Nitro-aromatic compounds(NACs)are among the major components of brown carbon(BrC)in the atmosphere,causing negative impacts on regional climate,air quality,and ecological *** to the extensive origins,it is still a challenge to figure out the contributions and originating regions for different sources of atmospheric ***,field observations on fine particulate NACs were conducted at a coastal rural area in Qingdao,China in the winter of 2018 and *** mean total concentrations of fine particulate nitro-aromatic compounds were 125.0±89.5 and 27.7±21.1 ng/m^(3)in the winter of 2018 and 2019,*** the measured eleven NACs,nitrophenols and nitrocatechols were the most abundant *** characteristics and correlation analysis showed that humidity and anthropogenic primary emissions had significant influences on the NAC *** this study,two tracing methods of the improved spatial concentration weighted trajectory(SCWT)model and the receptor model of positive matrix factorization(PMF)were combined to comprehensively understand the origins of NACs in fine particles at coastal *** major sources were identified,including coal combustion,biomass burning,vehicle exhaust,and secondary ***,coal combustion was responsible for about half of the observed nitro-aromatic compounds,followed by biomass burning(~30%).The results by SCWT demonstrated that the coal combustion dominated NACs mainly originated from the Shandong peninsula and the areas to the north and southwest,while those dominated by biomass burning primarily came from local Qingdao and the areas to the west.

Background: Lingual epithelia in the tongue tip are among the most rapidly regenerating tissues, but the mechanism of cell genesis in this tissue is still unknown. Previous study has suggested the existence of multiple stem cell pools in lingual epithelia and papillae. Like K14+ and Sox2+ cells, NTPDase2+ cells have characteristics of stem ***: We employed a system using doxycycline to conditionally ablate NTPDase2+ cells in lingual epithelia and papillae by regulated expression of the diphtheria toxin A(DTA) gene. Transgenic lines, which expressed the rtTA gene in NTPDase2+ cells, were produced by pronuclear injection of zygotes from C57 BL/6 mice using the BAC clone RP23-47 P18. The NTPDase2-rtTA transgenic mice were crossed with the TetO-DTA transgenic animals. The double transgenic mice were treated with doxycycline. Doxycycline(Dox) was diluted in 5% sucrose in water to a final concentration of 0.3-0.5 mg/mL and supplied as drinking ***: After 15 days of Dox induction, the expression of NTPDase2, Sox2 and K14 was ablated from lingual epithelia. DTA expression in NTPDase2+cells did not inhibit the turnover of GNAT3+ or PLCb2+ cells in taste buds,nor the expression of S100 b beneath lingual epithelia and papillae. After35 days ablation of NTPDase2+ cells, the basic structure of lingual epithelia and papillae remained intact. However, the ratio of cell to total tissue area was decreased in lingual epithelia and circumvallate(CV) papillae. DTA expression also inhibited the regeneration of filiform papillae on the dorsal surface of the tongue ***: These studies provide important insights into the understanding of dynamic equilibrium among the multiple stem cell populations present in the lingual epithelia and papillae.

Corrosion behavior of low-carbon Cr micro-alloyed steel for grounding grids in simulated acidic soil

To improve the corrosion resistance of steels for grounding grids, a low-carbon Cr micro-alloyed steel was developed （C 1 steel）, and corrosion behavior of Q235 steel and newly developed C1 steel in simulated acidic soil was investigated. The corrosion rate was evaluated with the mass loss measurements, while the corrosion morphology of surface and cross section of rust layer was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The corrosion products were analyzed by energy- dispersive X-ray spectrometry, X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and the polarization curve was measured using potentiodynamic polarization method. Results indicated that C 1 steel displayed good corrosion resistance in the simulated acidic soil, of which the corrosion rate was only 30% of that of Q235 steel after corrosion for 360 h. The analysis of rust layer showed that lower carbon content in steel could reduce the tendency of micro cell corrosion and appropriate amount of chromium could improve the corrosion potential of metal matrix. Moreover, the analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the chromium enriched in inner rust layer of C1 steel existed mainly in the form of Fe2CrO4, which facilitated the formation of Cr-goethite and improved the protection of corrosion products.
