A dual-stage servo system consists of a primary coarse actuator for facilitating large motion and a secondary micro-actuator for small but precise motion to improve tracking performance. Piezoelectric micro-actuator made from lead zirconate titanate(PZT)has been a popular choice for the secondary stage. However, the advantage gained by the resolution of the secondary PZT actuator is reduced by its inherent hysteresis nonlinearity. Model based hysteresis compensation techniques are preferred due to their simplicity and fast response. Identification and modeling are two substantial parts in such model-based techniques. This paper presents a rigorous analysis and modeling of the hysteresis of PZT micro-actuator. Modified Generalized Prandtl-Ishlinskii and Coleman-Hodgdon models are studied. Identification of the model through nonlinear least square and particle swarm optimization are examined and compared. Several analyses are done through tuning of the model parameters and identification *** analysis and simulation results underscore the effectiveness of this modeling approach. Finally as a design example,a dual-stage simulation analysis is done to show the effectiveness of systematic modeling on hysteresis compensation.

Background although hydrostatic reduction of intussusception with ultrasound(US)or fluoroscopy guidance is well known,it is not yet well established in many low-income and middle-income *** aim of the study is to report our results of hydrostatic reduction with intermittent radiography,which has the potential to be practiced in resource-limited *** We retrospectively analyzed our patients with intussusception from 2009 to 2019(11 years).Hydrostatic reduction was performed using water-soluble contrast medium(iopamidol),and reduction was followed with intermittent X-rays taken after every 50 mL of diluted contrast *** procedure was not continuously monitored by US or *** in outcome based on age and gender,and yearly trends of admission for intussusception,types of treatment and mortality were *** Among 672 patients,the ratio of boys to girls was 2.46:1.0,and their ages ranged from 1 month to 15 years(median 8 months).Hydrostatic reduction was performed successfully in 351(52.23%)patients;308(45.83%)patients underwent surgery;and 13(1.93%)patients died before any *** were significant differences in age between patients with successful hydrostatic reduction(median 7 months)and patients needing surgery(median 9 months)(palf of the patients with acceptable complication rates.

Rhabdomyolysis is a severe condition characterized by the breakdown of muscle tissue leading to the release of intracellular components into the *** condition,when associated with acute kidney injury(AKI),can result in significant morbidity and mortality,particularly in the context of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).This editorial discusses a retrospective study on patients with COVID-19 who developed rhabdomyolysis-related *** study highlights that patients with rhabdomyolysis exhibited higher inflammatory markers,such as Creactive protein,ferritin,and procalcitonin,and experienced worse clinical outcomes compared to those with other causes of *** findings underscore the importance of early recognition and management of rhabdomyolysis in COVID-19 patients to improve prognosis and reduce mortality rates.

Objective:This study is designed to evaluate the microbiological safety concern of drinking water of the 50 schools of Chattogram city,Bangladesh,and to investigate the sanitation and hygiene conditions of the schools,which are directly related to the health of thousands of ***:In this study,pour plate method used for total viable count(TVC),most probable number(MPN)method used for the total coliform count(TCC)and fecal coliform count(FCC),and four selective media used to isolate pathogenic bacteria from drinking water samples,and then identified by using morphological,cultural,and biochemical *** investigate the water,sanitation,and hygiene conditions a structured questionnaire was ***:A total of 46% samples were found above the acceptable limit(>500 CFU/ml)for TVC count,52%sam-ples had coliform,and 28% samples had fecal coliform,which exceeded the WHO guideline *** categorized 50 studied schools into five groups and found the highest TVC(67%)and TCC(83%)in the water samples of city corporation ***,Salmonella,Shigella,Enterobacter,Citrobacter,Klebsiella,and Yersinia were isolated and identified from drinking water *** most schools,drinking water reservoirs were found impure and contaminated by various *** government primary schools,a toilet is used by 143 students,whereas in pri-vate English medium schools,a toilet is used by 30 students and found ***-washing soap was supplied in only 14% of government primary schools,but 100% in private English medium ***:Our findings suggest that drinking water in most of the schools was found contaminated by *** hygiene,sanitation,and contaminated drinking water seem responsible for different kinds of ***-over,this study indicates the necessity for raising awareness about drinking water,hygiene,and sanitation facil-ities of schools,which should monitor at regular intervals.

