AIM： To analyze the relationship between perisinusoidal stellate cell （PSC） activation and the dietary fat quantity and composition in the treatment of hepatic steatosis. METHODS： Using an experimental rat model of steatosis based on the intake of a hyperlipidic diet （14% fat as olive oil or sunflower oil, HL-O and HL-S, respectively）, we analyzed the liver＇s capability of recovery after the treatment with a normal-lipidic diet （5% fat as olive oil or sunflower oil, NL-O and NL-S, respectively） by immunoo/tochemical and Western blot analysis of glial fibrillary acidic protein （GFAP） expression in PSCs, collagen quantification and serum aminotransferase determination. RESULTS： The fatty infiltration in the steatotic livers decreased after the treatment with both NL diets, indicating liver recovery. This decrease was accompanied with a lower collagen deposition and aminotransferase level as well as changes in the PSC population that increased the GFAP expression. The above-mentioned effects were more pronounced in animals fed on NL-O based diet. CONCLUSION： Treatment with a balanced diet enriched in olive oil contributes to the liver recovery from a steatotic process. The PSC phenotype is a marker of this hepatic-recovery model.

We discuss a novel window to probe the origin of our universe via the mass functions of primordial black holes(PBHs).The mass functions of PBHs are simply estimated using the conventional Press-Schechter formalism for two paradigms of cosmic origin,including inflationaryΛCDM and bounce *** standard inflationaryΛCDM model cannot generate an appreciable number of massive PBHs;however,non-trivial inflation models with blue-tilted power spectra at small scales and matter bounce cosmology provide formation mechanisms for heavy PBHs,which in turn,may seed the observed supermassive black holes(SMBHs).By fitting the SMBH mass functions at high redshift(z~6)derived from Sloan Digital Sky Survey(SDSS)and Canada-France High-z Quasar Survey(CFHQS)quasars,for two paradigms of cosmic origin,we derive constraints on the PBH density fraction fPBHat z~6 and the characteristic mass M_(★),with the prior assumption that all SMBHs stem from *** demonstrate that this newly proposed procedure,relying on astronomical measurements that utilize deep-field surveys of SMBHs at high redshift,can be used to constrain models of cosmic ***,although not the main focus of this paper,we evolve the mass function from z~6 to z~0 through an assumption of 3×10^(8)-year Eddington’s accretion,and give a rough estimation of fPBHat z~0.

Arroyo Verde epithermal deposit,in the North Patagonia region of Argentina,is located within the Lower Chon Aike volcanism and is developed between 192.6±2.5 ma(mineralization host rock)and 189.5±2.6 ma(overlying lava).marifil volcanic complex is the host rock for these veins,veinlets and *** particular small deposit has developed low to intermediate sulphidation characteristics,with gangue mineral textures associated with several ore *** probe microanalysis determines electrum,silver minerals such as acanthite,and tetrahedrite,related Ag-Cu minerals like jalpaite,mckinstryite,stromeyerite,and base metals like chalcopyrite,sphalerite,galena and *** inclusions in quartz of two out of five events indicate that these Low Jurassic veins were formed due to subtle boiling and dilution mechanisms and by low-salinity(3.4 wt.%to 6.7 wt.%NaCl Eq)magmatic-hydrothermal fluid at 225 to 310℃.The fluid inclusion measurements that indicate boiling(Event 3)were plotted,and based on this data,we interpret that the Arroyo Verde deposit has been eroded between 550 and 700 *** particular character has not been previously recorded for other sectors of the eastern north Patagonian region.

To find if ornamental plants are applicable to the remediation of metal-polluted areas, the tolerance of chrysanthemum plants （Chysanthemum maximum） var. Shasta to different metals under hydroponic conditions was studied. Their responses as influenced by the mycorrhizal fungus Glomus mosseae （Nicol. ＆ Gerd.） Gerdemann ＆ Trappe BEG25 on substrates containing mine residues were also investigated. Our results showed that chrysanthemum is a metal-tolerant plant under hydroponic conditions, plants behaving as Pb-excluders, whereas Cd, Cu and Ni were accumulated in roots. Low accumulation in flowers was observed for Cd and Cu but it was concentration-dependent. Ni and Pb were not translocated to flowers. Shoot biomass was not significantly affected by the different rates of mine residue addition for both mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal plants. Mycorrhizal plants accumulated less Pb and Cu in both shoots and roots than non-mycorrhizal plants. Chysanthemum could be a prospective plant for revegetation of tailings and the use of inoculation may decrease plant metal accumulation in polluted soils.

