BACKGROUND The incidence and prevalence of atrial fibrillation are increasing each year,and this condition is one of the most common clinical *** To investigate the levels and significance of serum fibroblast growth factor 23(FGF-23)and miR-208 b in patients with atrial fibrillation and their relationship with *** From May 2018 to October 2019,240 patients with atrial fibrillation were selected as an observation group,including 134 with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and 106 with persistent atrial fibrillation;150 patients with healthy sinus rhythm were selected as a control *** serum levels of FGF-23 and miR-208 b in the two groups were *** the observation group,cardiac parameters were determined by *** The serum levels of FGF-23 and miR-208 b in the observation group were 210.20±89.60 ng/mL and 5.30±1.22 ng/mL,which were significantly higher than the corresponding values in the control group(P0.05).The serum levels of FGF-23and miR-208 b were positively correlated with the LAD(r=0.411 and 0.382,P<0.05).In the observation group,the serum levels of FGF-23 and miR-208 b in patients with a major cardiovascular event(MACE)were 243.30±72.29 ng/mL and 6.12±1.12 ng/mL,which were significantly higher than the corresponding values in patients without a MACE(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The serum levels of FGF-23 and miR-208 b are increased in patients with atrial fibrillation and are related to the type of disease,cardiac parameters,and prognosis.

A severe typhoon Utor,occurring between July 3 and 8,2001,brought heavy rainfall,strong wind and storm *** was responsible for tremendous destruction and economic losses in Philippines,Taiwan and *** air-sea model system （MM5 and Princeton Ocean Model（POM））was built to simulate meteorological dynamics and ocean circulation in the South China Sea（SCS）.In the POM the output of MM5 was used as the input *** an increased number of vertical levels,a high-resolution planetary boundary layer scheme and updated landuse/vegetation data,the accuracy of computing wind,temperature and other meteorological fields are improved in near surface and upper levels in MM5 *** simulated trajectory and wind speed of Utor are close to the observed *** simulated distribution of rainfall is accorded well with measured data in the Pearl River Delta（PRD）*** different meteorological stations in Hong Kong,the wind,temperature and sea surface pressure are well *** simulated ocean surface current and surface temperature fields have an obvious rightward-biased response to the typhoon Utor,and the maximum velocity and the lowest temperature region appear in the 30 km of the right side of the typhoon *** typhoon Utor could make the water 50m under the surface ocean unwell to surface and the ocean surface temperature decrease by about 2°C.

BACKGROUND Neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC)of the extrahepatic bile duct is very rare,and the treatment and prognosis are ***,we report the case of a middleaged female with primary large cell NEC(LCNEC)of the common hepatic duct combined with distal cholangiocarcinoma(dCCA).Additionally,after a review of the relevant literature,we summarize and compare mixed neuroendocrine-nonneuroendocrine neoplasm(minEN)and pure NEC to provide a reference for selecting the appropriate treatment and predicting the prognosis of this rare *** SUMMARY A 62-year-old female presented to the hospital due to recurrent abdominal pain for 2 *** examination showed mild tenderness in the upper abdomen and a positive Courvoisier *** tests showed elevated liver transaminase and carbohydrate antigen 199 *** examination revealed node dissection was performed,and hepatic duct tumours were unexpectedly found during *** suggested poorly differentiated LCNEC(approximately 0.5 cm×0.5 cm×0.4 cm),Ki-67(50%),synaptophysin+,and chromogranin A+.dCCA pathology suggested moderately differentiated *** patient eventually developed lymph node metastasis in the liver,bone,peritoneum,and abdominal cavity and died 24 months after *** sequencing methods were used to compare gene mutations in the two primary bile duct *** The prognosis of minEN and pure NEC alone is different,and the selection of treatment options needs to be differentiated.

Graphene platelets(GPLs)-reinforced metal foam structures enhance the mechanical properties while maintaining the lightweight characteristics of metal foams. Further bonding piezoelectric actuator and sensor layers on the surfaces of GPLs-reinforced metal foam beams enables active vibration control, greatly expanding their applications in the aerospace industry. For the first time, this paper investigates the vibration characteristics and active vibration control of GPLs-reinforced metal foam beams with surfacebonded piezoelectric layers. The constant velocity feedback scheme is used to design the closed-loop controller including piezoelectric actuators and sensors. The effects of the GPLs on the linear and nonlinear free vibrations of the beams are numerically *** Newmark-β method combined with Newton's iteration technique is used to calculate the nonlinear responses of the beams under different load forms including harmonic loads,impact loads, and moving loads. Additionally, special attention is given to the vibration reduction performance of the velocity feedback control on the responses of the beam.

The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.
