Although stimuli-responsive polymers have appeared as promising materials for drug administration,the effectiveness of these materials on various bioinspired stimuli is still open for *** this work,the stimuli-responsive behaviors of radical-containing nonamphiphilic copolymers were investigated using electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectroscopy while altering the pH and reductant *** concentration of radicals in the aqueous solution had a considerable impact on *** nitroxide radicals(hydrophobic)were converted to hydroxylamine(hydrophilic)when ascorbic acid(Asc)was added as a reductant,and the assemblies were switched to dissolution with a rate control *** behavior of morphological change was observed in the acidic pH due to the disproportionation reaction of nitroxide radicals forming cationic *** acquired results give new insights into the colloidal nanoparticles of nonamphiphilic copolymers and encourage the development of comparable responsive nanoparticles with intriguing drug delivery applications.

The structure of polyolefin has an important influence on its performance and ***/1-hexene copolymerization is one of the important ways to control the structure of the ***,research on the ethylene/1-hexene copolymerization catalyzed by nickel complexes with different steric ligands remains to be ***,three α-dimine nickel catalysts are used to study the ligand effect on catalytic performance in the ethylene/1-hexene *** activity,molecular weight,phase-transition temperature and branching density of the resultant copolymer are measured to evaluate the catalytic *** results indicate that the steric ligands could exert great effect on the *** for the chemical valence of Ni species,detailed EPR demonstrate that the presence of excess xo-catalyst can reduce Ni(Ⅱ)to the lower valence and affect the catalytic performance.

Study of the segmental mobility of polymer chains is important when the polymer is used as drag reduction agents of crude *** spin resonance(ESR)spectroscopy can provide important information about segmental dynamics of polymer chains,which is related to their *** this article,we employed an amphiphilic polymer to study the effect of hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance of the polymers on the segmental motion of polymer ***(styrene-co-maleic acid)(PSMA)was spin labeled with 4-amino TEMPO radicals by increasing the concentration of radical moiety on the polymer *** PSMA and spin labeled-PSMAs(SL-PSMAs)were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy,Cyclic voltammetry(CV)and ESR ***-polymer complexes(IPCs)of SL-PSMA-2 were prepared by employing polyethylene glycols(PEGs)of varying molecular *** results showed that the increased hydrophobic interactions of nitroxide radicals on the SLPSMAs’chains reduced the rotational mobility of spin labels and the random coil-toglobular transition of polymer chains occurred at higher pH value for SL-PSMAs,which showed a slow motion component in the ESR spectra of ***,by increasing the molecular weight of PEGs in IPCs the complexation was increased,which also reduced the rotational motion of spin labels due to interpolymer hydrogen bonding causing a slow motion component in the ESR spectra.©2021 The Authors.

Different systems have been used over the years to deliver drug particles to the human skin for pharmaceutical effect. Research has been done to improve the performance and flexibility of these systems. In recent years a unique system called the transdermal drug delivery has been developed. Transdermal drug delivery opened a new door in the field of drug delivery as it is more flexible and offers better performance than the conventional systems. The principle of this system is to accelerate drug particles with a high speed gas flow. Among different transdermal drug delivery systems we will concentrate on the contour shock tube system in this paper. A contoured shock tube is consists of a rupture chamber, a shock tube and a supersonic nozzle section. The drug particles are retained between a set of bursting diaphragm. When the diaphragm is ruptured at a certain pressure, a high speed unsteady flow is initiated through the shock tube which accelerates the particles. Computational fluid dynamics is used to simulate and analyze the flow field. The DPM (discrete phase method) is used to model the particle flow. As an unsteady flow is initiated though the shock tube the drag correlation proposed by Igra et al is used other than the standard drag correlation. The particle velocities at different sections including the nozzle exit are investigated under different operating conditions. Static pressure histories in different sections in the shock tube are investigated to analyze the flow field. The important aspects of the gas and particle dynamics in the shock tube are discussed and analyzed in details.

In existence of concerning magnetic field, heat together with mass transfer features on mixed convective copper-water nanofluid flow through inclined plate is investigated in surrounding porous medium together with viscous dissipation. A proper set of useful similarity transforms is considered as to transform the desired governing equations into a system as ordinary differential equations which are nonlinear. The transformed equations for nanofluid flow include interrelated boundary conditions which are resolved numerically applying Runge-Kutta integration process of sixth-order together with Nachtsheim and Swigert technique. The numerical consequences are compared together with literature which was published previously and acceptable comparisons are found. The influence of significant parameters like as magnetic parameter, angle for inclination, Eckert number, fluid suction parameter, nanoparticles volume fraction, Schmidt number and permeability parameter on concerning velocity, temperature along with concentration boundary layers remains examined and calculated. Numerical consequences are presented graphically. Moreover, the impact regarding these physical parameters for engineering significance in expressions of local skin friction coefficient in addition to local Nusselt together with Sherwood numbers is correspondingly examined.

