Introduction: Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCm) is a dilated cardiomyopathy occurring in the last month of pregnancy or the first five months postpartum without pre-existing cardiovascular pathology. It is a major cause of pregnancy-related heart failure with high morbidity and mortality. In severe forms (10% to 15% of cases), thrombo-embolic complications are the main cause. The initial hemodynamic evolution is totally unpredictable and sometimes extremely brutal and fatal. The objective of this work was to show the often pejorative evolution of PPCm in our country. methods: We report in this work three serious clinical cases revealing the complications of this PPCm among patients admitted to the cardiology department of the CHUD-B/A in 2022 for heart failure. The data were collected according to the Declaration of Helsinki. Patients and Observations: The first case was a PPCm with severe left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction complicated by spontaneous left intraventricular contrast and right superficial sylvian ischemic stroke. The second case reports a global cardiac decompensation of a PPCm with severe LV systolic dysfunction complicated by an apical thrombus. The third case is that of a state of cardiogenic shock complicating a PPCm with severe LV systolic dysfunction. Among our 03 patients presenting these severe forms of PPCm, the evolution, in spite of the symptomatic and prognostic treatments of the heart failure, and even of the complications, was unfavourable with death in two of them. Conclusion: Complications of PPCm are frequent and fatal in Benin.

Crystal structure and luminescence dynamics of highly pure Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) red phosphors for white light emitting diodes

Highly pure red phosphors Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) doped with Eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synthesized via solution combustion method and their crystal structure and luminescence dynamics were studied to explore its suitability in white light emitting *** Rietveld refinement analysis of the powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure triclinic phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and LiCa(PO_(3)) with space group P-1(2).The scanning electron microscopy images showed the agglomerated *** photoluminescence em.ssion spectra under 393 nm show an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm ascribed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spectroscopic properties such as luminescence behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to examine the symmetry of Eu^(3+)ions in Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) phosphors in terms of distortion induced upon *** Stark splitting shows that the actual site symmetry for Eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be D_(2) type for both *** photometric properties of LiCa(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)such as Comm.ssion International de l'Eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high color purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the capability of acting as a red component in n-UV white light emitting diodes.

目的:应用事件相关电位技术考察正常人脑区名词和动词的分布特征。方法:实验于2006-03在徐州师范大学完成。选择在校大学生16名作为受试者,男女各8名,年龄19￣22岁,进行词语搭配判断实验。①刺激材料包括180个启动刺激("一Q"和"不m",Q为名量词,m为能愿动词),以及180个目标刺激(名词和动词)。启动词和目标词构成4组不同搭配的短语,其中2组为正确搭配,另2组为错误搭配。②实验任务:要求被试判断启动词和目标词的搭配是否正确。刺激材料为随机编排,启动词和目标词的呈现时间均为200ms,启动词和目标词之间的时间间隔为300ms,相邻两个trail间的时间间隔为2500ms。③实验评估:采用Neuroscan Synamps2记录脑电,并使用Neuroscan4.3对采集的脑电进行离线分析处理。最后用两因素重复测量的方差分析法对数据进行分析。结果:16名被试的实验数据均纳入统计分析。①反应时和正确率:两种正确搭配短语"一Q+名词"和"不m+动词"反应时比较差异显著[F(1,30)=5.475,P=0.026];而二者的正确率未见显著效应。②Nd400的平均幅值:在目标刺激呈现后350￣750ms,额区Nd400的类型主效应十分显著[F(1,15)=14.211,P=0.002],"不m+名词"-"不m+动词"差异波Nd400成分在额区显著。在目标刺激呈现后450￣530ms,后部脑区Nd400的类型主效应十分显著[F(1,15)=11.042,P=0.005],"一Q+动词"-"一Q+名词"差异波Nd400更负。③潜伏期:在后部脑区,两个差异波的Nd400在潜伏期上差异也十分显著[F(1,15)=29.512,P=0.000],差异波"一Q+动词"-"一Q+名词"所诱发的Nd400更加延迟。④脑区电压分析:在目标词呈现后400￣600ms,差异波"不m+名词"-"不m+动词"在额区的电压更负,而"一Q+动词"-"一Q+名词"则在中央顶区有更负的电压值。结论:对于正常人而言,名词和动词具有不同的大脑皮质表征,额区主要负责动词的加工,而后部脑区在名词的表征中起主要作用。

Which are the most favourable conditions for reducing soil CO_(2)em.ssions with no-tillage?Results from a meta-analysis

