Cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)are a major constituent of the tumor microenvironment(TME)and an important contributor to cancer progression and therapeutic *** of CAF activation is a promising strategy to influence cancer ***,we report that ovarian cancer cells(OCs)and TME cells promote the activation of ovarian CAFs,whereas gold nanoparticles(GNPs)of 20 nm in diameter inhibit the activation,as demonstrated by the changes in cell morphology,migration,and molecular *** exert the effect by altering the levels of multiple fibroblast activation or inactivation proteins,such as TGF-β1,PDGF,uPA and TSP1,secreted by OCs and TME ***,GNPs represent a potential tool to help understand multicellular communications existing in the TME as well as devise strategies to disrupt the communication.

In this paper,we propose a photonic crystal fiber(PCF)polarization filter based on surface plasmon resonance(SPR)*** nanowire is used as the active plasmonic *** into silica core becomes coupled to gold nanowire stimulating SPR. It soplits light into two orthogonal(x-polarization and y-polarization)polarization in the second order of surface plasmon *** investigations of the proposed PCF filter is finite element method(FEM).By position,the performance of the propsed PCF filter is inspected *** of any polarization can be obtained by properly placing the metal *** maximum cnfinement loss of x-polarization is 692.25dB/cm and y-polarization is 1.13dB/cm offers at resonance position 1.42μ*** a confinement loss difference between two orthogonal polarizations makes PCF a talented candidate to filter ***,the recommended PCF structure is useful for polarization device.

Resistance to chemotherapy is a prominent clinical problem in high grade serous ovarian cancer(HGSOC).1 An inadequate understanding of adaptive signaling coupled with limited treatment options for a chemoresistant tumor are likely causes for poor *** previously reported that BMI1,a stem-cell factor is instrumental in regulating chemoresistance.2,3 However,to advance anti-BMI1 therapy from the bench to the bedside,efficacy needs to be tested in patient-derived chemoresistant HGSOC models,which is lacking.

Pocket Switched Networks(PSN)represent a particular remittent network for direct communication between the handheld mobile *** to traditional networks,there is no stable topology structure for PSN where the nodes observe the mobility model of human *** is a kind of Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)that gives a description to circulate information among the network nodes by the way of taking the benefit of transferring nodes from one area to *** its inception,there are several schemes for message routing in the infrastructure-less environment in which human mobility is only the best manner to exchange *** routing messages,PSN uses different techniques such asDistributed Expectation-Based Spatio-Temporal(DEBT)Epidemic(DEBTE),DEBT Cluster(DEBTC),and DEBT Tree(DEBTT).Understanding on how the network environment is affected for these routing strategies are the main motivation of this *** this paper,we have investigated the impact of network nodes,the message copies per transmission,and the overall carrying out of these routing *** simulator was used to analyze those techniques on the basis of delivery,overhead,and *** result of this task demonstrates that for a particular simulation setting,DEBTE is the best PSN routing technique among all,against DEBTC and DEBTT.

Transforming growth factor-beta（TGF-β）/bone morphogenetic protein（BMP） plays a fundamental role in the regulation of bone organogenesis through the activation of receptor serine/threonine kinases. Perturbations of TGF-β/BMP activity are almost invariably linked to a wide variety of clinical outcomes, i.e., skeletal, extra skeletal anomalies, autoimmune, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Phosphorylation of TGF-β（I/II） or BMP receptors activates intracellular downstream Smads, the transducer of TGF-β/BMP signals. This signaling is modulated by various factors and pathways, including transcription factor Runx2. The signaling network in skeletal development and bone formation is overwhelmingly complex and highly time and space ***, positive, negative, or synergistic effects are observed when TGF-β/BMP interacts with the pathways of MAPK, Wnt, Hedgehog（Hh）, Notch, Akt/m TOR, and mi RNA to regulate the effects of BMP-induced signaling in bone dynamics. Accumulating evidence indicates that Runx2 is the key integrator, whereas Hh is a possible modulator, mi RNAs are regulators, and b-catenin is a mediator/regulator within the extensive intracellular network. This review focuses on the activation of BMP signaling and interaction with other regulatory components and pathways highlighting the molecular mechanisms regarding TGF-β/BMP function and regulation that could allow understanding the complexity of bone tissue dynamics.

Development and validation of a simple UV spectrophotometric method for the determination of levofloxacin both in bulk and marketed dosage formulations

A rapid, specific and economic UV spectrophotometric method has been developed using a solvent composed of water：methanol：acetonitrile （9：0.5：0.5） to determine the levofloxacin content in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage formulations. At a pre-determined 2 of 292 nm, it was proved linear in the range of 1.0 12.0 μg/mL, and exhibited good correlation coefficient （R2=0.9998） and excellent mean recovery （99.0-100.07%）. This method was successfully applied to the determination of levofloxacin content in five marketed brands from Bangladesh and the results were in good agreement with the label claims. The method was validated statistically and by recovery studies for linearity, precision, repeatability, and reproducibility. The obtained results proved that the method can be employed for the routine analysis of levofloxacin in bulks as well as in the commercial formulations.

