Sedum alfredii Hance is a newly reported zinc （Zn） and cadmium （Cd） hyperaccumulator native to China. In this study, four populations of S. alfredii were collected from Yejiwei （YJW）, Jinchuantang （JCT） and Qiaokou （QK） lead （Pb）lZn mines located in Hunan Province as well as Quzhou （QZ） PblZn mine located in Zhejiang Province for exploring the intraspecies difference of this plant in metal accumulation. Although they grew in the PblZn spoils with relatively similar levels of Zn, Cd and Pb, remarkable differences among the four populations in tissue heavy metal concentrations were observed. The shoot Zn concentration of QZ population （11 116mglkg） was highest and nearly five times higher than that of the JCT population （1 930 mg/kg）. Furthermore, the shoot Cd concentration observed in the QZ population （1 090 mg/kg） was also highest and 144 times higher than that found in the JCT population （7.5 mg/kg）. As for Pb concentrations in the shoot of different populations, a fourfold difference between the highest and the lowest was also found. Such difference on metal accumulation was population-specific and may be significantly explained by differences in the soil properties such as pH, organic matter （OM）, and electrical conductivity （EC）. Taking biomass and metal concentration in plants into consideration, the QZ, YJW and QK populations may have high potential for Zn phytoremediation, the QZ population may have the highest potential in Cd phytoremediation, and the QK population may be the most useful in Pb phytoremediation.

胶合木框架结构中常采用钢填板-螺栓连接节点,但其易在梁上出现木材横纹劈裂和顺纹剪切脆性破坏,为解决此问题,提出分片式型钢-螺栓胶合木梁柱节点形式,通过在钢填板上下增设翼缘来限制木材横纹裂缝发展。为量化其转动性能,对柱中、柱端2组共6个足尺节点开展了低周反复加载试验。试验结果表明:相比于普通钢填板-螺栓连接节点,分片式型钢-螺栓胶合木梁柱节点的受弯承载力、相对受弯承载力系数、初始刚度、延性系数分别提高了98%、57%、71%、62%。基于节点受力机理和欧洲规范相关计算方法,提出了分片式型钢-螺栓节点的受弯承载力和初始刚度的计算方法,计算结果与试验结果误差最大为13.2%。

Stripe rust,caused by Puccinia striiformis ***(Pst),is one of the most important diseases threatening the yield and stability of wheat production in China and many other *** and utilization of new genes for durable stripe rust resistance are important for ongoing control of this *** objectives of this study were to identify quantitative trait loci(QTL)associated with adult-plant stripe rust resistance in the Chinese wheat landrace Yibinzhuermai(YBZR)and to provide wheat breeders with new sources of potentially durable resistance.A total of 117 recombinant inbred lines(RILs)(F5:8)derived from a cross between YBZR and highly susceptible cultivar Taichung 29(TC29)were assessed for stripe rust severity in field experiments at Wenjiang in 2016 and 2017 and Chongzhou in 2016,2017,2018,and 2019 in Sichuan following inoculation with a mixture of current Pst *** RILs were genotyped using the Wheat55K single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)*** QTL were identified on chromosome arms 6AL,5BL and ***-6AL and ***-7DS conferred major effects in all field environments,explaining 10.6%to 14.7%and 11.5%to 21.2%of phenotypic variation,*** QTL on 5BL and 7DS likely correspond to previously known QTL,whereas ***-6AL is probably *** analysis revealed that the resistance allele at ***-6AL was present in 2.8%of 324 Chinese wheat *** markers closely linked with ***-6AL were converted to kompetitive allele-specific PCR markers and validated in the RIL population and a subset of 92 wheat ***-6AL and its markers should be useful in breeding programs to improve the level and durability of stripe rust resistance.

AIM To detect the expression of Arpin, and determine its correlation with clinicopathological characteristics and the prognosis of gastric cancer(GC) *** A total of 176 GC patients were enrolled as study subjects and classified into groups according to different clinicopathological variables. GC mucosal tissues were obtained via surgery. Another 43 paraffin-embedded tissue blocks of normal gastric epithelium(> 5 cm away from the edge of the tumor) were included in the control group. Immunohistochemistry(IHC) for the Arpin and Arp3 proteins was performed on the formalinfixed, paraffin-embedded GC tissues. Additionally, expression of the Arpin protein in 43 normal gastric tissues was also determined using *** Expression of the Arpin protein in GC was lower than that in normal gastric mucosa(30.68% vs 60.47%, P < 0.001). A χ2 test of the 176 GC samples used for IHC showed that decreased Arpin expression was associated with advanced TNM stage(P < 0.01) and the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis(80.92% vs 35.56%, P < 0.001). Additionally, a significant correlation was observed between the expression of Arpin and the presence of the Arp2/3 complex in GC tissues(χ2 = 30.535, P < 0.001). Moreover, a multivariate Coxregression analysis revealed that Arpin expression [hazard ratio(HR) = 0.551, P = 0.029] and TNM stage(HR = 5.344, P = 0.001) were independent prognostic markers for overall survival of GC patients. Regarding the 3-year disease-free survival(DFS), the recurrence rate of GC patients with low Arpin expression levels(median DFS 19 mo) was higher than that in the highArpin-expression group(median DFS 34 mo, P = 0.022).CONCLUSION Low Arpin levels are associated with clinicopathological variables and a poor prognosis in GC patients. Arpin may be regarded as a potential prognostic indicator in GC.
