Big data and information and communication technologies can be important to the effectiveness of smart *** on the maximal attention on smart city sustainability,developing data-driven smart cities is newly obtained attention as a vital technology for addressing sustainability ***-time monitoring of pollution allows local authorities to analyze the present traffic condition of cities and make *** to air pollution occurs a main environmental problem in smart city *** effect of the deep learning(DL)approach quickly increased and penetrated almost every domain,comprising air pollution ***,this article develops a new Coot Optimization Algorithm with an Ensemble Deep Learning based Air Pollution Prediction(COAEDL-APP)system for Sustainable Smart *** projected COAEDL-APP algorithm accurately forecasts the presence of air quality in the sustainable smart city *** achieve this,the COAEDL-APP technique initially performs a linear scaling normalization(LSN)approach to pre-process the input *** air quality prediction,an ensemble of three DL models has been involved,namely autoencoder(AE),long short-term memory(LSTM),and deep belief network(DBN).Furthermore,the COA-based hyperparameter tuning procedure can be designed to adjust the hyperparameter values of the DL *** simulation outcome of the COAEDL-APP algorithm was tested on the air quality database,and the outcomes stated the improved performance of the COAEDL-APP algorithm over other existing systems with maximum accuracy of 98.34%.

AIM: To investigate the effects of methyl palmitate and lutein on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced acute lung injury(ALI) in rats and explore the possible mechanisms. METhODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups:(1) control;(2) LPS;(3) Methyl palmitate; and(4) Lutein groups. Methyl palmitate(300 mg/kg, ip) was administered 3 times per week on alternating days while lutein(100 mg/kg, oral) was given once daily. After 1 wk of vehicle/methyl palmitate/lutein treatment, ALI was induced by a single dose of LPS(7.5 mg/kg, iv). After 24 h of LPS injection, animals were sacrificed then biochemical parameters and histopathology were assessed. RESULTS: Treatment with methyl palmitate attenuated ALI, as it significantly decreased the lung wet/dry weight(W/D) ratio, the accumulation of the inflammatory cells in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) andhistopathological damage. however, methyl palmitate failed to decrease lactate dehydrogenase(LDh) activity in BALF. On the other hand, lutein treatment produced significant anti-inflammatory effects as revealed by significant decrease in accumulation of inflammatory cells in lung, LDh level in BALF and histopathological damage. Methyl palmitate and lutein significantly increased superoxide dismutase(SOD) and reduced glutathione(GSh) activities with significant decrease in the lung malondialdehyde(MDA) content. Importantly, methyl palmitate and lutein decreased the level of the inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in the lung. Lutein also reduced LPS-mediated overproduction of pulmonary nitrite/nitrate(NO-2/NO-3), which was not affected by methyl palmitate pretreatment. CONCLUSION: These results demonstrate the potent protective effects of both methyl palmitate and lutein against LPS-induced ALI in rats. These effects can be attributed to potent antioxidant activities of these agents, which suppress inflammatory cell infiltration and regulated cytokine effects.

Objective:To green synthesize and characterize copper nanoparticles(Cu NPs)using Astragalus sinicus,as well as evaluate the acaricidal,larvacidal,and repellent activities of Cu NPs against hyalomma anatolicum(***),one of the most prevalent ticks infesting cattle in Saudi ***:Cu NPs were green synthesized by adding the Astragalus sinicus extract to a copper sulfate *** acaricidal,larvicidal,and repellent activities of Cu NPs against *** were assessed via the adult immersion test,the larval packet test,and the vertical movement behavior of tick larvae,*** effects of Cu NPs on acetylcholinesterase as well as oxidative enzyme activities were ***:The green synthesized Cu NPs displayed a spherical form with a size range of 15-75 *** exposure of adult *** to different concentrations of Cu NPs,the viability rate of adult *** and the mean number,weight,and hatchability of eggs were noticeably reduced,in comparison to the control group(Phe viability rate of larvae considerably declined(Ph the LC_(50)and LC_(90)values of 11.30 and 20.34μg/m L,*** maximum repellent activity of Cu NPs was observed at 50,100,and 200μg/m L with complete repellent activity after 60,120,and 180 min of exposure,*** NPs,mainly at 1/2 LC_(50)and LC_(50)concentrations,markedly suppressed the acetylcholinesterase activity of the larval stage of ***(Phyde level while declining glutathione-S-transferase level in *** larvae(Phow potent acaricidal,larvicidal,and repellent activities against adults and larvae of ***,further studies must be performed to clarify the precise mechanisms and the efficacy of Cu NPs in practical use.

