GLTSCR1, ATM, PPPIR13L and CD3EAP Genetic Variants and Lung Cancer Risk in a Chinese Population

Genetic variants in glioma tumor suppressor candidate region gene 1 （GLTSCR1） and ATM serine/threonine kinase （ATM） have been associated with various cancer risks. Epidemiological studies also revealed the association of variants of GLTSCR1 and ATM genes with different brain tumors. However, little is known about the relationship between both gene polymorphisms and lung cancer risk. We conducted a Chinese hospital-based casecontrol study involving 384 lung cancer cases and 387 cancer-free controls. No significant differences in the single polymorphism （GLTSCR1 rs1035938 and ATM rs11212592） association were found in five genetic models （co-dominant, dominant, recessive, overdominant and log-additive models）（adjusted by smoking duration）. Join effect of three SNPs （PPPIR13L rs1970764, CD3EAP rs967591, GLTSCR1 rs1035938） on chromosome 19q 13.3 showed that the designated haplotype2 （rs 1970764 G-rs967591 A-rs 1035938 C） [OR （95% CI）=1.60 （1.11-2.32）, P=0.012] and haplotype8 （rs 1970764 G-rs967591 G-rs 1035938 T） [OR （95% CI）=2.45 （1.17-5.12）, P=0.018] were associated with increased risk of lung cancer （adjusted by smoking duration）. The analysis ofmultifactor dimensionality reduction revealed that two 3-way models were the best fit models in analyses of 2 loci （P〈0.001） or 4 loci （P=0.015-0.016）. The entropy-based analysis indicated the strongest synergistic effect between PPPIR13L rs1970764 and ATM rs11212592 in analysis of four genes. In conclusion, our study suggests that haplotypes consisting of PPPIR13L rs1970764- CD3EAP rs967591-GLTSCR1 rs1035938 on Chr19q13.3, interaction of smoking and GLTSCR1 rs1035938-ATM rs11212592, and synergistic action of PPPIR13L rs1970764 and ATM rs 11212592 may associate with lung cancer risk in the Chinese population.

A Precipitation Detection Method for MWTS-Ⅱ Radiance Assimilation in Typhoon Simulation

FY-3C Microwave Temperature SounderⅡ(MWTS-Ⅱ)lacks observations at 23.8 GHz,31 GHz and 89 GHz,making it difficult to remove the data contaminated by precipitation in *** this paper,a fast forward operator based on the Community Radiative Transfer Model(CRTM)was used to analyze the relationship between the observation minus background simulation(O-B)and the cloud fractions in different MWTS-Ⅱ*** addition,based on the community Gridpoint Statistical Interpolation(GSI)system,the radiation brightness temperature of the MWTS-Ⅱwas assimilated in the regional Numerical Weather Prediction(NWP)*** the process of assimilation,Visible and Infrared Radiometer(VIRR)cloud detection products were matched to MWTS-Ⅱpixels for precipitation *** typhoon No.18 in 2014,impact tests of MWTS-Ⅱdata assimilation was carried *** results show that,though the bias observation minus analysis(O-A)of assimilated data can be reduced by quality control only with|O-B|maller while the precipitation detection is performed with Fvirrmake the simulated track closer to the *** 72-hour typhoon track simulation error also shows that,after the precipitation detection,the error of simulated typhoon track is significantly reduced,which reflects the validity of a precipitation detection method based on a double criterion of|O-B|<3 K and Fvirr<0.9.

Composition of stable isotope in precipitation and its influences by different vapor sources in the eastern Qilian Mountains

To better understand the process of precipitation and water cycle, the composition of stable isotope in precipitation and its influences by different vapor sources in the eastern of Qilian Mountains were conducted from June 2013 to may 2014. The total of 100 precipitation samples were collected in Wushaoling national meteorological station located in the eastern of Qilian Mountains. The analysis indicates that the slope of Local Meteoric Water Line is lower than that of Global Meteoric Water Line. The average values of δ18 O and δD in precipitation are higher in summer but lower in winter. Except for negative correlation with relative humidity, the stable isotope values in precipitation are positive correlations with temperature, precipitation and water vapor pressure. Influenced by water vapor source, the values of d-excess are lower for the Westerly wind and the South Asia Monsoon onJuly and the Westerly wind and the East Asia Monsoon on August, but they are higher for the Westerly wind on other months, that they are also influenced by the weather conditions in rainfall process. The variation of stable isotope in precipitation exhibited significant temperature effect, and there is also some precipitation amount effect in spring and summer.

