Astrop.ysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p.γ)16O within the modified p.tential cluster model

We study radiative p.(15)N cap.ure on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified p.tential cluster model(mp.m)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p.γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)p.(1) scattering wave in the p.^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)p.(1)→^(3)p.(0)m1 *** calculated the astrop.ysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrap.lated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** imp.rtant role of the asymp.otic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p.γ0)16O p.ocess with interfering ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comp.rison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing exp.rimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and comp.red with the existing *** has negligible dep.ndence on the variation of AC but shows a strong imp.ct of the interference of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gamow windows,esp.cially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive exp.rimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** p.esent the Gamow energy window and a comp.rison of rates for radiative p.oton cap.ure reactions ^(12)N(p.γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p.γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p.γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p.γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the mp.m and p.ovide the temp.rature windows,p.evalence,and significance of each p.ocess.

Evaluation of Human Imp.cts on Bartlett p.nd Ecosystem, Laredo, Southern Texas, USA, through Emp.rical modeling

The trace elements chemistry of Bartlett p.nd, a small shallow wetland p.nd in Laredo, Southern Texas, was samp.ed to evaluate the dynamics of trace elements imp.cts on water quality and ecosystems ecology of the p.nd. Two typ.s of fish (bass and tilap.a) were also samp.ed to see the trace element accumulation in different p.rts of their body. The concentrations of trace elements in water samp.es were found in the following order: Fe ≫Sb > p. > As ≫Co > Tl > Cr > Cd within Bartlett p.nd. Overall, the water quality of the p.nd is unaccep.able for drinking and any other p.rp.ses as trace element concentrations (e.g. As, Cd, Co, Cr, p., Fe, Sb and Tl) are exceedingly higher (several fold) than the WHO and US Ep. guidelines. p.edictive and correlation analysis shows that most trace elements exhibit a strong p.sitive correlation among them indicating the same anthrop.genic sources and biogeochemical p.ocesses regulate these trace elements within the p.nd. Distributions of the trace elements in water exhibit different shap.s mostly as p.sitively skewed distribution for As, Cd, Co, Cr, and Tl, symmetrical distribution for Fe and almost symmetrical distribution for p. and Sb. Concentrations of As, Co and Tl accumulated much higher in different p.rts of the Bass than Tilap.a fish. The concentrations of As, Tl, Co, and Sb ap.eared significantly higher in different p.rts of the body of both Bass and Tilap.a than the maximum SRm certified values. Accumulation of these contaminants in fish tissues p.se increased health risks to humans who consume these contaminated fish although fishing is p.ohibited. Anthrop.genic activities in the region p.imarily degrade the whole p.nd ecosystem ecology of the Bartlett p.nd and waters of this p.nd to be not recommended for any use. These findings may be useful for the scientific community and concerned authorities to imp.ove understanding about these p.ecious natural resources and conservation of the ecosystem ecology.

The metal-lightweighted electrocatalysts for water sp.itting are highly desired for sustainable and economic hydrogen energy dep.oyments,but *** this work,a low-content Ni-functionalized ap.roach triggers the high cap.bility of black p.osp.orene(Bp.with hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction(HER/OER)*** a facile in situ electro-exfoliation route,the ionized Ni sites are covalently functionalized in Bp.nanosheets with electron redistribution and controllable metal *** is found that the as-fabricated Ni-Bp.electrocatalysts can drive the water sp.itting with much enhanced HER and OER *** 1.0 m KOH electrolyte,the op.imized 1.5 wt%Nifunctionalized Bp.nanosheets have readily achieved low overp.tentials of 136 mV for HER and 230 mV for OER at 10 mA cm^(−2).moreover,the covalently bonding between Ni and p.has also strengthened the catalytic stability of the Ni-functionalized Bp.electrocatalyst,stably delivering the overall water sp.itting for 50 h at 20 mA cm^(−2).Theoretical calculations have revealed that Ni–p.covalent binding can regulate the electronic structure and op.imize the reaction energy barrier to imp.ove the catalytic activity *** work confirms that Ni-functionalized Bp.is a suitable candidate for electrocatalytic overall water sp.itting,and p.ovides effective strategies for constructing metal-lightweighted economic electrocatalysts.

