Invasive micropapillary carcinomas (IMPC) of the breast account for less than 2% of all breast cancers and have been recently described as luminal B carcinomas. CD24, CD44, ALDH1 and EZH2 are commonly used as stem-cell markers that display differential expression as a function of stage and molecular type, but their pattern of expression according to this rare histological type remains poorly defined and unknown for EZH2. We assessed expression of these markers in a series of 28 micropapillary breast carcinomas and compared the results with those obtained in a series of luminal A (27 cases) and B (34 cases) invasive carcinomas not otherwise specified (IC-NST). CD24 and CD44 were expressed in most cases. However, CD24 was expressed at the inverted apical membrane in 85% of invasive micropapillary carcinoma and at the apical pole of gland-forming cells in 45% of luminal A (p-val = 6.8 × 10-4) and 13% of luminal B cases (p-val = 1.1 × 10-7). ALDH1 was expressed in the stroma in most tumors, but in only 25%, 11% and 15% in epithelial cells of IMPC, luminal A and B IC-NST, respectively. Nuclear expression of EZH2 was not observed in luminal A tumors, and was detected in 35% (12/34) of luminal B carcinomas (p-val = 6.1 × 10-3) and only 4% (1/28) of invasive micropapillary carcinomas. This series shows that invasive micropapillary carcinomas harbor a CD24-positive inverted apical pole associated with weak EZH2 expression, phenotypical characteristics that distinguish this entity from other luminal carcinomas.

Introduction: Skin aging is the result of many cellular dysfunctions over time particularly the fibroblasts and the keratinocytes. These dysfunctions could be decelerated by the preventive effects of some skin treatments such as Intradermal injections. NCTF 135HA has a polycomponent formulation designed to improve the efficacy of non-cross linked hyaluronic acid (as a micro-filler) on fibroblasts function. Although NCTF 135HA has been used by aesthetic practitioners since 20 years, we have analyzed all in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo studies during past 10 years in order to summarized its anti-aging effect. Methods: In these series of studies, the known effects of HA have been evaluated with this boosted formula. Collagen I synthesis, antiglycation effect and contractile forces developed by fibroblasts were studied. Fibroblasts and keratinocytes proliferations were evaluated in monolayer cells culture. The filling effect thanks to NCTF 135HA injection was ex vivo performed by fringe projection and the protective effect of NCTF 135HA against solar irradiation was performed ex vivo to study proliferation rate, elastin and collagen expression. Two clinical trials were performed on women to evaluate the anti-aging effect of NCTF 135HA injection. Hydration, firmness, radiance, wrinkles size, pore size, thickness and density of the dermis were analyzed. Results: Collagen I, anti-AGE products, cell proliferation and contractile forces were significantly increased with NCTF 135HA in culture medium. Ex vivo studies showed that NCTF 135HA increased, cells proliferation rate, elastin and collagen production. In addition, the filling effect of the NCTF 135HA is significantly superior to placebo. The first clinical trial shows that NCTF 135HA injection significantly increased tonicity, hydration and radiance of the skin and significantly decreased wrinkle score. Objectives： We analyzed polyphenol and antioxidant capacity in red wines Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Syrah varieties from wineries Calchaquies Valleys, in Salta, Argentine. Methods： The total polyphenols was determined by UV absorption at 280 nm evaluating the D280 index. The antioxidant capacity was analyzed by absorbance measured at 520 nm and 420 nm and the color intensity and the hue was calculated by its summation by its relation. Key findings： The results presented indexes D280 （phenolic content） that ranged from 43.3 to 55.7. The antioxidant capacity is evaluate by the color intensity of red wines measuring absorbance values at 420 and 520 nm that ranged from 0.60 to 1.09. There is correlation between phenolic content and antioxidant capacity with a correlation coefficient of 0.974. Conclusions： The total polyphenol content in red wines is correlated with their antioxidant capacity. It is beneficial to health if the wine is consumed in low quantities. The Cabernet Sauvignon variety has more phenolic content than Malbec, Tannat and Syrah varieties.

