To fill the continuous needs for faster processing elements with less power consumption causes large pressure on the complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)technology *** scaling scenario is not an option nowadays and other technologies need to be *** quantum-dot cellular automata(QCA)technology is one of the important emerging nanotechnologies that have attracted much researchers’attention in recent *** technology has many interesting features,such as high speed,low power consumption,and small *** features make it an appropriate alternative to the CMOS *** paper suggests three novel structures of XNOR gates in the QCA *** presented structures do not follow the conventional approaches to the logic gates design but depend on the inherent capabilities of the new *** proposed structures are used as the main building blocks for a single-bit *** resulted circuits are simulated for the verification purpose and then compared with existing counterparts in the *** comparison results are encouraging to append the proposed structures to the library of QCA gates.

传统织布和无纺布上的奢华图案宠物包装材料正以装饰和保护的目的出现。数码喷墨印花是在织物上制作图案的一种有效方法。但是,在数码喷墨印花中,存在着成色率差、附着性差、分辨率差等问题。这都是因为聚酯纤维具有疏水性和表面光滑性。因此,有必要在涤纶织物印花前进行一些预处理研究。在纺织品数码喷墨印花中,等离子体作为干法预处理是一种环保处理方法,使涤纶纤维具有亲水性和表面粗糙性。本研究采用两种聚酯织物改善数码喷墨打印性能。一种是100%聚酯平纹织物,另一种是PET无纺布。采用等离子体技术对涤纶平纹织物进行数字转印。针对无纺布的结构特点,采用等离子体对无纺布表面的PA涂层进行预处理,并对数字颜料印花和紫外诱导数字颜料印花进行了改进。以两种方法为目的,研究开发了两种涤纶织物和高档装饰包装材料的良好喷墨打印性能。对平纹织物进行不同时间的氧等离子体处理,找出最佳值,可获得良好的印花性能。测试了印花织物的成色率和染色牢度,考察了等离子体对印花性能的影响。用扫描电镜、X射线能谱、接触角和热重分析等方法对等离子体改性后织物的形貌、表面化学、润湿行为、热变化进行了表征。扫描电镜照片显示表面粗糙度明显增加。XPS显示化学含氧极性基团增加。水接触角测量表明,涤纶织物表面的润湿性增强。这些变化是由等离子体高能粒子引起的,表面粗糙度的增加可能是增强粗糙表面上转移分散染料的主要原因,也可能改变光学反射,从而提高涤纶织物数字转移印花的成色率。热重分析表明,等离子体对涤纶织物的损伤很小,甚至比转移印花的热损伤小。等离子体预处理对转移印花涤纶织物的损伤较小,但等离子体处理对热转移印花织物的损伤程度有所提高。对涤纶无纺布,采用甲醇、无水氯化钙和废旧PA 6长丝为主要原料制备涂层液。利用等离子体使织物具有亲水性,从而提高了尼龙6涂层溶液的吸收,从而在涤纶无纺布上形成了尼龙6涂层。然后在织物上进行数字印花,比较未处理、不同浓度涂层、不同浓度等离子预处理和不同PA 6浓度涂层的K/S值。结果表明,等离子体处理可以使涤纶无纺布由强疏水性改为强亲水性,使其在较低浓度下更容易吸收含有溶解废丝的涂料溶液。PA 6涂层在涤纶无纺布表面也具有亲水性,有利于颜料数码喷墨印花的油墨吸收,使印花的涤纶无纺布具有较高的显色率和清晰的分辨率。因此,等离子处理首先加上PA涂层可以通过喷墨打印来帮助制备高档图案的PET无纺布包装材料,尽管等离子处理和涂层对白度和手感有一定的负面影响。

Water and sediment quality parameters in the Chalan Beel, the largest wetland of Bangladesh

A study was conducted to investigate the status of the water and sediment quality in the Chalan Beel——a major fresh water fish reservoir of the country for a period of one year from July 2007 to June 2008. The mean values of water quality parameters(depth: 214.73±152.22 cm, temperature 27.68±4.26℃, transparency 123±82 cm, p H 9.7±0.47, total alkalinity 137±42 mg/L, conductivity 307±147 μs/cm, total dissolved solids 183±89 mg/L, ammonia-N 0.27±0.39 mg/L, nitrate-N 0.09±0.07 mg/L, phosphate-P 2.01±2.53 mg/L) and sediment quality parameters(p H 7.21±0.35, organic matter 2.59±0.52%, total nitrogen 0.09±0.04%, available phosphorus 5.4±3.6 Meq./100 g and exchangeable potassium 0.43±0.14 Meq./100 g) were within the range recommended for most of the inland fishes of Bangladesh. Although the water and sediment quality parameters except ammonia and phosphate are in the suitable range, the overall results suggest that better management techniques should be practiced in order to overcome the declining trend of associated aquatic life(fauna and flora) of this important fresh water body of Bangladesh.

