An oil-based drilling fluid should be stable and tolerant to high temperatures for use in deep drilling. An invert emulsion of water in oil is a good choice as an oil- based drilling fluid which is a mixture of a solid phase and two immiscible liquid phases stabilized by a polymeric surfactant. In deep drilling, due to high temperatures, the polymeric surfactant degrades and a phase separation occurs. Here, octadecyltrimethoxysilane-modified silica nanoparticles were used to form a stable invert emulsion of water in oil for the drilling fluid model which resulted in a milky fluid with the formation of 60 gm water droplets. In addition, rheological study showed that using hydrophobic silica nanoparticles resulted in a stable water in oil invert emulsion with desired properties for a drilling fluid that can be modified by adjusting the nanoparticle nature and content. Aging experiments at 120 ℃ indicated that they also have good stability at high temperatures for challenging drilling operations.

Helicobacter pylori(***) is an important major cause of peptic ulcer disease and gastric malignancies such as mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma and gastric adenocarcinoma *** treatment still remains a challenge,since many determinants for successful therapy are involved such as individual primary or secondary antibiotics resistance,mucosal drug concentration,patient compliance,side-effect profile and *** no new drug has been developed,current therapy still relies on different mixture of known antibiotics and anti-secretory agents.A standard triple therapy consisting of two antibiotics and a proton-pump inhibitor proposed as the first-line *** quadruple treatment,sequential treatment or a non-bismuth quadruple treatment(concomitant) are also an alternative *** containing triple treatment are recommended as rescue treatment for infection of *** after defeat of first-line *** rapid acquisition of antibiotic resistance reduces the effectiveness of any regimens involving these ***,adding probiotic to the medications,developing *** photodynamic or phytomedicine therapy,and achieving a successful *** vaccine may have the promising to present synergistic or additive consequence against ***,because each of them exert different effects.

Background: Treeline dynamics have inevitable impacts on the forest treeline structure and composition. The present research sought to estimate treeline movement and structural shifts in response to recent warming in Cehennemdere, Turkey. After implementing an atmospheric correction, the geo-shifting of images was performed to match images together for a per pixel trend analysis. We developed a new approach based on the NDVI, LST(land surface temperature) data, air temperature data, and forest stand maps for a 43-year period. The forest treeline border was mapped on the forest stand maps for 1970, 1992, 2002, and 2013 to identify shifts in the treeline altitudes, and then profile statistics were calculated for each period. Twenty sample plots(10 × 10 pixels) were selected to estimatethe NDVI and LST shifts across the forest timberline using per-pixel trend analysis and non-parametric Spearman’s correlation analysis. In addition, the spatial and temporal shifts in treeline tree species were computed within the selected plots for four time periods on the forest stand maps to determine the pioneer tree ***: A statistically significant increasing trend in all climate variables was observed, with the highest slopein the monthly average mean July temperature(tau = 0.62, ρ < 0.00). The resultant forest stand maps showed a geographical expansion of the treeline in both the highest altitudes(22 m–45 m) and the lowest altitudes(20 m–105 m) from 1970 to 2013. The per pixel trend analysis indicated an increasing trend in the NDVI and LST values within the selected plots. Moreover, increases in the LST were highly correlated with increases in the NDVIbetween 1984 and 2017(r = 0.75, ρ < 0.05). Spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of ropinirole content in pharmaceutical dosage forms

Two simple and rapid spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods were described for the determination of ropinirole hydrochloride content in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Both methods are based on the reaction of ropinirole hydrochloride and eosin Y in aqueous medium at p H 4.0. Quenching of the fluorescence intensity of eosin Y at 540 nm upon excitation at 350 nm was used for the determination of ropinirole hydrochloride levels after ion-pair complex formation. Also, the absorbance increase of eosin Y at 546 nm after ion-pair complex formation was used for spectrophotometric measurements. Both methods showed linear relationships between the fluorescence quenching or absorbance increase and ropinirole concentration in the range of 6–150 μg/m L and 50–500 μg/m L for spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods, respectively. As no organic solvents were used in these two methods, they could be categorized as green analytical methods. Both methods were accurate(Error<1.2%) and precise(CV<1.9%), as shown by statistical analysis results. Both methods were used for determination of ropinirole hydrochloride content in pharmaceutical dosage forms without any significant interference from associated impurities.

Predictors of readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm infants: The role of stress, self-efficacy and perceived social support

Objective:To determine the predictive role of stress,self-efficacy,and perceived social support on readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm ***:The present cross-sectional,descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 120 mothers of preterm infants admitted to hospitals affiliated to Lorestan University of Medical Sciences,Iran in *** were selected by a convenience sampling method and based on inclusion *** collection tools included the demographic questionnaire of mothers and infants,parent perceptions of their child's hospital discharge,parental stressor scale:neonatal intensive care unit,perceived maternal parenting,and multidimensional scale of perceived social *** were analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression at the significance level of ***:Infant behavior and appearance,situational belief,and family support achieved the highest mean score from parents'stress,self-efficacy,and perceived social support dimensions,*** was a significant relationship between stress,self-efficacy,and perceived social support with readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm infants(P<0.001).The score of mothers'readiness for discharge decreased by 0.07 per 1-point increase in stress score,and the score of readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm infants rose by 0.35 and 0.43,respectively,for a unit increase in the scores of self-efficacy and perceived social ***:Stress,self-efficacy,and perceived social support can be considered as predictors of readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm *** is suggested that nurses in neonatal intensive care units provide a better platform for the readiness for discharge in mothers of preterm infants by reducing stressors and increasing maternal self-efficacy and social support.

The electronic and optical characteristics of the Sc2 CoSi Heusler with L21 structure and also the surface effect on electronic and optical properties, and the ?lms thermodynamic stability of the [001] direction in four cases including:Sc-Sc, Sc-Co, Sc-Si and Co-Si terminations are studied using the ?rst principles calculations(FPLAPW) within the framework of the density functional theory(DFT). The band structure calculations represent the ferromagnetic halfmetallic properties with 100% spin polarization and 0.54 e V indirect gap in spin down for Sc2 CoSi bulk with optimized lattice parameters of 6.25 A?. The total magnetic moment obtained for this compound is-1.0 μB, which is in accordance with Slater-Pauling rule. The half-metallic(HM) behavior by 100% spin polarization at Fermi level is occurred in the Sc-Si termination with a 0.32 eV gap in down spin. The optical responses have been calculated for the bulk and ScSi termination by a red shift in these parameters and the metallic treatments have been increased. According to the thermodynamic phase diagrams, it is shown the Sc-Si and Sc-Sc terminations are more stable than other terminations.