The use of botanical pesticides in pest management during storage against insects is often encouraged because synthetic insecticides produce undesired effects. Bark powder ofDrypetes gossweileri is used by farmers in pest management in Central Africa Republic. Hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and methanol were used for extraction bark powder by maceration. Insecticidal activity of the extracts was tested on Sitophilus zeamais, Tribolium castaneum and Rhy_-opertha dominica. The mortality rate, the number of surviving insects and the number of emerged insects were measured variables. Calculated mortality was obtained by applying Aboth＇s formula. The variables are submitted to variance analysis, model with four factors （plants, insects, doses and time） in Minitab 14. The results of analysis showed that the mortality rate has a very highly significant variation following extracts, doses, insects and time considered （P 〈 0.001）. Extracts with ethyl acetate and dichloromethane of D. gossweileri are effective against S. zeamais and R. dominica at high doses （1, 0.5, 0.250 g/10 mL of solvent）. These effective extracts were characterized by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Molecules such as l-isothiocyanatomethyl, thiocyanic acid, phenylmethyl ester and other were characterizated. These results may consolidate traditional use olD. gossweileri in pest management.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the sickle cell trait carriage is estimated at 25%. Routine neonatal screening is not a common practice, leading to a very late diagnosis. In this study, the screening of pregnant women was assessed as well as their attitudes. This is an analytical cross-sectional study conducted in 245 pregnant women, sampled by convenience in four hospitals in Kisangani city (Democratic Republic of Congo) and screened using the sickle SCAN® test, from February 1 to July 31, 2019. The sensitivity and specificity of the latter were determined using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry as the gold standard. The attitudes of 240 pregnant women without previous screening history were assessed upon the announcement of the results. The sensitivity of screening for hemoglobin (Hb) AA and Hb AS was 96.69% and 98.39%, respectively;while the specificities were 99.43% and 96.32%, respectively. The Kappa coefficient (κ) was excellent. Concerning attitudes, Hb SS pregnant women and 55.17% of AS pregnant women worried when the results relating to their hemoglobin status were announced. The sickle SCAN® test was found reliable for sickle cell disease screening in Kisangani. The announcement of the results, mainly positive, raises worry among pregnant woman. Therefore, we recommend the involvement of a clinician psychologist for pre-screening counselling and for results announcement, as well as early newborns and unmarried teenage girls screening.

This paper presents an automatic system for failure detection in hydro-power generators. The main idea of this system is to detect failure using current and voltage signals acquired without any type of internal interference in the generator operation. The detected failures could be mechanical or electrical origins, such as: problems in bearings, unwanted vibrations, partial discharges, misalignment, unbalancing, among others. It is possible because the generator acts as a transducer for mechanical problems, and they appear in current and voltage signals. This automatic system based on electric signature analysis has been installed in Itapebi Power Plant generators since 2012. Some results are presented in this paper.

A bad conservation of food is recognized as being one of the critical constraints upon food security among resource poor population across Africa. We have evaluated the traditional management of pests in fish in Central African Republic. The data were analyzed by a factor analysis of correspondence. The Group I contained sensitive species of fish to the attacks of Dermetes frishii, Dermetes lardarius and Dermestes carnivorus. There were: Labeocoubie, Mormyrus deliciosus, Polydactylus quadrifilis, Auchenoglanis occidentalis, Synodontis nigrita, Hydrocynus forskalli, Districhodus rostratus, Hydrocynus goliath and Mormyrusrume. The group II contained sensitive species of fishes to the attacks of D. maculatus. There were: Cyprinus carpio, Malapterurus electricus, Oreochromis mossambicus, Barbus occidentalis and Oreochromis mossambicus. Clariasgariecilus is the mostsensitive of dried fish to the attacks of Dermestes. Oreochromis mossambicus, Mormyrusrume and Synodontis nigrita are the last sensitive of dried fish to the attacks of Dermestes. The results showed that the tradictional management of dried fish in Central African Republic couldn’t be efficient for reducing the development of Dermestes.

The south-east of Cameroon encompasses a wide variety of geological structures among which we can cite the Congo Craton (CC), the Sanaga Fault (SF), the Yaoundé Domain, the Panafrican belt, the Protozoic series and the Dja complex. The presence of all these structures justifies the great tectonic activity to which this area was subject from the rupture of Pangea to the creation of the different plates that exist today. In this work, we will bring out a high-resolution structural map of the study area by applying the qualitative analysis of the phase filters on 200,900 points of gravimetric data obtained from the combination of the XGM2016 and ETOPO1 models. Then, with these same data, we will bring out another structural map with the maxima method called Multi-Scale Horizontal Derivative of Vertical Derivative (MSHDVD) which will be compared to the first in order to show the limits of the MSHDVD method. To do this, we will first use the extension method to highlight the map of residual anomalies, then a combination of derivative, gradient and phase filters to highlight the geological structures responsible for fracturing in this area. Phase filters have the advantage that they make it possible to highlight all the geological edges responsible for the fracturing without taking into account the depth, while the MSHDVD method highlights the existing geological contacts (edges) at depths well defined by the examiner. The structural map obtained with the MSHDVD method shows that the major structural direction in this zone is W-E while that obtained from the interpretation of the phase filters is more precise and shows that the major structural direction in this area would be N-S and this result would be in perfect agreement with the tectonics of East Cameroon.
