Single image super resolution(SISR)techniques produce images of high resolution(HR)as output from input images of low resolution(LR).Motivated by the effectiveness of deep learning methods,we provide a framework based on deep learning to achieve super resolution(SR)by utilizing deep singular-residual neural network(DSRNN)in training *** are obtained from the difference between HR and LR images to generate LR-residual example *** value decomposition(SVD)is applied to each LR-residual image pair to decompose into subbands of low and high frequency ***,DSRNN is trained on these subbands through input and output channels by optimizing the weights and biases of the *** fewer layers in DSRNN,the influence of exploding gradients is *** speeds up the learning process and also improves accuracy by using skip *** trained DSRNN parameters yield residuals to recover the HR subbands in the testing *** analysis shows that the proposed method results in superior performance to existingmethods in terms of subjective *** testing results on popular benchmark datasets such as set5,set14,and urban100 for a scaling factor of 4 show the effectiveness of the proposed method across different qualitative evaluation metrics.

The study of interactions between surfactant and salt in aqueous solutions has attracted significant interest in recent years because of their widespread applications and relatively complex *** work reports the systematic study of surface phenomenon and self-aggregation behavior of cationic surfactant cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)with ammonium nitrate(NH_(4)NO_(3))*** and thermodynamic properties of cationic surfactant CTAB with NH_(4)NO_(3)were investigated at different temperatures using different techniques such as conductometry and surface *** surface tension measurement was carried out to find out the critical micelle concentration,free energy of adsorption,free energy of micellization,minimum area per molecule,and surface excess *** study reveals that the process of micellization is spontaneous and exothermic in *** measurement was carried out to determine critical micelle concentration,degree of ionization and degree of counter ion *** of NH_(4)NO_(3)to the surfactant solutions increase the values of degree of ionization and degree of counter ion binding,although it lowers the values of critical micelle concentration showing that the process of micellization is more favorable and *** study is very helpful to develop better understanding about interaction between electrolyte and surfactant,which are used in many applications and in different processes(e.g.,pharmaceutical,industrial foaming,drug solubilization,oil recovery,and medium for metal nanoparticle formation).

In recent years, a number of preconditioners have been applied to solve the linear systems with Gauss-Seidel method (see [1-7,10-12,14-16]). In this paper we use Sl instead of (S + Sm) and compare with M. Morimoto’s precondition [3] and H. Niki’s precondition [5] to obtain better convergence rate. A numerical example is given which shows the preference of our method.

Diabetes mellitus is one of the most prevalent endocrine disorders associated with macro and micro vascular complications. Lower limb complications associated with diabetes including Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU) are a major public health issue worldwide. Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a strain of coronavirus which causes illness in animals and humans. COVID-19 has significantly affected people with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and cancer with severe illness and worse outcomes as well as disruption of their routine medical care provision. We presented a case-study of 59-year-old patient with diabetes and hypertension, with an unexpected DFU complication that resulted in big toe amputation. Therefore it is vital for us as health care professional to find innovative ways to ensure the continuity of medical care/service provision along with the fight of COVID-19.

Intelligent vision-based surveillance systems are designed to deal with the gigantic volume of videos captured in a particular environment to perform the interpretation of scenes in form of detection,tracking,monitoring,behavioral analysis,and *** addition to that,another evolving way of surveillance systems in a particular environment is human gait-based *** the existing research,several methodological frameworks are designed to use deep learning and traditional methods,nevertheless,the accuracies of these methods drop substantially when they are subjected to covariate *** covariate variables disrupt the gait features and hence the recognition of subjects becomes *** handle these issues,a region-based triplet-branch Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is proposed in this research that is focused on different parts of the human Gait Energy Image(GEI)including the head,legs,and body separately to classify the subjects,and later on,the final identification of subjects is decided by probability-based majority voting ***,to enhance the feature extraction and draw the discriminative features,we have added soft attention layers on each branch to generate the soft attention *** proposed model is validated on the CASIA-B database and findings indicate that part-based learning through triplet-branch CNN shows good performance of 72.98%under covariate conditions as well as also outperforms single-branch CNN models.

Tailoring of Bandgap and Spin-Orbit Splitting in ZrSe_(2) with Low Substitution of Ti for Zr

Tuning the bandgap in layered transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs) is crucial for their versatile applications in many fields. The ternary formation is a viable method to tune the bandgap as well as other intrinsic properties of TMDCs, because the multi-elemental characteristics provide additional tunability at the atomic level and advantageously alter the physical properties of TMDCs. Herein, ternary Ti_(x)Zr_(1-x)Se_(2) single crystals were synthesized using the chemical-vapor-transport method. The changes in electronic structures of ZrSe_(2) induced by Ti substitution were revealed using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. Our data show that at a low level of Ti substitution, the bandgap of Ti_(x)Zr_(1-x)Se_(2) decreases monotonically, and the electronic system undergoes a transition from a semiconducting to a metallic state without a significant variation of dispersions of valence bands. Meanwhile, the size of spin-orbit splitting dominated by Se 4p orbitals decreases with the increase of Ti doping. Our work shows a convenient way to alter the bandgap and spin-orbit coupling in TMDCs at the low level of substitution of transition metals.

