The lithium ionic conductingLa0.45Ce0.1Li0.27TiO3 has been synthesized by sol-gel method. This solid is the result of substitutional doping with Ce(iV) in La0.45Ce0.1Li0.27TiO3 compound. The aim of the replacement of La(iii) by Ce(iV) is increase the number of vacancies in the structure and favors the ionic mobility. structural characterization shows that the obtained material have the expected tetragonal P4/mmm perovskite structure. Chemical analysis shows that composition was homogeneus in all the sample. The bulk conductivity measured at room temperature is about the same as previously reported for its related lanthanum lithium titanate. However, the lower activation energy for ionic conduction encourages further searching for better conductors in this system.

AiM: To evaluate the cellular synthetic ability of cytokines involved in pro- and anti-inflammatory reactions in patients with ***: sixty-seven patients with AP (16 severe,51 mild) and 10 controls were included in the *** of whole blood were performed in samples obtained within the first 72 h from the onset of *** levels of interleukins (iL) 6, 8, 10, and TNF-α were measured at baseline and in the supernatant of cultures with (functional reserve) or without stimulation with ***: Basal levels of cytokines were significantly higher in patients with severe AP. A significant increase of all pro-inflammatory cytokines vs basal levels was observed in the supernatant after 24 h of whole blood cultures in patients, but not in controls. in contrast, iL-10 increased significantly in the supernatant of cultures only in patients with mild AP. Cells showed a statistically significant functional reserve for all iL in patients with mild, but only for pro-inflammatory cytokines in patients with severe ***: A marked activation of immune system may be observed in patients with AP, being balanced between pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines in patients with mild but not severe AP. A reduced functional reserve for the synthesis of iL-10 may be observed in patients with severe AP, which might lead to a worst prognosis.

This study aims to analyze temporal changes in land use and land cover change (LUCC) as well as identify areas for natural regeneration and potential areas for forest restoration in the Huasteca region for the period from 1976 to 2007. Changes were quantified in numbers and, additionally, cartography was used to identify and map the main affected areas. Different models based on Geographic information systems (Gis) demonstrated that LUCC have occurred on an area of 11718.82 km2, representing 17.84% of the region’s surface. Agriculture and the growth of pasture could be identified as the main human-induced activities that have led to landscape modification. in addition, forest cover is affected by a deforestation rate which is higher than the national average. Further important changes include a change from natural land cover to non-original land cover, affecting an area of 4911.88 km2 in the period from 1976-1993, and an area of 1892.5 km2 in the period from 1993-2002. smaller changes could be observed for the period from 1993-2002 with an affected area of 1029.78 km2. At the same time, a natural regeneration from nonoriginal to original land cover took place from 1976-1993 on an area of 1318.68 km2, and also on an area of 974.18 km2 between 1993 an 2002. The surface that underwent a natural regeneration of forest cover made up 1932.07 km2. At the same time, an area of 5739.29 km2 for potential forest restoration was identified. Drawing on Gis methods and techniques, the development of thematic maps for land use, land use and land cover changes for the years of analysis (1976-1993-2002-2007) proved to be very adequate for the evaluation and analysis of the land cover and land use change, in particular with regard to the decrease of natural vegetation cover.

本文介绍了用TMs320C25微处理器和高速矢量处理器TMC2310所设计的超高速可编程FFT处理系统。设计中采用TMs320C25和TMC2310构成主从结构,充分发挥这两种高速处理器的特点,使系统具有灵活的可编程控制能力。采用TMs320C25作为主控CPU,TMC2310的外围存储器设计成乒乓结构,可以使系统实现连续的FFT处理。该系统可以在53μs内完成128复数点FFT运算,在514μs内完成1024复数点FFT运算。这一速度指标此单片TMs320C30快7倍、比单片TMs320C25快20倍。

sorption and Fractionation of a Peat Derived Humic Acid by Kaolinite, Montmorillonite, and Goethite

sorption of humic acid (HA) on mineral surfaces has a profound interest regarding the fate of hydrophobic organic contaminants (HOCs) and carbon sequestration in soils. The objective of our study is to determine the fractionation behavior of HA upon sorption on mineral surfaces with varying surface properties. HA was coated sequentially on kaolinite (1:1 clay), montmorillonite (2:1 clay), and goethite (iron oxide) for four times. The unadsorbed HA fractions were characterized by elemental analysis, diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRiFT), and solid state 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). The mineral-HA complexes were characterized by DRiFT. Polarity index [(N+O)/C] revealed higher polarity of the unadsorbed HA fractions after coating on kaolinite, reflecting that relatively higher polarity fractions of HA remain unadsorbed. sorption of aliphatic alcohol fraction along with carbohydrate was prominent on kaolinite surface. DRiFT results of the unadsorbed HA fractions indicated more sorption of aliphatic moieties on both kaolinite and montmorillonite. DRiFT results of the unadsorbed HA fractions after sorption on kaolinite and goethite showed the sorption of the proteinaceous fractions of HA. The HA fractions obtained after coating on goethite showed significant sorption of carboxylic moieties. The results mentioned above comply reasonably well with the DRiFT spectra of the mineral-HA complexes. 13C NMR results showed higher sorption of anomeric C on kaolinite surface. Higher sorption of paraffinic fraction was observed on montmorillonite. NMR data inferred the sorption of carboxylic moieties on goethite surface. Overall, this study showed that aliphatic moieties of HA preferentially sorbed on kaolinite and montmorillonite, while carboxylic functional groups play a significant role in sorption of HA on goethite. interleukin-12 (iL-12) governs the Th1-type immune response, affecting the spontaneous and treatment-induced recovery from HCV-infection. We investigated whether the iL12B polymorphisms within the promoter region (4 bp insertion/dele tion) and the 3-UTR (1188-A/C), which have been reported to influence iL-12 s ynthesis, are associated with the outcome of HCV infection. We analyzed 186 indi viduals with spontaneous HCV clearance, 501 chronically HCV infected patients, a nd 217 healthy controls. iL12B 3-UTR and promoter genotyping was performed by T aqman-based assays with allele-specific oligonucleotide probes and PCR-based allele-specific DNA amplification, respectively. The proportion of iL12B pro moter and 3-UTR genotypes did not differ significantly between the different cohorts. However, HCV genotype 1-infected patients with high baseline viremia c arrying the iL12B3-UTR 1188-Callele showed significantly higher sustained viro logic response (sVR) rates (25.3%vs. 46%vs. 54.5%for A/A, A/C and C/C) due to reduced relapse rates (24.2%vs. 12%vs. zero %for A/A, A/C and C/C). iL12B 3 -UTR 1188-C-allele carriers appear to be capable of responding more efficient ly to antiviral combination therapy as a consequence of a reduced relapse rate. No association of iL12B polymorphisms and self-limited HCV infection could be d emonstrated.
