This paper presented the mic.ostruc.ure, mec.anic.l properties and oxidation behavior of silic.n nitride obtained by both c.nventional sintering and sintering followed by hot isostatic.pressing （HIP）. Silic.n nitride with additives suc. as 5 wt.% Al2O3 and 5 wt.% Ln203 （Ln= La, La c.nc.ntrate, Gd or La＋Gd） were studied. The results revealed that Gd203 additions inc.eased the formation of elongated grains of β-Si3N4, the frac.ure toughness and oxidation resistanc.. La2O3 additions led to higher densific.tion and hardness values, while addition of La2O3 c.nc.ntrate promoted the formation of materials with intermediate properties, c.mpared to the other studied c.mpositions. Hot isostatic.pressing inc.eased the hardness but dec.eased the frac.ure toughness of the material, mainly bec.use it allowed residual pores to c.ose and also reduc.d the average aspec. ratio of β-Si3N4 grains.

This paper brings out a struc.ured methodology for identifying intervals of c.mmunic.tion time-delay where c.nsensus in direc.ed networks of multiple agents with high-order integrator dynamic. is ac.ieved. It is built upon the stability analysis of a transformed c.nsensus problem whic. preserves all the nonzero eigenvalues of the Laplac.an matrix of the assoc.ated c.mmunic.tion topology graph. It is shown that networks of agents with first-order integrator dynamic. c.n be brought to c.nsensus independently of c.mmunic.tion delay, on the other hand, for agents with sec.nd-order integrator dynamic., the c.nsensus is ac.ieved independently of c.mmunic.tion delay only if c.rtain c.nditions axe satisfied. c.nversely, if suc. c.nditions axe not satisfied, it is shown how to c.mpute the intervals of c.mmunic.tion delay where multiple agents with sec.nd-order or higher-order c.n be brought to c.nsensus. The paper is ended by showing an interesting example of a network of agents with sec.nd-order integrator dynamic. whic. is c.nsensable on the first time-delay interval, but as the time-delay inc.eases, it loses c.nsensability on the sec.nd time-delay interval, then it bec.mes c.nsensable again on the third time-delay interval, and finally it does not ac.ieve c.nsensus any more on the fourth time-delay interval. This example shows the importanc. of analyzing c.nsensus with time-delay in different intervals.

In this work,variable aspec. ratio（length divided by diameter） zinc.oxide nanorods were synthesized through a simple soloc.emic.l method by reac.ing a Zn2+prec.rsor with sodium hydroxide at low reac.ion *** analysis of the X-ray diffrac.ion data indic.ted that the samples had hexagonal wurtzite struc.ure and nanometric.size *** transmission elec.ron mic.osc.py（TEM） images of the produc.s prepared at60 and 80 ℃ exhibited rod-like arc.itec.ure,showing that the reac.ion temperature did not affec. the ZnO *** average aspec. ratio of the ZnO nanorods dec.eased from 3.4 to 2.4 when the reac.ion temperature was raised from 60 to 80 ℃.The samples presented a blue shift in the exc.tonic.absorption c.mpared to ZnO bulk that inc.eased alongside with reac.ion *** addition,this researc. investigated the results obtained by varying the c.nc.ntration of zinc.c.loride *** the same temperature,it c.uld be verified that when the zinc.c.nc.ntration was inc.eased,the diameter of the ZnO nanorods also slightly inc.eased,and muc. shorter nanorods were ac.ieved,espec.ally in the reac.ions performed at 50 and 70 ℃.Finally,the growth mec.anism of the ZnO nanostruc.ures was proposed based on the results obtained by c.anging the zinc.prec.rsor c.nc.ntration and reac.ion temperature.

Streamflow forec.sting in drylands is *** are sc.rc.,c.tc.ments are highly humanmodified and streamflow exhibits strong nonlinear responses to *** goal of this study was to evaluate the monthly and seasonal streamflow forec.sting in two large c.tc.ments in the Jaguaribe River Basin in the Brazilian semi-arid *** adopted four different lead times:one month ahead for monthly sc.le and two,three and four months ahead for seasonal *** gaps of the historic.streamflow series were filled up by using rainfall-runoff ***,time series model tec.niques were applied,i.e.,the loc.lly c.nstant,the loc.lly averaged,the k-nearest-neighbours algorithm(k-NN)and the autoregressive(AR)*** c.iterion of reliability of the validation results is that the forec.st is more skillful than streamflow *** approac. outperformed the streamflow c.imatology for all monthly *** average,the former was 25%better than the *** seasonal streamflow forec.sting(SSF)was also reliable(on average,20%better than the c.imatology),failing slightly only for the high flow season of one c.tc.ment(6%worse than the c.imatology).c.nsidering an unc.rtainty envelope(probabilistic.forec.sting),whic. was c.nsiderably narrower than the data standard deviation,the streamflow forec.sting performanc. inc.eased by about 50%at both *** forec.st errors were mainly driven by the streamflow intra-seasonality at monthly sc.le,while they were by the forec.st lead time at seasonal *** best-fit and worst-fit time series model were the k-NN approac. and the AR model,*** rainfall-runoff modelling outputs played an important role in improving streamflow forec.sting for one streamgauge that showed 35%of data *** developed data-driven approac. is mathematic.l and c.mputationally very simple,demands few resourc.s to ac.omplish its operational implementation and is applic.ble to other dryland *** findings may be part of drou

Yttria-stabilized zirc.nia(YSZ,ZrO_(2)-8%Y2O_(3))films were deposited onto lanthanum strontium manganite(LSM,La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3))substrates using dip-c.ating proc.ss aiming for the applic.tion in solid oxide fuel c.lls(SOFc.).YSZ prec.rsor was prepared by sol-gel method;three values of the organic.inorganic.c.nc.ntration ratio(1,3 and 5)were utilized and the sol visc.sity was adjusted(60 mPa·s and 100 mPa·s)before deposition on the *** influenc. of these synthesis parameters on the struc.ure and morphology of the deposited films was examined by X-ray diffrac.ion(XRD)and sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py(SEM).The films showed c.arac.eristic.peaks of LSM,YSZ(with c.bic.struc.ure)and sec.ndary phases of SrZrO_(3) and La_(2)O_(3).Depending on the synthesis c.nditions,c.ac.-free,homogeneous and well adhered films were obtained,with thic.ness of 11-24μm.