Synthesis and biological evaluation of 2,4-diaminopteridine derivatives as nitric oxide synthase inhibitor

A series of novel 2,4-diamino-pteridines （9a-l） were synthesized and evaluated as inhibitors of inducible nitric oxide synthase （iNOS） in vitro. It was found that 9a, 9d, 9e, 9h, 9i and 91 showed potent inhibitory activities similar to that of methotrexate （MTX）, while the activities of 9b, 9c, 9f, 9g, 9j and 9k are stronger than MTX.

Huge primary dedifferentiated pancreatic liposarcoma mimicking carcinosarcoma in a young female: A case report

BACKGROUND Pancreatic liposarcoma is a rare tumor. According to a literature review, the patient described in this study is the seventh case of pancreatic liposarcoma reported in the English literature and the third case of dedifferentiated liposarcoma. Furthermore, this case had the largest primary tumor volume, and a primary pancreatic liposarcoma was diagnosed based on sufficient evidence. CASE SUMmaRY We here report a rare case of a 28-year-old female with a huge dedifferentiated liposarcoma in the pancreatic tail. In June 2015, the patient underwent distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy. During the operation, a huge liposarcoma of approximately 28.0 cm × 19.0 cm × 8.0 cm was found, which had a yellow and white fish-like incisal surface. Based on both pathology and MDM2 gene amplification, the tumor was diagnosed as a dedifferentiated liposarcoma. The patient was treated with surgery but declined postoperative chemotherapy. She was well at the 26-mo follow-up, and no relapse was observed. CONCLUSION Pancreatic liposarcoma has a low incidence. Chemotherapy should be included in the treatment regimens. Complete resection is the only effective treatment.

Long-term deformation analysis of Shuibuya concrete face rockfill dam based on response surface method and improved genetic algorithm

Due to the size effects of rockfill materials, the settlement difference between numerical simulation and in situ monitoring of rockfill dams is a topic of general *** constitutive model parameters obtained from laboratory triaxial tests often underestimate the deformation of high rockfill ***, constitutive model parameters obtained by back analysis were used to calculate and predict the long-term deformation of rockfill *** of using artificial neural networks (ANNs), the response surface method (RSM) was employed to replace the finite element simulation used in the optimization *** 27 training samples were required for RSM, improving computational efficiency compared with ANN, which required 300 training *** can be used to describe the relationship between the constitutive model parameters and dam *** inversion results of the Shuibuya concrete face rockfill dam (CFRD) show that the calculated settlements agree with the measured data, indicating the accuracy and efficiency of RSM.

目的分析对乙酰氨基酚超前镇痛复合肋间神经阻滞在胸腔镜肺叶切除术中的应用效果。方法选取2021年1月至2023年9月六安市中医院收治的120例经胸腔镜行肺叶切除术的肺癌患者作为研究对象,按随机数字表法将其分为对照组和观察组,每组60例。对照组患者于麻醉诱导前给予对乙酰氨基酚超前镇痛,观察组患者在对照组的基础上复合肋间神经阻滞。比较2组患者术后3、12、24、48 h的视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分、Ramsay镇静评分及血清β-内啡肽、前列腺素E2水平;比较2组患者麻醉诱导前、拔管后的去甲肾上腺素(NE)、肾上腺素(E)、血清皮质醇(Cor)等应激反应指标及CD3^(+)、CD4^(+)、CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)等免疫功能指标;比较2组患者拔管后不良反应的发生情况。结果 2组患者术后VAS评分随时间延长逐渐增加,Ramsay镇静评分随时间延长逐渐降低,观察组患者术后各时点VAS评分均低于对照组,Ramsay镇静评分均高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组患者术后血清β-内啡肽、前列腺素E2水平随时间延长逐渐降低,观察组患者术后各时点血清β-内啡肽水平均高于对照组,前列腺素E2水平均低于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组患者拔管后NE、E、Cor水平均显著降低(P<0.05),且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05);2组患者拔管后CD3^(+)、CD4^(+)、CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)水平均显著降低(P<0.05),且观察组高于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组不良反应总发生率低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论对乙酰氨基酚超前镇痛复合肋间神经阻滞应用于胸腔镜肺叶切除术,患者镇痛和镇静效果良好,有助于提高患者免疫功能,减少术后不良反应。
