Knowledge Management(KM)has become a dynamic concept for inquiry in *** management of knowledge from multiple sources requires a systematic approach that can facilitate capturing all important aspects related to a particular discipline,several KM frameworks have been designed to serve this *** research aims to propose a Collaborative Knowledge Management(CKM)Framework that bridges gaps and overcomes weaknesses in existing *** paper also validates the framework by evaluating its effectiveness for the agriculture sector of Pakistan.A software LCWU aKMS was developed which serves as a practical implementation of the concepts behind the proposed CKMF *** aKMS served as an effective system for rice leaf disease detection and *** aimed to enhance CKM through knowledge sharing,lessons learned,feedback on problem resolutions,help from co-workers,collaboration,and helping *** were collected from 300 rice crop farmers by questionnaires based on *** Olfman model was used to estimate the effectiveness of *** tests were performed including frequency measures of variables,Cronbach’s alpha reliability,and Pearson’s *** research provided a KMS depicting KM and collaborative *** disease detection module was evaluated using the precision and recall method and found to be 94.16%*** system could replace the work of extension agents,making it a cost and time-effective initiative for farmer betterment.

Comparison of the effect of carbon,halloysite and titania nanotubes on the mechanical and thermal properties of LDPE based nanocomposite films

In this study, titania nanotubes （TNTs） were prepared by hydrothermal method with the aim to compare the properties of these one-dimensional tubular nanostructures＇ reinforced nanocomposites with the carbon and halloysite nanotubes＇（CNTs and HNTs, respectively） reinforced nanocomposites. Low density polyethylene （LDPE） was used as the matrix material. The prepared nanocomposites were characterized and compared by means of their morphological, mechanical and thermal properties. SEM results showed enhanced interracial interaction and better dispersion of TNTs and HNTs into LDPE with the incorporation of a MAPE compatibilizer, however, these interactions seem to be absent between CNTs and LDPE, and the CNTs remained agglomerated. Contact angle measurements revealed that CNT filled nanocomposites are more hydrophilic than HNT composites, and less than TNT composites. CNTs provided better tensile strength and Young＇s modulus than HNT and TNT nanocomposites, a 42% increase in tensile strength and Young＇s modulus is achieved compared to LDPE. Tear strength improvement was noticed in the TNT composites with a value of 35.4 N. mm -1, compared to CNT composites with a value of 25.5 *** 1 -s- 1. All the prepared nanocomposites are more thermally stable than neat LDPE and the best improvement in thermal stability was observed for CNT reinforced nanocomposites. CNTs depicted the best improvement in tensile and thermal properties and the MAPE compatibilizer effective- ness regarding morphological, mechanical and thermal properties was only observed for TNT and HNT systems.

Possibility of Enhancing Digital Health Interoperability in Uganda through FAIR Data

The digital health landscape in Uganda is plagued by problems with interoperability and sustainability, due to fragmentation and a lack of integrated digital health solutions. This can be partly attributed to the absence of policies on the interoperability of data, as well as the fact that there is no common goal to make digital data and data infrastructure interoperable across the data ecosystem. The promulgation of the FAIR Guidelines in 2016 brought together various data stewards and stakeholders to adopt a common vision on data management and enable greater interoperability. This article explores the potential of enhancing digital health interoperability through FAIR by analysing the digital solutions piloted in Uganda and their sustainability. It looks at the factors that are currently hindering interoperability by examining existing digital health solutions in Uganda, such as the Digital Health Atlas Uganda(DHA-U) and Uganda Digital Health Dashboard(UDHD). The level of FAIRness of the two dashboards was determined using the FAIR Evaluation Services tool. Analysis was also carried out to discover the level of FAIRness of the digital health solutions within the dashboards and the most frequently used software applications and data standards by the different digital health interventions in Uganda.

FAIR Equivalency with Regulatory Framework for Digital Health in Uganda

This study explores the possibility of opening a policy window for the adoption of the FAIR Guidelines—that data be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable(FAIR)—in Uganda’s e Health sector. Although the FAIR Guidelines were not mentioned in any of the policy documents relevant to Uganda’s e Health sector, the study found that 83% of the documents mentioned FAIR Equivalent efforts, such as the adoption of the National Identification Number(NIN) as a unique identifier in Uganda’s national Electronic Health Management Information System(e HMIS)(findability), the planned/ongoing integration of various information systems(interoperability), and the alignment of various projects with international best practices/standards(reusability). A FAIR Equivalency Score(FE-Score), devised in this study as an aggregate score of the mention of the equivalent of FAIR facets in the policy documents, showed that the documents at the core of Uganda’s digital health/e Health policy have the highest score of all the documents analysed, indicating that there is a degree of alignment between Uganda’s National e Health Vision and the FAIR Guidelines. Therefore, it can be concluded that favourable conditions exist for the adoption and implementation of the FAIR Guidelines in Uganda’s e Health sector. Hence, it is recommended that the FAIR community adopt a capacity building strategy through organisations with a worldwide mandate, such as the World Health Organization, to promote the adoption of the FAIR Guidelines as part of international best practices.