Tuberculosis(TB)remains a leading cause of death among infectious diseases,particularly in poor *** infections,multidrug-resistant and ex-tensively drug-resistant TB strains,as well as the coexistence of chronic illnesses such as diabetes mellitus(DM)greatly aggravate TB morbidity and ***[particularly type 2 DM(T2DM)]and TB have converged making their control even more *** contemporary global epidemics,TB-DM behaves like a syndemic,a synergistic confluence of two highly prevalent diseases.T2DM is a risk factor for developing more severe forms of multi-drug resistant-TB and TB recurrence after preventive *** a bidirectional relationship exists between TB and DM,it is necessary to concurrently treat both,and promote recommendations for the joint management of both *** are also some drug-drug interactions resulting in adverse treatment outcomes in TB-DM patients including treatment failure,and *** addition,autophagy may play a role in these ***,the TB-DM comorbidities present several health challenges,requiring a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and integrated strategies,to effectively deal with this double *** effectively manage the comorbidity,further screening in affected countries,more suitable drugs,and better treatment strategies are required.

Mast cells are emerging as players in the communication between peripheral nerve endings and cells of the immune ***,it is not clear the mechanism by which mast cells communicate with peripheral *** previously found that mast cells located within healing tendons can express glutamate receptors,raising the possibility that mast cells may be sensitive to glutamate *** evaluate this hypothesis,we stimulated primary mast cells with glutamate and showed that glutamate induced the profound upregulation of a panel of glutamate receptors of both the ionotropic type(NmdAR1,NmdAR2A,and NmdAR2B)and the metabotropic type(mGluR2 and mGluR7)at both the mRNA and protein *** binding of glutamate to glutamate receptors on the mast cell surface was ***,glutamate had extensive effects on gene expression in the mast cells,including the upregulation of proinflammatory components such as IL-6 and *** also induced the upregulation of transcription factors,including Egr2,Egr3 and,in particular,*** extensive induction of FosB was confirmed by immunofluorescence *** receptor antagonists abrogated the responses of the mast cells to glutamate,supporting the supposition of a functional glutamate–glutamate receptor axis in mast ***,we provide in vivo evidence supporting a functional glutamate–glutamate receptor axis in the mast cells of injured ***,these findings establish glutamate as an effector of mast cell function,thereby introducing a novel principle for how cells in the immune system can communicate with nerve cells.

Background: Deregulation of the gut microbiota results in various pathological disorders such as diabetes, inflammation, cancer, dyslipidemia etc. Modulation of intestinal microbiota by probiotics may facilitate the management of a number of clinical conditions of diabetes. Methods: The present study was designed to investigate the effect of feeding low-fat probiotic yogurt containing L. acidophilus and L. bulgaricus on fructose-fed hyperglycemic rats. Yogurt containing L. acidophilus or L. bulgaricus (9.5 × 109 cfu/rat/day) alone or in combination of both strains was supplied orally for 8 weeks concurrently with 20% fructose solution. Fasting blood glucose (FBG), oral glucose tolerance test, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), lipid profiles from blood and histopathological study of liver tissues were analyzed to evaluate anti-diabetic effect. Statistical analysis was done by Graph Pad Prism software. Values at p 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: Administration of L. acidophilus or L. bulgaricus alone or in combination of both to hyperglycemic rats decreased serum FBG, onset of glucose intolerance, HbA1c, total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and VLDL-cholesterol, increased HDL-cholesterol levels significantly and preserved antioxidant pool such as activities of superoxide dismutase, catalase etc. Probiotic administration also prevented/repaired the oxidative damage of liver tissues. Conclusion: In conclusion, administration of yogurt containing L. acidophilus or L. bulgaricus that balanced the intestinal microbiota can prevent or lower risks of type-2 diabetes and its related complications.

Multi-objective optimization problem (MOOP) is an important class of optimization problem that ensures users to model a large variety of real world applications. In this paper an advanced transformation technique has been proposed to solve MOOP. An algorithm is suggested and the computer application of algorithm has been demonstrated by a flow chart. This method is comparatively easy to calculate. Applying on different types of examples, the result indicates that the proposed method gives better solution than other methods and it is less time consuming. Physical presentation and data analysis represent the worth of the method more compactly.
