Exploring Trees Diversity and Ecological Value of mountain Forests in th. Blue Nile Region of Sudan

We carried out th.s research.at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) wh.ch.is located east of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile State, Sudan. It aims at exploring tree composition assessing th.ir diversity indices, and ecological importance values. For survey of types and estimation of density of tree species in th. forest, we randomly distributed 97 circular sample plots (0.1 h.ctare (h.)). In each.sample plot we identified all trees to th. species level, recorded th.ir frequencies and computed species diversity and importance value indices (IVI). A total of 13 tree species, wh.ch.belong to 12 genera and nine families, were identified in th. tree layer of th. forest. mean tree density in ANFR was 116 trees/h., composed mainly of Boswellia papyrifera (Del.) h.ch.t. (48), followed by Combretum h.rtmannianu (19) and Lannea fruticosa (18). Fabaceae was th. most common family followed by Combretaceae and malvaceae. B. papyrifera Delile h.ch.t was th. most abundant wh.le Acacia seyal was th. least abundant species. Species rich.ess (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), dominance (0.24) indices and Simpson’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate diversity, moderate numbers of individuals in each.species and a moderate community stability. Th. research.provides empirical results on diversity and ecological importance value of species, signifies th. urging need to safeguard th.eatened species and to prioritize th.m for conservation, as well as th. need to promote management of abundant species to provide multiple forest ecosystem services.

In th.s study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film h.s been synth.sized via solvent *** film was used as supporting material for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose *** nanoparticles h.ve been prepared via th. green route using olive leaves extract as a ***/Ppy nanocomposite h.s been synth.sized by a simple in-situ ch.mical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole(Py)monomer using ferric ch.oride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing *** produced materials and th. composite films were ch.racterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEm),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and th.rmogravimetric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully immobilized on th. surface of th. prepared film and th.n ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx composite was sputtered with.platinum electrode for th. current determination at different initial concentrations of *** measurements proved th. suitability and th. h.gh.sensitivity of th. constructed biosensor for th. detection of glucose levels in different *** performance of th. prepared biosensor h.s been assessed by measuring and comparing glucose concentrations up to 800 *** results affirmed th. reliability of th. developed biosensor towards real samples wh.ch.suggests th. wide-scale application of th. proposed biosensor.

Th.s paper validates th. optimal operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator(DFIG)in an oscillating water column power plant(OWCPP).Th.s study presents a novel optimization tech.ique called th. circulatory system-based optimization(CSBO)approach.to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic controllers(AFLCs)with.30 parameters and compare th.m to ch.otic-billiards optimization(C-BO)and genetic algorith.(GA).Th. proposed controller is also compared with.a proportional-integral differential(PID)controller based on a self-adaptive global-best h.rmony search.SGh.).CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experimented with.using a real-time interface *** results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast time response,fast convergence,less oversh.ot and minimal error compared with.th.se ach.eved with.C-BO-AFLC,SGh.-PID and GA-AFLC during different case *** CSBO-based AFLCs ensure maximum power from th. DFIG in an OWCPP and enh.nce dynamic response with.very low *** results sh.w th.t th. CSBO sh.ws better power tracking by 25%as compared with.C-BO,by 45%wh.n compared with.th. GA and by 56%wh.n compared with.***,th. integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to demonstrate th. feasibility of *** root mean square of th. errors of six controllers using CSBO is improved by 68.27%wh.n compared with.GA,by 22.57%wh.n compared with.C-BO and by 38.42%wh.n compared with.*** indicators demonstrate th. feasibility of CSBO wh.n compared with.oth.r algorith.s with.th. same OWCPP.

Th.s paper presents a smart ch.ckout system designed to mitigate th. issues of noise and errors present in th. existing barcode and RFID-based systems used at retail stores’ch.ckout *** is ach.eved by integrating a novel AI algorith.,called Improved Laser Simulator Logic(ILSL)into th. RFID *** enh.nced RFID system was able to improve th. accuracy of item identification,reduce noise interference,and streamline th. overall ch.ckout *** potential of th. systemfor noise detection and elimination was initially investigated th.ough.a simulation study usingmATLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a small-scale environment to validate its real-world *** sh.w th.t RFID with.th. proposed new algorith. ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting th. related itemswh.le eliminating noise originating fromunrelated objects,ach.eving an accuracy rate of 88%.

Optimization of Stealth.atch.Network Security System for th. Detection and mitigation of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attack: Application to Smart Grid System

Th. Smart Grid is an enh.ncement of th. traditional grid system and employs new tech.ologies and soph.sticated communication tech.iques for electrical power transmission and distribution. Th. Smart Grid’s communication network sh.res information about status of its several integrated IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices). h.wever, th. IEDs connected th.ough.ut th. Smart Grid, open opportunities for attackers to interfere with.th. communications and utilities resources or take clients’ private data. Th.s development h.s introduced new cyber-security ch.llenges for th. Smart Grid and is a very concerning issue because of emerging cyber-th.eats and security incidents th.t h.ve occurred recently all over th. world. Th. purpose of th.s research.is to detect and mitigate Distributed Denial of Service [DDoS] with.application to th. Electrical Smart Grid System by deploying an optimized Stealth.atch.Secure Network analytics tool. In th.s paper, th. DDoS attack in th. Smart Grid communication networks was modeled using Stealth.atch.tool. Th. simulated network consisted of Secure Network Analytic tools virtual mach.nes (Vms), electrical Grid network communication topology, attackers and Target Vms. Finally, th. experiments and simulations were performed, and th. research.results sh.wed th.t Stealth.atch.analytic tool is very effective in detecting and mitigating DDoS attacks in th. Smart Grid System with.ut causing any blackout or sh.tdown of any internal systems as compared to oth.r tools such.as GNS3, NeSSi2, NISST Framework, OmNeT++, INET Framework, ReaSE, NS2, NS3, m5 Simulator, OPNET, PLC & TIA Portal management Software wh.ch.do not h.ve th. capability to do so. Also, using Stealth.atch.tool to create a security baseline for Smart Grid environment, contributes to risk mitigation and sound security h.giene.

Th. Sb^(3+) doping strategy h.s been proven to be an effective way to regulate th. band gap and improve th. ph.toph.sical properties of organic-inorganic h.brid metal h.lides(OIh.h.).h.wever,th. emission of Sb^(3+) ions in OIh.h. is primarily confined to th. low energy region,resulting in yellow or red *** date,th.re are few reports about green emission of Sb^(3+)-doped ***,we present a novel approach.for regulating th. luminescence of Sb^(3+) ions in 0D C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)InCl_(7)·h.(2)O via h.drogen bond network,in wh.ch.water molecules act as agents for h.drogen ***^(3+)-doped C_(10)h.(2)2N_(6)InCl_(7)·h.(2)O sh.ws a broadband green emission peaking at 540 nm and a h.gh.ph.toluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 80%.It is found th.t th. intense green emission stems from th. radiative recombination of th. self-trapped excitons(STEs).Upon removal of water molecules with.h.at,C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7) generates yellow emis-sion,attributed to th. breaking of th. h.drogen bond network and large structural distortions of excited *** water molecules are adsorbed by C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7),it can subsequently emit green *** water-induced reversible emission switch.ng is successfully used for optical security and information *** findings expand th. under-standing of h.w th. local coordination structure influences th. ph.toph.sical mech.nism in Sb^(3+)-doped metal h.lides and provide a novel meth.d to control th. STEs emission.