No-tillage practices have a recognised beneficial impact on soil and water conservation while reducing erosion processes and enhancing soil organic matter ***,scientists continue to debate the effectiveness of no-tillage in reducing soil carbon dioxide(CO_(2))em.ssions from *** the same line of inquiry pursued by the authors who reviewed the impact of conservative practices on direct CO_(2)em.ssions,we applied meta-analytic and machine learning techniques to unravel the effect of no-tillage under contrasting pedo-environmental conditions and agricultural *** analysed fifty-six experimental studies investigating direct soil CO_(2)em.ssions from no-tillage and conventional tillage practices(102 paired observations),considering pedological(soil texture,soil organic carbon content),environmental(climate type),and management(crop rotation,experiment duration)*** estimated the effect of different practices on the daily amount of soil CO_(2)em.ssions,and the impact of tillage in the period immediately following the *** main insights of this study are:(i)the conditions leading to the highest reduction of CO_(2)em.ssions due to no-tillage were long-term experiments(standardised mean differenceβ=0.64)conducted in arid environments(β=0.76)and clay soils(β=0.81),with low organic carbon content(β=0.79)where crop rotations(β=0.65)were performed;(ii)the same conditions were associated with the lowest absolute CO_(2)em.ssions,irrespective of soil management;(iii)the highest contribution to the variability of absolute soil CO_(2)em.ssions was associated with soil texture(mean decrease in accuracy of Random Forest models,mDA=4.57),rotation(mDA=3.07),experiment duration(mDA=2.93)and soil organic carbon content(mDA=2.24),rather than to tillage practices;(iv)soil CO_(2)em.ssions almost doubled in the first day after a tillage event,consistently across studies(p=0.001).This meta-analysis offers quantitative figures on the impact of tillage

In this work,a method to improve the protection against corrosion of porous sintered stainless steel is *** is based on the electrodeposition of polypyrrole(PPy)layers doped with a large size counterion such as dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid(DBSA),a conducting polymer with high corrosion resistance and good *** efficacy of PPy coating depends on the adequate adhesion between the metal substrate and the coating *** protection against corrosion has been tested using 316 L stainless steel(ss)powder sintered at different conditions to evaluate the effect of the sintering atmosphere(nitrogen and vacuum)and cooling rates(furnace and water)on corrosion resistance,while wrought 316 L ss has been used as reference *** addition,two electrochemical deposition techniques have been tested to select the most *** circuit potential evolution,anodic polarization measurements and electrochemical impedance spectra have been used to evaluate corrosion protection in phosphate buffer saline *** has been evidenced that a more homogeneous and stable coating was obtained in the case of porous stainless *** corrosion potential shifted to nobler values and the anodic polarization branch became more *** porous samples have a good passivation performance with a lower stable passive current density and a higher breakdown *** transfer electronic resistance and the impedance module increase more than one order of ***,the porosity of sintered stainless steel is seen as an advantage for the improvement of the adherence of the PPy *** best corrosion protection is found for samples sintered in nitrogen and water-cooled.

The highly dynamic nature of agro-ecosystems in space and time usually leads to high intra-class variance and low inter-class separability in the fine spatial resolution(FSR)remotely sensed *** makes traditional classifiers essentially relying on spectral information for crop mapping from FSR imagery an extremely challenging *** mine effectively the rich spectral and spatial information in FSR imagery,this paper proposed a Scale Sequence Object-based Convolutional Neural Network(ss-OCNN)that classifies images at the object level by taking segmented objects(crop parcels)as basic units of analysis,thus,ensuring that the boundaries between crop parcels are delineated *** segmented objects were subsequently classified using a CNN model integrated with an automatically generated scale sequence of input patch *** scale sequence can fuse effectively the features learned at different scales by transforming progressively the information extracted at small scales to larger *** effectiveness of the ss-OCNN was investigated using two heterogeneous agricultural areas with FSR SAR and optical imagery,*** results revealed that the ss-OCNN consistently achieved the most accurate classification *** ss-OCNN,thus,provides a new paradigm for crop classification over heterogeneous areas using FSR imagery,and has a wide application prospect.

The user interface is a central component of any mo de rn application program. It determines how well end users accept, learn, and effi ciently work with the application program. The user interface is very difficult to design, to implement, to modify. It takes approximately 70% of the time requ ired for designing an application program. All the existing tools for user interface design can be divided into two basic c ategories-Interface Builders and model-based Interface development tools, whic h trace their roots from user interface management systems. Interface Builders a re the most widespread and excellent to create layouts and manipulate widgets. H owever, Interface Builders have the follow demerits. An interface designed using Interface Builders can contain hundreds of procedures. Interface Builders give us no possibility to develop different pieces of the same interface separately. They do not help us in managing user tasks and can be used only by programmers. model-based interface development tools have attracted a high degree of interes t in last few years. The basic premise of model based technology is that the interface development can be fully supported by declarative models of all user interface characteristics such as their presen tation, dialogue, domain of application etc, and then the user interface develop ment can be centered around such models. The high potential of this technology has not been realized yet. This fact has the following reasons. The known interface models are partial representations of interfaces. They cannot be readily modified by developers, and are not publicly available to the HCI community. The central ingredient for success in model-ba sed systems is a declarative, complete, versatile interface model that can expre ss a wide variety of interface designs.