版画是一种随着时间的推移而发展的古老技术。它在不同的国家和时代发展。每种文化都对其发展产生了影响,版画也带动了各国文化的发展。本论文的观点肯定版画仍然是一项重要且有价值的技术,即使在数字技术迅速发展的今天。本文强调实验性版画在当代艺术中的独特价值。在通过背景资料、不同技术和个人实践探索了版画和数字印刷相关材料后,我提出了一个想法和问题:“在艺术媒介如此多样的今天,版画扮演什么角色?为什么它仍然有价值?”。基于这个问题,研究和论证的主题是版画的写实和变型的呈现,以及版画作为一种艺术形式在当今存在和广泛使用的合理意义和证据。通过一些案例的分析,可以说现在的版画是一种现代的、实验性的艺术形式。本论文从对古代时代的反思开始,当时版画只是一种必要且方便的技术。版画由古而化于今,本文的目的,不仅在于研究昔日版画变迁的全过程,也在于论证其运用至今,并指出其适宜有利条件,因此,版画继续其活动并与当今的数字世界一起发展。这篇论文的目的是证明版画在当代仍然具有相关性与价值。因此,论文呈现了几个不同的观点:1版画的重估及其当代用途的确认,2版画在几个世纪以来转型的展示,包括不同时代和技术的重要艺术家,3版画的实验性和多流派性质,4版画的各个方面和争论与数字印刷同时存在,指出了他们截然不同的作品的基础。最后,也是最重要的一点,就是确认我们今天所知道的版画不仅仅是一种技术,而是作为一种独立的、单独的重要艺术形式存在。

Antihyperglycemic and hepatoprotective properties of miracle fruit(Synsepalum dulcificum) compared to aspartame in alloxan-induced diabetic mice

Objective: This study was undertaken to investigate the antihyperglycemic potential of miracle fruit(MF)as well as its hepatic safety as compared to aspartame in alloxan-induced diabetic ***: MF extracts were prepared and screened for their phytochemical composition using highperformance liquid chromatography(HPLC). Total phenolic, flavonoid and tannin contents and antioxidant potential were also determined. Additionally, MF was evaluated for its sensory attributes. For in vivo work, MF ethanol extract at high(MFH: 500 mg/kg body weight [BW]) and low(MFL: 250 mg/kg BW) doses as well as aspartame were injected intraperitoneally into alloxan-induced diabetic *** glucose levels were determined following acute and subchronic treatment. At the end of the study,animals were sacrificed, serum was collected for biochemical analysis and liver tissues were obtained for histopathological ***: MF ethanol extract contained more flavonoids and tannins, and had higher 1,1-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging activity(79.61%) compared to MF aqueous extract(P < 0.05). HPLC analysis of MF ethanol extract also revealed the presence of 10 antioxidants with quercetin comprising the major polyphenol. Additionally, sensory analysis of MF showed that its intake is effective in masking undesirable sourness. Subchronic administration of MFH proved amelioration of hyperglycemia in mice as compared to aspartame. Moreover, aspartame treatment significantly elevated(P < 0.05) the level of alanine aminotransferase and had destructive effects on the liver histopathology;however, hepatic architecture was restored by low and high doses of ***: MF is an effective antihyperglycemic with hepatoprotective properties that can be used as a healthier alternative sweetening agent in place of aspartame for sour beverages.

Emerging resistance vs. losing response to immune check point inhibitors in renal cell carcinoma: two differing phenomena

The introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) has revolutionized the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) and has dramatically improved the outcomes of patients. The use of monotherapy or combinations of ICIs targeting PD-1/PD-L1 and CTLA-4, as well as the addition of ICIs with tyrosine kinase inhibitors, has significantly enhanced the overall survival of mRCC patients. Despite these promising results, there remains a subset of patients who either do not respond to treatment (primary resistance) or develop resistance to therapy over time (acquired resistance). Understanding the mechanisms underlying the development of resistance to ICI treatment is crucial in the management of mRCC, as they can be used to identify new targets for innovative therapeutic strategies. Currently, there is an unmet need to develop new predictive and prognostic biomarkers that can aid in the development of personalized treatment options for mRCC patients. In this review, we summarize several mechanisms of ICI resistance in RCC, including alterations in tumor microenvironment, upregulation of alternative immune checkpoint pathways, and genetic and epigenetic changes. Additionally, we highlight potential strategies that can be used to overcome resistance, such as combination therapy, targeted therapy, and immune modulation.

Hybrid surfactant-nanoparticles assisted CO_(2) foam flooding for improved foam stability:A review of principles and applications