Advanced OER/HER electrocatalytic alternatives are crucial for the wide adaptation of green hydrogen ***,Ru/NiMnB spherical cluster pillar （SCP）,denoted as Ru/NiMnB,is synthesized using a combination of electro-deposition and hydrothermal *** investigation of Ru doping in the NiMnB matrix revealed significant improvements in electrocatalytic *** Ru/NiMnB SCPs demonstrate superior OER/HER activity with low overpotentials of 150 and 103 mV at 50mA/cm2in 1 M KOH,making them highly competitive with state-of-the-art ***,the Ru/NiMnB SCPs exhibit a low 2-E cell voltage of 2.80 V at ultra-high current density of 2,000 m A/cm2in 1 M KOH,outperforming the standard benchmark electrodes of RuO2||Pt/C,thereby positioning Ru/NiMnB as one of the best bifunctional *** SCPs exhibit exceptional high-current characteristics,stability and corrosion resistance,as evidenced by continuous operation at 1,000 mA/cm2high-current density for over 150 h in 6 M KOH at elevated temperatures under harsh industrial *** a small amount of Ru incorporation significantly enhances the electrocatalytic performances of NiMnB,attributed to increased active sites and improved intrinsic properties such as conductivity,adsorption/desorption capability and reaction ***,Ru/NiMnB SCPs present a promising bi-functional electrode concept for efficient green H2production.

We investigated the floristic composition, woody species diversity and spatial distribution of trees in a tropical wet evergreen forest in Kaptai national park in Chittagong Hill Tracks, Bangladesh. We recorded 25 families, 37 genera, 40 species and 1771 woody individuals in a 0.09 ha plot. Euphorbiaceae and Moraceae were the most species- rich families, and Castanopsis, Ficus and Terminaliawere the most species-rich genera. Bursera serrata Wall. ex Colebr. was the dominant species in terms of highest importance value （13%）. Trema orientalis （L.） B1 was typically a light demanding species as it appeared in the top can- opy with only one individual having the seventh highest IV, but had no regeneration. The expected maximum number of species （Smax） was 140, indicating that many species may invade the forest as the Sm~ is greater than the recorded total number of species. The nature of the disappear- ance and appearance of species in the present forest reflects instability of floristic composition. The values of Shannon＇s index H＇ and Pielou＇s index J＇（evenness） were 3.36 bit and 0.63, respectively. These values show moderately high species diversity as compared to other subtropical forests in the tropics. In addition, a sample area of 200 m2 in this forest would be sufficient for measuring the diversity indices H＂ and ,/＇, whereas the trend of J＇may indicate the rate of equality of individuals among the different species decreased with increasing area. The distribu- tion pattern for the total stand was completely random. However, the dominant species showed aggregate distribution for small areas, but random distribution for large areas. The spatial association between species showed that the strongest positive interspecific association occurred between Streblus asper Lour. and Castanea indica Roxh. （09 = 0.51）. This paper evaluated the significance of the posted differential speed limits(DSL)on traffic safety and operation along interstate highways in South *** paper defines DSL as the difference between the posted maximum and minimum speed *** paper used vehicle speed and traffic crashes for *** evaluation results showed over 99%of all vehicles complied with the posted 45 mph minimum speed limit and more than 50%of drivers drove above the posted maximum speed limit regardless of the posted maximum speed *** results also indicated that speed variations increased as the DSL ***,the safety evaluation showed conflicting results on the impacts of the DSL on *** results showed the DSL had negative implications on crashes per AADT per *** is attributed to increased interactions between slower and faster-moving vehicles in the traffic *** the contrary,it was observed that segments with higher DSL had fewer crashes per mile per lane than the segments with the lower *** results suggest there is a need to conduct more research to quantify the efficacy of posting the minimum speed limit because there were no problems observed with motorists driving too slowly on interstate *** results provide important information on the efficacy of posting minimum speed limits to improve the uniformity of traffic flow and safety.