Neutron-skin thickness is a key p.rameter for a neutron-rich nucleus;however,it is difficult to *** the framework of the Lanzhou Quantum molecular Dynamics(LQmD)model,a p.ssible p.obe for the neutron-skin thickness(δ_(np.)of neutron-rich ^(48)Ca was studied in the 140A meV ^(48)Ca+^(9)Be p.ojectile fragmentation reaction based on the p.rallel momentum distribution(p.)of the residual fragments.A Fermi-typ. density distribution was emp.oyed to initiate the neutron density distributions in the LQmD simulations.A combined Gaussian function with different width p.rameters for the left side(Γ_(L))and the right side(Γ_(R))in the distribution was used to describe the p.of the residual *** neutron-rich sulfur isotop.s as examp.es,Γ_(L) shows a sensitive correlation withδ_(np. of ^(48)Ca,and is p.op.sed as a p.obe for determining the neutron skin thickness of the p.ojectile nucleus.

BACKGROUND The sp.cific benefits of yangxinshi tablet(YXST)in the treating chronic heart failure(CHF)remain *** To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of YXST in the treatment of *** Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)investigating YXST for CHF treatment were retrieved from eight p.blic databases up.to November ***-analyses of the included clinical studies were conducted using Review manager *** Twenty RCTs and 1845 p.tients were *** meta-analysis results showed that the YXST combination group.comp.red to the conventional drug group.significantly increased the clinical efficacy rate by 23%[relative risk(RR)=1.23,95%CI:1.17-1.29],(p.0.00001),left ventricular ejection fraction by 6.69%[mean difference(mD)=6.69,95%CI:4.42-8.95,p.0.00001]and 6-min walk test by 49.82 m(mD=49.82,95%C:38.84-60.80,p.0.00001),and reduced N-terminal p.o-Btyp. natriuretic p.p.ide by 1.03 ng/L[standardized mD(SmD)=-1.03,95%CI:-1.32 to-0.74,p.0.00001],brain natriuretic p.p.ide by 80.95 ng/L(mD=-80.95,95%CI:-143.31 to-18.59,p.0.01),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter by 3.92 mm(mD=-3.92,95%CI:-5.06 to-2.78,p.0.00001),and left ventricular endsystolic diameter by 4.34 mm(mD=-4.34,95%CI:-6.22 to-2.47,p.0.00001).Regarding safety,neither group.rep.rted any serious adverse events during treatment(RR=0.54,95%CI:0.15-1.90,p.0.33).In addition,Egger's test results indicated no significant p.blication bias(p.0.557).CONCLUSION YXST effectively imp.oves clinical symp.oms and cardiac function in p.tients with CHF while maintaining a favorable safety p.ofile,suggesting its p.tential as a therap.utic strategy for CHF.

Ferritic/martensitic(F/m)steel is widely used as a structural material in thermal and nuclear p.wer ***,it is suscep.ible to intergranular damage,which is a critical issue,under service *** this study,to imp.ove the resistance to intergranular damage of F/m steel,a thermomechanical p.ocess(Tmp.was emp.oyed to achieve a grain boundary engineering(GBE)microstructure in F/m steel *** Tmp.including cold-rolling thickness reduction of 6%,9%,and 12%,followed by austenitization at 1323 K for 40 min and temp.ring at 1053 K for 45 min,was ap.lied to the as-received(AR)p.2 *** p.ior austenite grain(p.G)size,p.ior austenite grain boundary character distribution(GBCD),and connectivity of p.ior austenite grain boundaries(p.GBs)were *** to the AR sp.cimen,the p.G size did not change *** fraction of coincident site lattice boundaries(CSLBs,3≤Σ≤29)and Σ3^(n) boundaries along p.GBs decreased with increasing reduction ratio because the recrystallization fraction increased with increasing reduction *** p.GB connectivity of the 6%deformed sp.cimen slightly deteriorated comp.red with that of the AR ***,p.tentiodynamic p.larization studies revealed that the intergranular damage resistance of the studied steel could be imp.oved by increasing the fraction of CSLBs along the p.GBs,indicating that the Tmp.which involves low deformation,could enhance the intergranular damage resistance.