Interactions of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CPFH)with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)were investigated by conductivity measurement in H2O/electrolyte solutions(NaCl,Na2SO4&Na3PO4)over 298.15–318.15 K temperature range(with 5 K interval)considering the human body *** all cases,two critical micelle concentrations(c*)were observed which are increased in the presence of drug and decreased in the presence of salts enunciating the presence of interaction amongst the studied ***(CPFH+SDS)system in the presence of salt,the c*values at 303.15 K and I=0.50 mmol·kg^-1 followed the order:CNaCl>CNa2SO4>***ΔG1,m0 andΔG2,m0values are found to be negative for all systems that show that the micellization process is thermodynamically ***(CPFH+SDS)system in water,theΔHm0&ΔSm0 values reveal that the micellization processes is both entropy dominated in almost all *** the occurrence of electrolytes,ΔHm0 andΔSm0 values indicate that micellization processes are both entropy&enthalpy restricted at upper temperature but it becomes totally entropy dependent at higher *** higher positiveΔSm0 values indicate the enhanced hydrophobic interaction in presence of *** enthalpy-entropy compensation was determined from the linear relationship betweenΔHm0 andΔSm0 values in every *** transfer energies as well as compensation temperature and intrinsic enthalpy were also evaluated and the behaviors were comparable to other biological system.

In this paper,an improvement has been made to the approximation technique of a complex domain through the stair-step approach to have a considerable accuracy,minimize computational cost,and avoid the hardship of manual work.A novel stair-step representation algorithm is used in this regard,where the entire procedure is carried out through our developed MATLAB *** C-grid is used in our approximation with(1/120)°grid *** a test case,the method is applied to approximate the domain covering the area between 15°-23°N latitudes and 85°-95°E longitudes in the Bay of *** with the approximation of the land-sea interface,coastal stations are also *** land-sea interfaces and coastal stations are found to be in good agreement with the actual ones based on the similarity index,overlap fraction,and extra fraction *** method can be used for approximating an irregular geometric domain to employ the finite difference method in solving problems related to long *** a test case,shallow water equations in Cartesian coordinates are solved on the domain of interest for simulating water levels due to the nonlinear tide-surge interaction associated with the storms April 1991 and AILA,2009 along the coast of *** same input except for the discretized domain and bathymetry as that of Paul et al.(2016)is used in our *** results are found to be in reasonable agreement with the observed data procured from Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority.

The speed of increasing threats to the riverine water resources makes it more critical to protect the health of Old Brahmaputra River *** current study was done to investigate the concentrations,distributions,sources,and ecological risk of heavy metals in surface sediment from the Old Brahmaputra River,*** were collected from seven sites and analyzed with an inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer(ICP-MS).The results showed that mean concentrations(mg/kg) of heavy metals were in the order of nickel(Ni)(44.69)> chromium(Cr)(30.16)> lead(Pb)(19.31)>copper(Cu)(17.84)> cadmium(Cd)(3.94)> arsenic(As)(2.73).The contamination factor(CF),pollution load index(PLI),enrichment factor(EF),and geo-accumulation index(Igeo) indicated low to moderate *** unit analysis revealed that the studied metals from all stations posed low *** sediment of the study river was uncontaminated to moderately contaminated,posing a minimal ecological ***,Cr,Ni,and Pb originated from anthropogenic sources rather than geogenic sources,and caused the severity of *** this regard,pollutant-based intensive monitoring of heavy metals and holistic ecological risk assessments are required to maintain a sound and healthy aquatic environment in the river.

