Effect of substrate rotation speed on structure and properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films prepared by rf-sputtering

Al-doped ZnO(AZO)thin films were deposited on glass substrates by rf-sputtering at room *** effects of substrate rotation speed(ωS)on the morphological,structural,optical and electrical properties were *** transversal images show that the substrate rotation produces dense columnar structures which were found to be better defined under substrate *** images show that the surface particles of the samples formed under substrate rotation are smaller and denser than those of a stationary one,leading to smaller grain *** results show that all films have hexagonal wurtzite structure and preferred c-axis orientation with a tensile stress along the *** average optical transmittance was above90%in UV-Vis *** lowest resistivity value(8.5×10?3Ω·cm)was achieved atωS=0r/min,with a carrier concentration of1.8×1020cm?3,and a Hall mobility of4.19cm2/(V·s).For all other samples,the substrate rotation induced changes in the carrier concentration and Hall mobility which resulted in the increasing of electrical *** results indicate that the morphology,structure,optical and electrical properties of the AZO thin films are strongly affected by the substrate rotation speed.

Natural killer(NK)cell-mediated antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC)through CD16 plays a critical role in antihuman immunodeficiency virus(HIV)responses.1–3 CD300a is a surface receptor highly expressed on NK cells that has the capacity to inhibit NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity in healthy donors.4 The CD300a molecule has been related to several viral infections and is able to diminish the NK cell killing of pseudorabies-infected cells through interactions with its ligands phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine.5 In addition,CD300a expression on B and CD4+T lymphocytes is altered during HIV-1 infection,and combined antiretroviral therapy(cART)does not restore nonpathological expression levels.5,6 However,the expression and function of CD300a on NK cells during HIV-1 infection is still *** have determined the surface expression of CD300a on different NK cell subsets and the capacity of this receptor to inhibit CD16-induced NK cell effector functions in healthy and HIV-1 infected individuals.

Background:Refractive errors are among the most frequent reasons for demand of eye-care *** on refractive errors prevalence in our country are *** study has the purpose to assess the prevalence of refractive errors in an adult population of Villa maria,Córdoba,***:The Villa maria Eye Study is a population-based cross-sectional study conducted in the city of Villa maria,Córdoba,Argentina from May 2008 to November ***’s aged 40+received a demographic interview and complete ophthalmological *** acuity was obtained with an ETDRS *** auto refraction was *** spherical equivalent was highly correlated between right and left eyes,so only data of right eyes are *** and hyperopia were defined with a±0.50 diopters(D)criterion and astigmatism>1 ***:This study included 646 subjects,aged 40 to 90(mean age:59.6±10.3 years old).Four hundred and sixty two(71.5%)were *** mean spherical equivalent was+0.714±2.41 D(range,-22.00 to+8.25 D)and the power of the cylinder was,on average,-0.869±0.91 D(range,0 to-6.50 D).In this sample,61.6%subjects were hyperopic,and 13.5%were *** prevalence was lower in men(9.8%versus14.9%)but this difference among genders was not statistically *** were 141 subjects(21.8%)with anisometropia greater than 1 D,and 168 subjects(26.0%)with astigmatism greater than 1 ***:The present study shows the prevalence of cycloplegic refractive errors in an adult population of *** prevalence of hyperopia was high,while myopia prevalence was very low.