BACKGROUND Elective total joint arthroplasty(TJA)procedures have been postponed as part of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)response to avert healthcare system *** hip arthroplasty(THA)and total knee arthroplasty(TKA)procedures comprise the highest volume of elective procedures performed at health care facilities *** To determine the demand for TJA despite the pandemic and the impact of surgery postponement on physical and mental *** We conducted a prospective cross-sectional telephonic interview-based study on patients awaiting THA and TKA at an academic institution in South *** questionnaire consisted of four *** first section recorded baseline demographic data and medical co-morbidities,the length of time spent awaiting TJA,and the patients’desire to undergo elective surgery despite the COVID-19 *** 2 and Section 3 assessed the patients’current physical and mental health,respectively,as a consequence of deferred surgical *** last section established the patients’perception of the healthcare system’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and necessity to postpone elective *** received counseling and education on the current state of surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic and associated ***,patients were once again asked about their desire to undergo TJA during the COVID-19 *** We included 185 patients(65.95%female;mean age:50.28 years)awaiting TJA for a mean of 26.42±30.1 ***,88.65%of patients wanted TJA despite the COVID-19 *** awaiting TJA for 1-3 years were 3.3-fold more likely to want surgery than those waiting<1 year(P<0.000).Patients with comorbidities were 8.4-fold less likely to want TJA than those with no comorbidities(P=0.013).After receiving education,the patients wanting TJA decreased to 54.05%.Patients who changed their opinion after education had less insight on the increased morbidity(P=0.046)and mortality(P=0.001)asso

由于环境影响,发电成本和快速增长的需求,电力系统中可再生能源（RES）的利用一直在迅速增长。因此,由于其在其他自然资源（如煤炭能源和其他类型的能源生产资源）上的优势,在当今和未来的研究中变得越来越重要。它无污染,占地面积少,价格便宜,施工时间短。文献中有许多用于风电预测的技术,包括简单到复杂的技术（AR,ARIMA,模糊网络,SVM,贝叶斯,卡尔曼滤波器）。文献中也使用了单一到混合模型。为此,在短期风电预测的预测中也使用了机器学习。在本文中,我使用深度学习技术来预测长达数小时的短期风力发电。我没有使用Anwen的深度学习神经网络CNN[80],而是使用了三个深度学习神经网络和一个与CNN-LSTM组合的神经网络来比较它们的MSE,并查看哪个神经网络总体上效果最佳。在此之前,风能数据要经过数据预处理阶段,而不是馈送到主模型中的风能数据。除了 CNN模型图外,我还对LSTM,ConvLSTM,CNN-LSTM神经网络使用了简单的模型图。本文采用卷积神经网络（CNN）,长短期记忆（LSTM）和卷积LSTM（ConvLSTM）等深度学习神经网络进行风电功率预测。由于CNN具有处理大数据的优势。CNN以2D形式处理数据,并在图像视觉/处理领域具有优势。LSTM的RNN可以保留很长时间,这是它们的默认特性。ConvLSTM也是LSTM的一种,其中内部矩阵乘法被用于预测风能的卷积运算代替。本文还使用CNN-LSTM神经网络的组合来预测风能。2018年的历史风电数据取自Elia风力发电场,作为上述神经网络的输入。主模型图分为训练,验证和测试数据阶段,因此我们可以拥有用于测试数据以进行预测的最佳模型。输出结果显示了上述模型接下来20小时的真实功率和预测功率。CNN,ConvLSTM,.CNN+LSTM采用2D作为输入,而LSTM采用1D输入,因为它提供了更好的结果。结果表明,与ConvLSTM,CNN和CNN+LSTM相比,LSTM的性能更好。用作性能指标的均方误差和LSTM在所有模型中均具有较小的均方误差。得出结论如下,在几乎所有时间范围（短期,中期,长期预测）中,LSTM和ConvLSTM都更适合于时间序列预测,但是LSTM将超越文献中存在的其他时间序列模型。最重要的是,对于CNN,MSE 比文献中[80,82]的其他技术有所改进。将均方误差用作性能标准,并绘制实际值与预测值的比较值,并比较它们的MSE值,以查看哪个性能更好。Python用于编码和预测。

Photo-activities at Inorganic/Organic/Interfaces (IOI) consisting of CdS/ Polyterthiophine (PTTh) assemblies were investigated in nanoparticle suspension and in thin solid film forms. The effects PTTh modifier cause on the photoelec-trochemical behavior of the IOI were investigated using [Fe(CN)6]4- as photoactive hydrated electron donor agent. Results show that the adsorption process of [Fe(CN)6]3- (photolysis product) control the photoactivity outcome of IOI assemblies. CdS/PTTh shows lower heterogeneous photochemical response than native CdS. Native CdS amorphous nanoparticles adsorb more [Fe(CN)6]3- with very steady adsorption /desorption process than the modified ones. The interface activities were explained by analyzing the IOI junctions’ characteristics, such as electron affinity, work function and hole/electrons barrier heights. The aqueous nano-systems retained moderate stability as indicated by the reproducibility of their photocatalytic activities. Both [Fe(CN)6]4- and PTTh contributed to the stability of native CdS surfaces.