Single nucleotide polymorphisms and restriction digestion-based haplotype variations among 160 flood prone rice varieties were analyzed with enzymes Alu I and Cac8 I to generate polymorphisms at Sub1A and Sub1C loci （conferring submergence tolerance）, respectively. Haplotype associated with phenotype was used to study the haplotype variations at Sub1A and Sub1C loci and to determine their functional influence on submergence tolerance and stem elongation. Three patterns at Sub1A locus, Sub1A0 （null allele）, Sub1A1 （does not cut） and Sub1A2 （one SNP）, and four patterns at Sub1C locus, Sub1C1, Sub1C2, Sub1C3 and Sub1C4, were generated. Both tolerant Sub1A1 and intolerant Sub1A2 had the same length, but the difference was presence of a restriction site in the Sub1A2, but absent at the Sub1A1. Further, two types of polymorphism were detected at the Sub1C, one included major length polymorphisms （165, 170 and 175 bp） and the other was a single restriction site at different position. Eight haplotypes （different combinations of the two loci）, A1C1, A1C2, A1C4, A2C2, A2C4, A0C2, A0C3 and A0C4, were detected among 160 varieties. Haplotype A1C1 was comparatively more related to haplotypes A1C2 and A1C4, having the same Sub1A allele, and these haplotypes were found only in Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Indian varieties. Most tolerant varieties in A1C1 haplotype showed slow elongation, having tolerant specific Sub1A1 and Sub1C1 alleles. Further, the varieties Madabaru and Kottamali （A2C2） also showed moderate level of tolerance without Sub1A1 allele. These varieties were different with FR13A and also suspected to carry different novel tolerant genes at other loci. These materials could be used for hybridization with Sub1 varieties for pyramiding additional tolerant specific alleles into a single genotype for improving submergence tolerance in rice.

Evaluation of assessment of the metal processes governing the metals distribution in soil and dust samples is very significant and protects the health of human and ecological system. Recently, special attention has given to the assessment of metals pollution impact on soil and dust within industrial areas. This study aims to assess the metal contamination levels in the topsoil and street dust around the cement factory in Qadissiya area, southern Jordan. The levels of seven metals (namely Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cr, Cd, and Mn) were analyzed using Flame Atomic Absorption Spec-trophotometer (FAAS) to monitor, evaluate, and to compare topsoil and road dust pollution values of metals of the different types of urban area. The physicochemical parameters which believed to affect the mobility of metals in the soil of the study area were determined such as pH, EC, TOM, CaCO3 and CEC. The levels of metal in soil samples are greater on the surface but decrease in the lower part as a result of the basic nature of soil. The mean values of the metals in soil can be arranged in the following order: Zn > Pb > Mn > Fe > Cu > Cr > Cd. The relatively high concentration of metals in the soil sample was attributed to anthropogenic activities such as traffic emissions, cement factory and agricultural activities. Correlation coefficient analysis and the spatial distribution of indices and the results of statistical analysis indicate three groups of metals: Fe and Mn result by natural origin, Zn, Pb, Cu and Zn result by anthropogenic origin (mainly motor vehicle traffic and abrasion of tires) while Cd is mixed origin. The higher content level values of metals of anthropogenic source in soil samples indicate that it is a source of contamination of air in the studied area. .

Over the past few years, numerous traffic safety applications have been developed using vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs). These applications represent public interest and require network-wide dissemination techniques. On the other hand, certain non-safety applications do not require network-wide dissemination *** applications can be characterized by their individual interest between two vehicles that are geographically apart. In the existing literature, several proposals of unicast protocols exist that can be used for these non-safety applications. Among the proposals, unicast protocols for city scenarios are considered to be most *** implies that in city scenarios unicast protocols show minimal persistence towards highly dynamic vehicular characteristics, including mobility, road structure, and physical environment. Unlike other studies, this review is motivated by the diversity of vehicular characteristics and difficulty of unicast protocol adaption in city *** review starts with the categorization of unicast protocols for city scenarios according to their requirement for a predefined unicast path. Then, properties of typical city roads are discussed, which helps to explore limitations in efficient unicast communication. Through an exhaustive literature review, we propose a thematic taxonomy based on different aspects of unicast protocol operation. It is followed by a review of selected unicast protocols for city scenarios that reveal their fundamental characteristics. Several significant parameters from the taxonomy are used to qualitatively compare the reviewed protocols. Qualitative comparison also includes critical investigation of distinct approaches taken by researchers in experimental protocol evaluation. As an outcome of this review, we point out open research issues in unicast routing.