Objectives: Personal beliefs about illnesses have received increasing interest because these cognitions help to explain and predict preventive and therapeutic coping efforts, adjustment to a disease and health outcomes. We sought to explore and compare non-specialised illness representations of hypertension among adults never suffering from hypertension who had and had not lived with hypertensive patients. Design: Hypertension representations were explored in a community-based, convenient sample of normotensive Spanish adults of both genders from different educational backgrounds and with different family experience with this illness. Method: An adapted Illness Perception Questionnaire-R was used to assess such perceptions among healthy people in nine dimensions: Identity, Time-line, Consequences, Personal Control, Treatment Control, Illness Coherence, Evolution, Emotional Representations and Causes. Results: The participants’ beliefs mixed accurate and folk knowledge, while gender, age and education level had little impact, family experience (having or not having a relative with hypertension) strongly determined the content of hypertension representations. Participants with family experience held significantly stronger beliefs of controllability of the disease, both by patients and treatments, considered the disease as less stable and reported a lower emotional impact when thinking on suffering from hypertension. Family experience was the only significant predictor of illness cognitions. Conclusions: This study allowed us to know the perceptions of hypertension among non-patients and healthy relatives of patients. Our findings are useful in designing interventions aimed at hypertension prevention, particularly considering family experience with the disease.

目的探讨经二代测序确诊的GRIN2A基因变异所致癫痫失语疾病谱患儿的临床表型特征及基因变异特点。方法回顾性分析2019年2月至2022年11月郑州大学附属儿童医院神经内科确诊的5例以癫痫起病的癫痫失语疾病谱患儿的临床资料,采用二代测序方法对先证者进行全外显子基因组测序,证实5例均为GRIN2A基因变异患儿,并通过一代Sanger测序对家系成员进行验证以确认变异来源,对GRIN2A基因变异特点进行分析。结果5例确诊为GRIN2A基因变异所致癫痫失语疾病谱的患儿中,男女比例为4∶1,起病年龄范围为1.5~4.4岁。临床表型均有癫痫发作,4例有语言及智能发育落后;3例共患有注意力缺陷多动障碍;癫痫发作表现为局灶性发作或继发全面性发作;应用抗癫痫药物均得到有效控制。5例患儿中例1的基因变异源于父亲杂合变异,例2~5均为新发变异,分别为c.2107C>T(***703*)无义变异、c.2284G>A(***762Arg)错义变异、c.2197del(***733Glnfs*3)移码变异、c.2511G>A(***837*)无义变异、c.1651+1G>C剪切位点变异。经查阅文献,5例的基因变异位点均未见相关报道。结论癫痫失语疾病谱是一种起病复杂的癫痫综合征,不同基因变异位点可能有不同表型,发作形式以局灶性发作为主,部分可继发全面性发作,应用抗癫痫药物能够有效控制发作。GRIN2A基因变异为癫痫失语疾病谱的遗传学病因。

目的探讨原发性肺腺癌常见驱动基因变异与患者临床特征及病理分型之间的相关性。方法回顾性分析山东省潍坊市人民医院2015年1月至2021年12月首次确诊为原发性肺腺癌的病例4995例。因1983例标本病理分型评估局限,3012例进行了驱动基因变异与病理分型相关性分析,分别分析其与浸润性非黏液性腺癌、浸润性黏液腺癌等病理分型的相关性及与形态学高、中、低分化的相关性。采用二代测序检测患者肿瘤组织样本表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)、KRAS、间变性淋巴瘤激酶(ALK)、RET、ROS1、MET、HER2、BRAF驱动基因变异情况。结果患者男性2384例,女性2611例。在临床特征分析中,肺腺癌EGFR、ALK变异多见于≥60岁女性患者,EGFR在临床分期Ⅰ期突变率(25.80%)高于其他分期突变率(P0.05)。在病理分型分析中,相较于其他7个基因,1899例腺泡型腺癌中EGFR突变率最高(67.30%),其中在浸润性黏液腺癌及浸润性非黏液性腺癌中外显子21 L858R、外显子19缺失为主要突变位点,在微乳头型中外显子20 T790M的突变率(11.63%)较高。在浸润性黏液腺癌中,KRAS总突变率检测最高(43.80%),其中外显子2 G12D、外显子2 G12V在腺泡型、实体型和浸润性黏液腺癌中突变率组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。KRAS各位点在低分化组比高~中分化组突变率高(P<0.05)。HER2突变多发生在浸润性非黏液性腺癌的腺泡型、乳头型和微浸润性腺癌中。BRAF在微浸润性腺癌中突变率高于其他类型(P<0.05)。结论原发性肺腺癌中EGFR、ALK、KRAS、HER2、RET变异与患者年龄、吸烟史及临床分期有关,且在不同的病理亚型中驱动基因变异有所不同。在浸润性非黏液腺癌中以EGFR突变为主,在浸润性黏液腺癌中以KRAS突变为主。
