Use of a flexible thermoelectric source is a feasible approach to realizing selfpowered wearable electronics and the Internet of *** thin films are promising candidates for fabricating flexible power supply,but obtaining highthermoelectric‐performance thin films remains a big *** the present work,a p‐type Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3) thin film is designed with a high figure of merit of 1.11 at 393 K and exceptional flexibility(less than 5%increase in resistance after 1000 cycles of bending at a radius of∼5 mm).The favorable comprehensive performance of the Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3) flexible thin film is due to its excellent crystallinity,optimized carrier concentration,and low elastic modulus,which have been verified by experiments and theoretical ***,a flexible device is fabricated using the prepared p‐type Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3) and n‐type Ag_(2)Se thin ***,an outstanding power density of∼1028μWcm^(−2)is achieved at a temperature difference of 25 *** work extends a novel concept to the fabrication of highperformance flexible thin films and devices for wearable energy harvesting.

We present two haze removal algorithms for single image based on haziness *** algorithm regards haze as the veil layer,and the other takes haze as the *** former uses the illumination component image obtained by retinex algorithm and the depth information of the original image to remove the veil *** latter employs guided filter to obtain the refined haze transmission and separates it from the original *** main advantages of the proposed methods are that no user interaction is needed and the computing speed is relatively fast.A comparative study and quantitative evaluation with some main existing algorithms demonstrate that similar even better quality results can be obtained by the proposed *** the top of haze removal,several applications of the haze transmission including image refocusing,haze simulation,relighting and 2-dimensional(2D)to 3-dimensional(3D) stereoscopic conversion are also implemented.

The effect of combined antibiotics exposure on nitrogen removal,microbial community assembly and proliferation of antibiotics resistance genes(ARGs)is a hotspot in activated sludge ***,it is unclear that how the historical antibiotic stress affects the subsequent responses of microbes and ARGs to combined *** this study,the effects of combined sulfamethoxazole(SMX)and trimethoprim(TMP)pollution on activated sludge under legacy of SMX or TMP stress with different doses(0.005-30 mg/L)were investigated to clarify antibiotic legacy *** activity was inhibited under higher level of combined exposure but a high total nitrogen removal(∼70%)*** on the full-scale classification,the legacy effect of past antibiotic stress had a marked effect on community composition of conditionally abundant taxa(CAT)and conditionally rare or abundant taxa(CRAT).Rare taxa(RT)were the keystone taxa in the microbial network,and the responses of hub genera were also affected by the legacy of antibiotic *** bacteria and genes were inhibited by the antibiotics and aerobic denitrifying bacteria(Pseudomonas,Thaurea and Hydrogenophaga)were enriched under legacy of high dose,as were the key denitrifying genes(napA,nirK and norB).Furthermore,the occurrences and co-selection relationship of 94 ARGs were affected by legacy ***,some shared hosts(eg.,Citrobacter)and hub ARGs(eg.,mdtD,mdtE and acrD)were ***,antibiotic legacy could affect responses of activated sludge to combined antibiotic and the legacy effect was stronger at higher exposure levels.

Tylorrhynchus heterochaetus is a widespread benthic polychaete worm found in coastal brackish waters of the west *** has high ecological and economic value as a biomarker of water quality and as a high-quality feed in aquaculture and fisheries and is considered a delicacy in some areas of ***,it has experienced a marked reduction in recent years due to overexploitation as well as changes in the environment and ***,to comprehensively understand its genetic background and thus provide insights for better conservation and utilization of this species,we assessed the genetic variability and demographic history of *** individuals sampled from eight locations along the coasts of southeast China and north Vietnam based on mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase I(COI)*** observed high haplotype diversity(Hd),with an average of 0.926,but relatively low nucleotide diversity(π),with a mean of 0.032 across all samples.A total of 94 polymorphic sites and 85 haplotypes were identified among 320 *** pairwise genetic distances among haplotypes ranged from 0.001 to 0.067,with the high intraspecific divergence possibly reflecting geographic isolation and gene pool *** genetic structures were revealed among the studied locations;specifically,the eight locations could be treated as six genetically different populations based on pairwiseΦST results(0.026–0.951,P<0.01).A significant pattern of isolation-by-distance was detected between the genetic and geographic distances(r=0.873,P=0.001).Three geographic lineages were defined based on phylogenetic tree and network analyses of COI *** results indicated that genetic variations mainly occurred among the three lineages(89.96%).Tests of neutrality and mismatch distribution suggested that *** underwent recent population *** results provide the first report on the genetic status of *** and will be valuable for the managem

