BACKGROUND Unroofed coronary sinus(UCS)is a rare subtype of atrial septal *** is frequently associated with a persistent left superior vena cava and is often part of a more intricate cardiac *** SUMMARY This report describes a rare case of an adolescent patient with UCS featuring atrial situs solitus,absence of the right superior vena cava and a persistent left superior vena cava draining into the left atrium consistent with total unroofing of the coronary *** was associated with concurrent severe mitral insufficiency secondary to redundant and prolapsing leaflets,and a substantial left-to-right shunt across the coronary sinus orifice.A comprehensive examination of the existing literature is included,shedding light on the diagnostic challenges of UCS and describing the available surgical options within the context of mitral valve *** UCS is a complex condition requiring careful consideration of associated anomalies and a tailored surgical approach.

The aim of the study is to conduct comprehensive experiments and developments of innovative technologies to produce the oil extract of amaranth for their application as food additives in the food industry. To achieve the aim, the following tasks were identified：（I） study the physicochemical, biochemical properties and the composition of amaranth seeds; （2） improving the methods for producing the oil extract of amaranth. This article is devoted to complex research of processes of manufacture of vegetable oils. Authors have developed scientific bases of improvement and an intensification of technological processes for production of oil from amaranth seeds. The authors have developed a new technology for extracting of oil from amaranth seeds using hexane as a solvent. The proposed method provides to obtain oil without great technical effort and keeps it all the nutrients that promote the highest taste of the product and with little labor and time costs.

In order to control traffic congestion, many mathematical models have been used for several decades. In this paper, we study diffusion-type traffic flow model based on exponential velocity density relation, which provides a non-linear second-order parabolic partial differential equation. The analytical solution of the diffusion-type traffic flow model is very complicated to approximate the initial density of the Cauchy problem as a function of x from given data and it may cause a huge error. For the complexity of the analytical solution, the numerical solution is performed by implementing an explicit upwind, explicitly centered, and second-order Lax-Wendroff scheme for the numerical solution. From the comparison of relative error among these three schemes, it is observed that Lax-Wendroff scheme gives less error than the explicit upwind and explicit centered difference scheme. The numerical, analytical analysis and comparative result discussion bring out the fact that the Lax-Wendroff scheme with exponential velocity-density relation of diffusion type traffic flow model is suitable for the congested area and shows a better fit in traffic-congested regions.

The aim of the present study was to provide a current survey of metazoan parasites of the Mediterranean garfish Belone belone gracilis Lowe, 1839 off Tunisian coast and their potential use as biological tags for discriminate stocks. Parasitological analysis of 453 specimens of B. b. gracilis along the eastern Tunisian coast revealed the presence of ten species of metazoan parasites: one monogenean Axine belones Abildgaard, 1794;four digeneansLecithostaphylus retroflexus (Molin, 1859), Tergestia acanthocephala (Stossich, 1887) Stossich, 1899, Aponurus laguncula Looss, 1907 and Condylocotyla pilodora(metacercaria) Pearson et Prévot, 1985;one copepod Bomolochus bellonesBurmeister, 1835;two isopods Irona nana Schioedte et Meinert, 1884 andNerocila orbignyi (Guérin-Méneville, 1832);1 acanthocephalan Telosentis exiguus (Von Linstow, 1901) and one nematod Anisakid larvae. Discriminant analysis using parasites as biological tags, allowed identifying two stocks ofB. b. gracilis. Digenea L. retroflexus, A. laguncula and Anisakid larvae were the most important species in determining the position of sampled fishes from the central coast off Tunisia. Metacercaria C. pilodora characterized specimens from the Southern coast off Tunisia. These results were corroborated by comparing parameters of prevalence and mean abundance between zones. Discriminant analysis used for the separation of B. b. gracilis between seasons in both localities showed that a seasonal variation affected mainly specimens from the center suggesting seasonal move of fishes.

“一带一路”倡议是由中国国家主席习近平于2013年9月在哈萨克斯坦提出,宣布中国将向参与该项目的国家提供对外融资和基础设施投资。主要提倡是建立连接世界上一些国家的海上和陆路贸易路线。“一带一路”被视为中国全球发展的重要战略方针,既涉及国际贸易通道的拓展,同时也涉及到对世界经济的发展作出了重要的贡献。南高加索地域在这一倡议中发挥着重要作用,原因是该地区被视为扩大交通网络的关键环节。自该政策正式宣布以来,该地区寄予厚望,原因是相关国家已预见到可利用其港口,公路和铁路起到连接中国和欧洲的作用。更准确地说,由于地缘政治原因,格鲁吉亚在此政策下可能提供更多价值。然而,南高加索地域将在这一提倡下能够发挥的各种具体作用尚未明确。作为回应,需要进一步分析和审查阻碍双方从该举措中获得更多共赢的关键因素。同时,需要从政治,经济和物流的的角度分析本质上决定中欧采用此地域作为中间桥梁的动机和优势。本文将以格鲁吉亚为重点,研究“一带一路”在南高加索地域的潜力。作为南高加索地域“一带一路”参与者国家之一,作者将分析格鲁吉亚的潜力,优势以及面临的挑战。最后,本研究还将提供格鲁吉亚在“一带一路”倡议下进一步提高中格关系的相关政治措施。

