Laser-induced forward transfer(LIFT)is a direct-writing technique capable of depositing a single dot smaller than the laser wavelength at small shot energy through the laser-induced dot transfer(LIDT)*** deposit a single nanodot in a single shot of laser irradiation,a liquid nanodrop is transferred from donor to receiver and finally solidified via a solid–liquid–solid(SLS)*** conventional LIDT experiments,multi-shots with step scanning have been used to form array ***,interference laser processing can achieve an arrayed process and generate a periodic structure in a single *** this study,a femtosecond laser interference pattern was first applied to LIDT,and an array of nanodots was successfully deposited in a single shot,producing the following unit structures:a single dot,adjoining dots,and stacking *** diameter of the smallest nanodot was 355 nm,and the narrowest gap between two adjoining nanodots was 17.2 *** LIDT technique produces high-purity,catalyst-free that do not require post-cleaning or alignment *** these significant advantages,LIDT can expand the usability of nanodots in a wide range of fields.

Many psychogenic issues trigger issues in children, such as refusal to attend school or bullying. That is to say, there are risks of serious problems occurring, such as suicide or mental illness, when such stress is a relatively large factor in that person’s life and they are unable to adapt thereto. Therefore, with this research, we sought to clarify the relationship between lifestyle habits and the seven stress responses of depression, anxiety, anger, emotional responses, seclusion, physical fatigue, and hyperactivity of the autonomous nervous system, and based on our results, we investigated the ways in which school nurses can support younger students who experience such psychogenic issues. The subjects of our investigation included 341 university students (123 males and 218 females). We had the subjects complete a measurement of their degrees of stress and a survey about their lifestyle habits. The results indicated that the higher the stress level, lifestyle rhythms were disturbed, especially with regards to diet, and that there were differences between males and females as well. The results also suggested that the higher the stress level, the less amount of rest. This research revealed that increased stress leads to disturbances in lifestyle habits. Some examples of ways in which school nurses can support students include creating an environment in which it is easier for younger students to talk to school nurses, conducting health consultation activities in coordination with teachers and relevant organizations, and ascertaining information regarding the circumstances of younger students. Thus, it is thought that building better lifestyle habits will make it easier to cope with stress, thereby leading to better balance in mental and physical health.

Background: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was long considered to be limited to children and adolescents, but it is now known that ADHD symptoms may persist into adulthood. It is plausible that the etiology of ADHD is not one-dimensional, but instead involves various neuroanatomical and neurochemical systems, with the causes of the main abnormalities believed to be catecholaminergic. Iodine-123-labeled meta-iodobenzylguanidine (123I-MIBG) is a physiological analogue of norepinephrine (NE). To the best of our knowledge, there are no reports about the abnormalities of MIBG scintigraphy in patients with ADHD. The cases presented are male adult patients with different comorbid psychiatric disorders. Case presentation: The cases presented are male adult patients with different psychiatric disorders. Case 1 was a 52-year-old male residential construction foreman, who had been diagnosed with acute schizophrenia-like psychotic disorder. 123I-MIBG planar and SPECTs of the studies were performed at 20 min (early phase) and 3 h (late phase) after intravenous injection of 111 MBq. Planar images were processed to determine the heart (H) to mediastinum (M) ratio (H/M). The early and late H/M ratios were 1.22 and 1.07, respectively. Case 2 was a 52-year-old male civil servant who was diagnosed with adjustment disorder. The early and late H/M ratios were 1.98 and 2.08, respectively. Conclusion: Clinical studies make it clear that symptoms of ADHD are more heterogenous and subtle in adults than children. Adult ADHD is significantly commorbid with wide range of other 12-month disorders. MIBG imaging can be useful to diagnose patients with preexisting psychiatric disorders and ADHD. It might be possible to diagnose objectively though the psychiatric statuses resemble or coexist with other psychiatric disorders. Needless to say, further research is important.

Ileal schwannoma developing into ileocolic intussusception

Intussusception is rare in adults. We describe a 47-year-old man with ileal schwannoma that led to ileocolic intussusception. Abdominal ultrasonography,abdominal CT scan and barium enema confirmed an ileal tumor. Colonoscopy revealed a peduncular submucosal tumor (SMT) 75 mm long with an ulcerated apex at the ascending colon. The provisional diagnosis was a gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the terminal ileum. Ileocecal resection was carried out and the tumor was histologically diagnosed as schwannoma. Abdominal pain resolved postoperatively. This case reminds us that ileal schwannoma should be included in the differential diagnosis of intussusception caused by an SMT in the intestine.