River water and sediment embody environmental characteristics that give valuable eco-environmental *** to rapid industrialization,the aquatic environment of any urban river can be seriously polluted by heavy metals(HMs).The global concern is caused by heavy metal pollution because of its potential harm to aquatic ecosystems and human *** the Bhairab River,Bangladesh,surface sediment concentrations of globally alarming toxic metals such as arsenic(As),chromium(Cr),cadmium(Cd),and lead(Pb) were measured to determine the ecological and human health risks of the riverine *** average As,Cr,Cd,and Pb concentrations in water were 3.55,31.74,1.44,and23.82 μg/L,respectively,and in sediment were 4.13,34.17,1.66,and 25.46 mg/kg,*** the winter,metals in sediment were higher than during the *** most sediment samples,the enrichment factor(EF),contamination factor(CF),geoaccumulation index(I),pollution load index(PLI) of As,Cr,Cd,and Pb indicated moderate *** potential ecological risk(PER) in sediment followed the descending order of Cd> As> Pb> *** contamination level of toxic metals implied that the condition is frightening and probably severely affecting the aquatic ecology of this riverine ecosystem.

The research is aimed at determining the impact of training and development programs in performance of employees of the ready-made garment industry in *** emphasis was on Chinese garment companies in the country,focusing on the training programs these companies provide to their *** study further determined the outcome of those programs for *** research was conducted in three reputed Chinese garment companies in Dhaka Export Processing Zone（DEPZ）.In literature review section shows that employee is considered as the major element of every firm and their success and failure mainly based on their *** ＆ development programs increase the employees’ ***,accuracy,effectiveness,good work and safety practices can be *** is describing the merits of training and its positive influence on employee *** data collection method used was primary survey on employees of sample Chinese garment *** was supported by secondary research on previous studies,articles,case studies,industry reports,government papers,different institutions’ works,popular newspaper reports and interview of resource *** analysis and Frequency analysis are the primary tools used for the data *** findings of the study revealed that the training programs are playing important role in garment *** workers do not only become competitive and effective on their jobs but their general livelihoods are also ***,it has been established that companies with well trained workforce have increased production levels hence their *** has also been discovered that employees feel safer than before in their workplace for fire safety training provided by company.

白细胞介素37（IL-37）是IL-1家族成员中唯一的抗炎细胞因子。本研究的目是试图阐述CpG寡脱氧核苷酸（CPG）诱导人类B细胞表达IL-37的机制,并研究表达IL-37的B细胞（B-37）在炎症性疾病中的作用。CD19B细胞从健康人外周血单个核细胞（PBMC）中分离,在尝试多种细胞因子、Toll-like受体刺激以及B细胞活化因子和刺激物后,发现IL-37在B细胞的表达主要被Toll-like受体9的配体CpG所诱导。并利用RT-PCR、免疫蛋白质印迹、免疫组化和流式细胞术确证IL-37在B细胞表达并被CPG所诱导。流式分析显示,CpG odn2006明显增加IL-37在B细胞的表达率（升高到20-40%）,并能维持B细胞长期存活;同时CpG ODN2006对B-37的诱导具有持续性,表现为移除刺激物后48小时内B细胞内IL-37持续表达并逐步增加。且证明,CpG诱导B细胞产生的IL-37不依赖于IL-10。CpG作为TLR9的配体激活My D88介导的信号通路,同时CpG也已被报道可激活BCR受体近端Src络氨酸激酶。我们的实验显示,CpG激活B细胞受体（BCR）近端Src酪氨酸激酶Lyn,活化的Lyn激活CD79a/CD79b（B细胞受体的信号传导亚单位）和Syk,其继而激活BCR下游信号通路。活化的Syk将PLCγ2磷酸化,激活的PLCγ2水解PIP3,产生DAG和IP3,它们活化PKC和增加细胞内Ca离子的释放,PKC通过对其亚单位P47phox的磷酸化激活NOX2 oxidase,活化的NOX2 oxidase增加ROS的产生,ROS通过稳定HIF-1α蛋白和促进其表达增加HIF-1α在细胞的含量,其依赖于NF-κB信号通路通过对HIF-1α的抑制和同时对IL-37的表达的检测显示,CpG诱导B细胞IL-37的表达可通过对HIF-1α的抑制而下调,提示IL-37在B细胞的表达通过HIF-1α。CpG上调IL-37在B细胞的表达是否仅仅通过对BCR受体通路PLCγ2/PKC/HIF-1a或通脱交叉调节与TLR9信号通路的共同作用尚需实验以验证。CpG对IL-37在B细胞的表达与TLR9信号通路的相关性也需进一步验证。为了探讨B-37细胞的功能,从野生型或IL-37转基因小鼠脾脏中分离B细胞和B-37细胞,并过继转移到IMQ诱导的牛皮癣疾病模型和DSS诱导的急性结肠炎疾病模型。在IMQ诱导的牛皮癣动物模型和DSS诱导的急性肠炎动物模型中,与野生型B细胞相比,B-37细胞显著抑制疾病的炎症反应,减轻疾病的症状、体征和病理。提示B-37细胞具有免疫调节的功能。