大米是一种重要的谷类作物，是世界上一半以上人口的主食。益生菌具有独特的生理功能，乳酸菌发酵通常能改善产品最终的保质期、质地、味道和香气。然而，利用能分解淀粉的乳酸菌发酵谷物，开发乳酸菌发酵谷物饮料的研究报道较少。本文的研究目的是在大米淀粉中筛选得到具有分解淀粉能力的乳酸菌，将其成功地应用生产一种方便的功能性大米饮料，并对产品的营养和消费者接受能力进行评价。实验以29株植物乳杆菌为对象，以已知的具有分解淀粉能力的LactobacillusPlantarum A6为对照菌，通过测定其在大米淀粉中分解淀粉的能力进行筛选。结果表明21株菌有分解大米淀粉的能力，其中10株菌分解能力很高，达到0.30μ U/mL。对菌的生长能力、可滴定酸度、pH、还原糖和有机酸的研究发现只有4株菌能在液体培养基中能生长，12h后菌数达到7.0-10.6cfu/mL，pH低于4.5。发酵过程中乳酸产量在5.98mg/mL和8.16mg/mL之间，乙酸产量在3.47mg/mL和5.90mg/mL之间，且在12-24h内产生比乳酸更多的乙酸。Lactobacillus Plantarum Z4具有最大的还原糖残余率。*** Z4和Lactobacillus Plantarum CS在含有大米粉和添加大豆浓缩蛋白的发酵饮料中生长最佳且淀粉分解能力高。将菌株作为单一发酵剂以10%的接种量发酵，在每种饮料中0h时菌数量达到6cfu/mL。生产得到的饮料主要在有机酸浓度、活细菌数、营养成分、氨基酸、矿物质含量、黏度、脱水作用、挥发性化合物和感官值方面存在差异。大多数乳酸菌数目在发酵12h能达到最大值（8.5-10.9log cfu/mL），pH低于4.5。*** Z4和L. Plantarum A6能利用麦芽糖和葡糖糖作为C源，而L. Plantarum CS只利用葡萄糖。通过L. Plantarum Z4和L. Plantarum A6发酵的饮料营养成分相差很大，通过L. Plantarum Z4发酵得到的饮料中蛋白、糖、能量含量更高且必需氨基酸尤其是赖氨酸和蛋氨酸是高度增强的。使用定量描述分析和感官剖面分析表明，用*** Z4制作的饮料比其他饮料有更好的外观和粘度。小组成员更喜欢用*** Z4发酵的饮料而不喜欢用菌CS发酵的饮料。接种L. Plantarum Z4在相同饮料中，在温度4℃下储存30天，存活的细胞数目也达到8cfu/ml。已开发的乳酸菌发酵大米淀粉饮料可以被认为是一种很有前途的新型功能性食品，L. Plantarum Z4可作为一种良好的发酵剂。

Prevalence and Socio-Demographic Determinants of Unintended Pregnancy among Women Attending Antenatal Clinic in Thyolo District, Malawi

Background: Unintended pregnancies remain a public health problem. Unintended pregnancies continue to be a leading predisposing factor to the high total fertility rate, high maternal and child health morbidity and mortality. Unintended pregnancies lead to unsafe abortion and poor health-seeking behavior, especially among young and poor women. Knowledge of associated factors can help to design and implement appropriate interventions. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the prevalence and socio-demographic factors associated with unintended pregnancy among women attending antenatal clinic (ANC) at Thyolo District Hospital in Malawi. Methodology: It was a quantitative cross-sectional study. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews with 396 women using a questionnaire. Systematic random sampling was used to recruit study participants. STATA version 13 package was used for univariate descriptive statistics, and logistic regression for bivariate and multivariate data analysis. Results: Slightly over half (54%) of women attending the antenatal clinic at Thyolo District Hospital had an unintended pregnancy. Unintended pregnancy was more likely to be reported among women of less than 20 years, education below secondary school level, marriage before 20 years, and polygamous relationships. In addition, families relying on farming alone other than employment or business were more likely to have an unintended pregnancy. Primgravidity and having no living child were also significantly associated with unintended pregnancy. Conclusion: Prevalence of unintended pregnancy is a health burden in Thyolo. Strategies to keep the girl child in school and delay marriage could address this challenge. Increasing access to effective contraceptive methods for the youth could mitigate the problem.

With the growing need for renewable energy,wind farms are playing an important role in generating clean power from wind *** best wind turbine architecture in a wind farm has a major influence on the energy extraction *** paper describes a unique strategy for optimizing wind turbine locations on a wind farm that combines the capabilities of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and artificial neural networks(ANNs).The PSO method was used to explore the solution space and develop preliminary turbine layouts,and the ANN model was used to fine-tune the placements based on the predicted energy *** proposed hybrid technique seeks to increase energy output while considering site-specific wind patterns and topographical *** efficacy and superiority of the hybrid PSO-ANN methodology are proved through comprehensive simulations and comparisons with existing approaches,giving exciting prospects for developing more efficient and sustainable wind *** integration of ANNs and PSO in our methodology is of paramount importance because it leverages the complementary strengths of both ***,this novel methodology harnesses historical data through ANNs to identify optimal turbine positions that align with the wind speed and direction and enhance energy extraction efficiency.A notable increase in power generation is observed across various *** percentage increase in the power generation ranged from approximately 7.7%to 11.1%.Owing to its versatility and adaptability to site-specific conditions,the hybrid model offers promising prospects for advancing the field of wind farm layout optimization and contributing to a greener and more sustainable energy future.
