Piráis a reading com.rehension dataset focused on the ocean,the Brazilian coast,and clim.te change,built from.a collection of scientific abstracts and reports on these *** dataset represents a versatile language resource,particularly useful for testing the ability of current m.chine learning m.dels to acquire expert scientific *** its potential,a detailed set of baselines has not yet been developed for Pirá.By creating these baselines,researchers can m.re easily utilize Piráas a resource for testing m.chine learning m.dels across a wide range of question answering *** this paper,we define six benchm.rks over the Pirádataset,covering closed generative question answering,m.chine reading com.rehension,inform.tion retrieval,open question answering,answer triggering,and m.ltiple choice question *** part of this effort,we have also produced a curated version of the original dataset,where we fixed a num.er of gram.ar issues,repetitions,and other ***,the dataset has been extended in several new directions,so as to face the aforem.ntioned benchm.rks:translation of supporting texts from.English into Portuguese,classification labels for answerability,autom.tic paraphrases of questions and answers,and m.ltiple choice *** results described in this paper provide several points of reference for researchers interested in exploring the challenges provided by the Pirádataset.

The Antarctic Paleogene m.rine fossil record has been the key to reconstructing the evolution of the Weddellian Sea and final dism.m.erm.nt of Southern *** this context,Eocene m.rine vertebrates from.Seym.ur(m.ram.io)Island have provided valuable *** present the first Eocene record of m.rine reptiles from.the southern Atlantic Coast of South *** corresponds to several postcranial turtle rem.ins represented by a proxim.l end of the right hum.rus,three caudal and one thoracic vertebrae,a fragm.nt of the left pubis,and ten ossicles of the dorsal carapace,com.ng from.the Leticia Form.tion(late-m.d Eocene)at Cabo Tiburones,Tierra del Fuego,*** m.terials show severalfeatures such as the size and general m.rphology of the hum.rus and vertebrae,and the presence of relatively sm.ll,irregular,sm.oth,and unkeeled ossicles,which allow us to assign them.to Derm.chelyidae *** are a cosm.politan group ofcryptodiran turtles,registered from.the late Cretaceous up to the recent,with som. physiological-biological peculiarities(e.g.,endotherm. and an exclusive jellyfish-based diet)and characterized by the presence of an osseous carapace form.d by *** new finding from.the Leticia Form.tion is an addition to the scarce and extrem.ly fragm.ntary record of Eocene derm.chelyids from.the southern seas like those from.the La m.seta and Subm.seta form.tions(Antarctica)and the Waihao and Burnside form.tions(New Zealand).This new inform.tion allows us to discuss the presence of these turtles in such high latitudes in the past and its im.lication in the evolution of the Weddellian fauna.

objective:The aim.of this study was to assess the relative efficacy of m.dications used following severe acute respiratory syndrom. coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on self-reported alterations in taste and/or sm.ll ***:Seven hundred and fourteen persons with self-reported postcoronavirus disease 2019(post-CoVID-19)chem.sensory disorders were personally interviewed regarding specific m.dications they were adm.nistered following the acute phase of the *** dependent m.asure—self-reported total recovery of chem.sensory sym.tom.—was subjected to stepwise logistic *** predictors included dem.graphic and clinical variables,in addition to specific m.dications used to m.tigate disease sym.tom.(i.e.,system.c corticosteroids,oseltam.vir,vitam.n C,ibuprofen,hydroxychloroquine,azithrom.cin,iverm.ctin,nitazoxanide,anticoagulants,and zinc).Results:The m.dian tim. between CoVID-19 sym.tom.onset and the interviews was 81 days(interquartile range:60-104).of the 714 subjects,249(34.9%)reported total recovery of their chem.sensory function;437(61.2%)had at least one treatm.nt since the beginning of the *** and those with m.re com.rbidities had undergone m.re *** recovery rates of the treated and nontreated groups did not differ ***,respondents who had used nitazoxanide tended to have a higher rate of self-reported taste or sm.ll *** who took oral zinc were less likely to ***:No m.dication em.loyed during the first m.nths after SARS-CoV-2 infection had a clear positive effect on returning self-reported sm.ll or taste function to norm.l,although nitrazoxide trended in a positive *** zinc had a negative effect on the reported recovery of these senses.

Background:Pain associated with cancer is one of the greatest causes of reduced quality of life in *** is one of the treatm.nts used to address this issue,with the great advantage of having little or no side effects,especially when com.ared with pharm.cological ***:The aim.of this system.tic review and m.ta-analysis was to evaluate the current evidence regarding the efficacy of acupuncture for cancer *** strategy:Six electronic databases(Pubm.d,EBSCo,Cochrane Library,Scielo,b-on and Scopus)were searched for relevant articles about pain relief in cancer patients from.their beginning until 2022using m.SH term. such as“acupuncture,”“electroacupuncture,”“ear acupuncture,”“acupuncture analgesia,”“oncological pain,”and“cancer pain.”Inclusion criteria:Studies included were random.zed controlled trials(RCTs)where acupuncture was com.ared with no treatm.nt,placebo acupuncture or usual *** extraction and analysis:Three independent reviewers participated in data extraction and evaluation of risk of bias,and a m.ta-analysis was *** prim.ry outcom. was pain intensity,m.asured with the visual analog scale,num.ric rating scale,or brief pain *** outcom.s also assessed were quality of life,functionality,xerostom.a,pain interference,and analgesic *** were expressed as standardized m.an difference(Sm.)with 95%confidence interval(CI).Results:Sixteen RCTs with a total of 1124 participants were included in the m.ta-analysis,with the m.jority of the studies presenting a low or unclear risk of *** was m.re effective in reducing pain than no treatm.nt(Sm.=–0.90,95%CI[–1.68,–0.12]),sham.acupuncture(Sm.=–1.10,95%CI[–1.59,–0.61])or usual care(Sm.=–1.16,95%CI[–1.38,–0.93]).Conclusion:The results of this study suggest that acupuncture m.y be an effective intervention to reduce pain associated with *** som. lim.tations due to the low quality and sm.ll sam.le size of som. included st