With the increasing number of vehicles,manual security inspections are becoming more laborious at road *** address it,a specialized Road Checkpoints Robot(RCRo)system is proposed,incorporated with enhanced You Only Look Once(YOLO)and a 6-degree-of-freedom(DOF)manipulator,for autonomous identity verification and vehicle *** modified YOLO is characterized by large objects’sensitivity and faster detection speed,named“LF-YOLO”.The better sensitivity of large objects and the faster detection speed are achieved by means of the Dense module-based backbone network connecting two-scale detecting network,for object detection tasks,along with optimized anchor boxes and improved loss *** the manipulator motion,Octree-aided motion control scheme is adopted for collision-free motion through Robot Operating System(ROS).The proposed LF-YOLO which utilizes continuous optimization strategy and residual technique provides a promising detector design,which has been found to be more effective during actual object detection,in terms of decreased average detection time by 68.25%and 60.60%,and increased average Intersection over Union(Io U)by 20.74%and6.79%compared to YOLOv3 and YOLOv4 through *** comprehensive functional tests of RCRo system demonstrate the feasibility and competency of the multiple unmanned inspections in practice.

We propose a novel kind of compound permanent magnet synchronous machine (CPMSM), which is applicable in low-speed and high-torque situations. We first explain the structure of the CPMSM. Based on theoretically deducing the calculation formulae of the CPMSM electromagnetic parameters, we analyze the operating characteristics of the CPMSM, and obtain the power-angle curves and working curves. The no-load magnetic field distribution and the cogging torque are analyzed by applying the finite element method of three-dimensional (3D) magnetic fields, to determine the no-load leakage coefficient and the waveform of the cogging torque. Furthermore, the optimal parameters of the permanent magnet for reducing the cogging torque are determined. An important application target of the CPMSM is in directdrive pumping units. We have installed and tested a direct- drive pumping unit in an existing oil well. Test results show that the power consumption of the direct-drive pumping unit driven by CPMSM is 61.1% of that of the beam-pumping unit, and that the floor space and weight are only 50% of those of a beam-pumping unit. The noise output does not exceed 58 dB in a range of 1 m around the machine when the machine is 1.5 m from the ground.

A Light Weight Traffic Volume Prediction Approach Based on Finite Traffic Volume Data

As one of the key technologies of intelligent transportation systems, short-term traffic volume prediction plays an increasingly important role in solving urban traffic problems. In the last decade, many approaches were proposed for the traffic volume prediction from different perspectives. However, most of these approaches are based on a large amount of historical data. When there are only finite collected traffic data, they cannot be well trained, so the prediction accuracy of these approaches will be poor. In this paper, a tensor model is proposed to capture the change patterns of continuous traffic volumes. From collected traffic volume data, the element data are extracted to update the corresponding elements of the tensor model. Then, a tucker decomposition and gradient descent based algorithm is employed to impute the missing elements of the tensor model. After missing element imputation, the tensor model can be directly applied to the short-term traffic volume prediction through searching the corresponding elements of the model and the storage cost of the model is low. Our model is evaluated on real traffic volume data from PeMS dataset, which indicates that our model has higher traffic volume prediction accuracy than other approaches in the situation of finite traffic volume data.

Traffic flow prediction plays an important role in intelligent transportation applications,such as traffic control,navigation,path planning,etc.,which are closely related to people's daily *** the last twenty years,many traffic flow prediction approaches have been ***,some of these approaches use the regression based mechanisms,which cannot achieve accurate short-term traffic flow ***,other approaches use the neural network based mechanisms,which cannot work well with limited amount of training *** this end,a light weight tensor-based traffic flow prediction approach is proposed,which can achieve efficient and accurate short-term traffic flow prediction with continuous traffic flow data in a limited period of *** the proposed approach,first,a tensor-based traffic flow model is proposed to establish the multi-dimensional relationships for traffic flow values in continuous time ***,a CANDECOMP/PARAFAC decomposition based algorithm is employed to complete the missing values in the constructed ***,the completed tensor can be directly used to achieve efficient and accurate traffic flow *** experiments on the real dataset indicate that the proposed approach outperforms many current approaches on traffic flow prediction with limited amount of traffic flow data.