The in-situ measurements of the ionospheric plasma that we use come from two instruments of the scientific payload of the satellite DEMETER; the plasma analyser IAP （Instrument d＇analyse du plasma） and the Langmuir probe ISL （Instrument Sonde de Langmuir）. DEMETER is a micro-satellite realized by the CNES（Centre National d＇Etudes Spatiales, France） with a principal objective to seek a possible influence of the seismic activity on the electromagnetic waves in the ionosphere and on the ionospheric plasma. The satellite was placed on June 29, 2004, in a circular and quasi helio-synchronous orbit at -710 km altitude. The experiments function primarily at mid-latitudes （from ＋60° to -60°）. The IAP data were analysed to deduce the ion population （densities of the dominant ions, i.e. generally O^＋, h^＋ and he^＋） therefore the total ion density. The use of data IAP thus requires some precaution to make sure that the electric equilibrium conditions of the satellite, such as the satellite potential （Фsat）, are obtained during the treatment of routine, does not induce an error of measurement. When this potential is negative, the minority light ions h^＋ and he^＋ can be measured in a reliable way when their proportion is above 3% to 5% of that of O^＋. The critical limitation is： under certain conditions, the satellite potential becomes positive and reach a value about -0.5 V so that it becomes impossible to measure h^＋ ions. This is likely to involve a significant error on the composition and the density of the plasma. Therefore we carried out a calibration to estimate the missing density. The ISL experiment （Langmuir probe） provided the collected current/polarized tension characteristics of a cylindrical probe from which both electron density Ne and temperature Te were obtained. Serotonin is one of the significant signaling molecules used by several neural systems in the gut and brain. This study aimed to develop a novel and potent tracer for targeting, detecting, and imaging serotonin receptors(5-hTRs), which is a promising tool in the determination of the receptor’s function and relationship with the diseases related to serotonin and its receptor dysfunction. Serotonin was effectively labeled via a direct electrophilic substitutional reaction using an oxidizing agent such as iodogen with 125I in a neutral medium, and 125I-serotonin was achieved with a maximum labeling yield of 91 ± 0.63% with in vitro stability up to 24 h. Molecular modeling was conducted to signify 125I-serotonin structure and confirm that the radiolabeling process did not affect serotonin binding ability to its receptors. Biodistribution studies show that the maximum gastro intestinal tract uptake of 125I-serotonin was 17.8 ± 0.93% ID/organ after 30 min postinjection and the tracer’s ability to pass the blood–brain barrier. Thus, 125I-serotonin is a promising single photon emission computed tomography tracer in the detection of 5 hTRs.

AIM：To determine the possibility of the development of dry eye disease（DED） as a result of persistent infection with Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum in the conjunctiva of ***： This study was conducted on 58 patients of age range 20-50 y,diagnosed with DED confirmed by Schirmer I test and tear breakup *** non-dry eye control group included 27 subjects of the same *** specimens were collected as conjunctival scrapings and swabs divided into three groups： the first used for bacterial culture,the second and third taken to detect Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum by direct fluorescent antibody（DFA） assay and polymerase chain reaction（PCR） method. RESULTS： Chlamydia trachomatis was detected in 65.5% and 76% of DED patients by DFA and PCR methods *** urealyticum was found in 44.8% of DED infected patients using the PCR *** organisms were identified in only 37.9% of DED patients found to be *** subjects had a 22%detection rate of Chlamydia trachomatis by DFA assay versus a 7% detection rate by PCR; while Ureaplasma urealyticum was detected in 3.7% of the controls by PCR *** conjunctival culture revealed that gram positive microorganisms represented 75% of isolates with coagulase negative Staphylococci the most common（50%） followed by Staphylococcus aureus（20%）,whereas gram negative microorganisms occurred in 25% of cases,isolating Moraxella *** the most frequent organism. CONCLUSION： Our results tend to point out that Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum were detected in a moderate percentage of patients with DED,and could be a fair possibility for its *** is more reliable in detecting Chlamydia trachomatis than DFA *** presence of isolated conjunctival bacterial microflora can be of some potential value.

Characterization of Wheat Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Markers Associated with the h11 hessian Fly Resistance Gene

In Tunisia, the hessian fly Mayetiola destructor Say is a major pest of durum wheat （Triticum durum Desf.） and bread wheat （T. aestivum L.）. Genetic resistance is the most efficient and economical method of control of this pest. To date, 31 resistance genes, designated h1-h31, have been identified in wheat. These genes condition resistance to the insect genes responsible for virulence. Using wheat cultivars differing for the presence of an individual hessian fly resistance gene and random amplified polymorphic DNA （RAPD） analysis, we have identified a polymorphic 386-bp DNA marker （Xgmib1-1A.1） associated with the h11 hessian fly resistance gene. Blast analysis showed a high identity with a short region in the wild wheat （T. monococcum） genome, adjacent to the leaf rust resistance Lr10 gene. A genetic linkage was reported between this gene （Lr10） and hessian fly response in wheat. These data were used for screening hessian fly resistance in Tunisian wheat germplasm. Xgmib1-1A.1-like fragments were detected in four Tunisian durum and bread wheat varieties. Using these varieties in hessian fly breeding programs in Tunisia would be of benefit in reducing the damage caused by this fly.

In this article, we employ the perturbed Fokas-Lenells equation(FLE), which represents recent electronic communications. The Riccati-Bernoulli Sub-ODE method which does not depend on the balance rule is used for thefirst time to obtain the new exact and solitary wave solutions of this equation. This technique is direct, effective and reduces the large volume of calculations.

This paper deals with the problem of the state estimation and the sensor faults detection for nonlinear perturbed systems described by Takagi-Sugeno （T-S） fuzzy models with unmeasurable premise variables. Indeed, a T-S observer is synthesized, in descriptor form, to estimate both the system states and the sensor faults simultaneously. The idea of the proposed approach is to introduce the sensor fault as an auxiliary variable in the state vector. Besides, the T-S model with unmeasurable premise variables is reduced to a perturbed model with measurable variables. Convergence conditions are established with Lyapunov theory and the h∞ performance in order to guarantee the best robustness to disturbances. These conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. The parameters of the observer are computed using the solution of the LMI conditions. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the design procedures. Simulation results show the satisfactory performances.