Microwave-induced substitutional combustion reaction was utilized to fabricate porous ceramic composite from Fe_3O_4/Al powder *** porous composite body was obtained by controlling the combustion reaction progress in a 2.45 GHz single mode *** to the fabrication of the porous body,heating behavior of the powder mixtures were studied in the separated electric(E)and magnetic(H)*** addition,heating ability of the microwave fabricated porous product was also ***_3O_4 powder can be heated up easily in both maximum H and E field, but a better heating was observed in the maximum H *** of the mixtures ratio(mixing compositions), maximum H field shows better heating *** E-field heating,temperature of the Fe_3O_4 samples decreased sharply when Al powder was ***,the same phenomenon was not observed in the maximum H field heating. Thus,fabrication of the porous composite body was carrying out in maximum H *** an adequate control of the reaction progress,products with a porous structure consisting of well-distributed metal particles in the alumina and/or hercynite matrix were ***,heating of the fabricated porous composite body was also been successfully carried out in the maximum H *** phases and microstructure were the main factors influencing the heating ability of the porous composite body.

Review of the Depression Rate among Pregnant Women during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Purpose: To determine the incidence of depression among pregnant women during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: A literature search was conducted on July 2022 through PubMed, CINAHL, MEDLINE, CiNii, and the Japan Medical Abstract Society using the keywords “COVID-19”, “Pregnant Women” and “Depression”. The titles/abstracts were screened based on three selection criteria: 1) inclusion of pregnant women;2) description of depression;3) description of COVID-19. Results: Of the 213 articles that were extracted, 104 were excluded owing to duplication and 14 were excluded because they comprised other article types, including reviews and commentaries. Finally, 49 were excluded by title, abstract, and full-text screening. Among the 46 articles that met the inclusion criteria, 13 articles (28.3%) were from China, 8 (17.4%) were from Turkey, 4 (8.7%) were from the United States, and 3 (6.5%) were from Japan. The most common scales used to measure depression were the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) used in 18 articles (39.1%), followed by the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) used in 11 articles (23.9%). Furthermore, 46 sources reported a suspected depression rate of 30.0% (20,338/67,860 pregnant women). The rate of depression was 15.1% - 33.5% using EPDS ≥ 9 in three articles and 12.0% - 43.2% using EPDS ≥ 13 in nine articles. The five articles using PHQ-9 ≥ 5 reported 25.8% - 48.7%, and seven articles reported 5.3% - 59.2% using PHQ-9 ≥ 10. Conclusion: Depression was a concern for one out of every three to four pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic. This suggests that depression among pregnant women during COVID-19 might have worsened, highlighting the need for mental health support for them.

Purpose: This purpose of the study was to investigate the factors both risk and protective associated with depression among pregnant women during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: A literature search was conducted on July 2022, through PubMed, CINAHL, MEDLINE, CiNii, and the Japan Medical Abstract Society databases, with the keywords “COVID-19”, “pregnant women”, and “depression”. The titles/abstracts were screened based on three selection criteria: 1) inclusion of pregnant women;2) description of depression;and 3) description of the factors associated with depression among pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic. Results: Of the 213 articles extracted, 104 were excluded owing to duplication, and 14 were excluded because they comprised other article types, including reviews and commentaries. Finally, 40 were excluded by title, abstract, and full-text screening. Among the 45 articles for a total of 59,329 pregnant women that met the inclusion criteria, the risk factors were “distress from COVID-19-related experiences”, “reduced/low income”, “unemployment”, “anxiety”, “history of mental illness”, “lack of social support”, and “reduced/no exercise”. The protective factors “greater/increased social support”, “higher education level”, “higher resilience”, and “healthy lifestyle behaviors” were much less frequently reported than risk factors, and none were reported to be relevant for Japanese pregnant women. Conclusion: The findings indicate that preventive interventions should begin during pregnancy with a focus on these risk factors. In addition, the protective factors need to be strengthened. Further research is required to identify the protective factors associated with depression among Japanese pregnant women.

BackgroundTo compare the arithmetic mean (M-SIA) and the summated vector mean of surgically induced astigmatism (SVM-SIA) according to the incision site after phakic intraocular lens (Visian implantable collamer lens (ICL), STAAR Surgical) *** study comprised 121 eyes of 121 consecutive patients undergoing ICL surgery through a 3.0-mm temporal or superior clear corneal incision. The magnitude and the axis of corneal astigmatism preoperatively and 3 months postoperatively were measured using an automated keratometer. The M-SIA and the SVM-SIA were determined according to the incision *** magnitude of corneal astigmatism significantly increased from 1.23 ± 0.59 D preoperatively to 1.46 ± 0.72 D postoperatively in the temporal incision group (Wilcoxon signed-rank test, P < 0.001), but it significantly decreased from 1.09 ± 0.36 D preoperatively to 0.86 ± 0.41 D postoperatively in the superior incision group (P < 0.001). The M-SIA was 0.48 ± 0.30 D, and the SVM-SIA was 0.23 ± 0.52 D at a meridian of 82° in the temporal incision group. The M-SIA was 0.57 ± 0.30 D, and the SVM-SIA was 0.47 ± 0.45 D at a meridian of 1° in the superior incision *** implantation induces the M-SIA by approximately 0.5 D, but the SVM-SIA decreased to 50% and 80% of the M-SIA in magnitude through temporal and superior incisions, respectively. The direction of the SVM-SIA showed a tendency toward corneal flattening to the incisional site. It should be noted that the M-SIA is somewhat different from the SVM-SIA according to the incision site.
