Skin cancer is one of themost severe diseases,andmedical imaging is among themain tools for cancer *** images provide information on the evolutionary stage,size,and location of tumor *** paper focuses on the classification of skin lesion images considering a framework of four experiments to analyze the classification performance of Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)in distinguishing different skin *** CNNs are based on transfer learning,taking advantage of ImageNet ***,in each experiment,different workflow stages are tested,including data augmentation and fine-tuning *** CNN models based on DenseNet-201,Inception-ResNet-V2,and Inception-V3 are proposed and compared using the ham10000 *** results obtained by the three models demonstrate accuracies of 98%,97%,and 96%,***,the best model is tested on the ISIC 2019 dataset showing an accuracy of 93%.The proposed methodology using CNN represents a helpful tool to accurately diagnose skin cancer disease.

Aim： To find an in vitro system for the measurement of the androgenic effects of different extracts of Hibiscus macranthus （malvaceae） and Basella alba （Basellaceae）. methods： The production of testosterone from testes slices incubated in two media, either Krebs-Henseleit buffer containing 0.5% Bovine serum albumin （BSA） or Dubecco＇s modified Eagle＇s medium-F12 ham nutrient mixture （DmE/ham F12）, under a mixture of 5% CO2 in 95% air was determined either in the presence or absence of cofactors and Hibiscus macranthus plus Basella alba （HmBA） extracts. Results： The testosterone production was increased in testes slices incubated in DmE/ham F12 medium in response to the cofactors （49%） and aqueous extracts （34%-60% according to dilutions）. Under the same atmospheric conditions, there was no positive response of the testes slices to either cofactor or HmBA extract stimulation in Krebs-Henseleit buffer containing 0.5% BSA, In further investigations related to the effect of HmBA, the DmE/ ham F12 medium was used. The results obtained from the in vitro test showed that the activity was present mainly in methylene chloride and methanol, since these extracts induced an increase in testosterone production by testes slices. Conclusion： The testes slice system is suitable to be used for further in vitro investigations of the isolation of androgenic bioactive components of plants. （Asian J Androl 2006 Jan; 8： 111-114）

Twenty eight strains of endophytic fungi including sterile mycelia were isolated from the leaf,rhizome and roots of Hedychium spicatum ham *** of the endophytic fungi isolated belonged to the phylum Ascomycota which accounted of about 84%.The endophytic assemblage was dominated by the class *** fungal genera such as Fusarium and Penicillium were found to be common to all the plant *** of endophytic fungi was found to be highest in the roots(H’=2.43).mucor hiemalis,Penicillium sp.,Penicillium expansum,***,Phoma medicaginis,Trichoderma *** *** showed above 60%inhibition against the phytopathogen Alternaria solani.

This paper studios the existence of closed geodesics in the homotopy class of a given closed curve. Let m be a complete riemannian manifold without boundary, f∈C1（S1, m）. Look at S1 as [0, 2π]/{0, 2π}. The following results are proved:A. The initial value problem of heat equation ift=τ（fi）, f0=f always admits a global solution.B. （Existence of closed geodesics）. If there exists a compact set Km such that f（S1）∩K≠φ andE（f）≤（1/π）l（K）2,then there exists a closed geodesic homotopic to f. If then the closed geodesic is minimal.C. Some estimates about injective radius are *** example is found showing that the inequalities in B are sharp.

This paper introduces a non-conventional approach with multi-dimensional random sampling to solve a cocaine abuse model with statistical probability. The mean Latin hypercube finite difference (mLHFD) method is proposed for the first time via hybrid integration of the classical numerical finite difference (FD) formula with Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) technique to create a random distribution for the model parameters which are dependent on time t. The LHS technique gives advantage to mLHFD method to produce fast variation of the parameters' values via number of multidimensional simulations (100, 1000 and 5000). The generated Latin hypercube sample which is random or non-deterministic in nature is further integrated with the FD method to complete one cycle of LHS-FD simulation iteration. This process is repeated until n final iterations of LHS-FD are obtained. The means of these n final solutions (mLHFD solutions) are tabulated, graphed and analyzed. The numerical simulation results of mLHFD for the SEIR model are presented side-by-side with deterministic solutions obtained from the classical FD scheme and homotopy analysis method with Pade approximation (ham-Pade). The present mLHFD results are also compared with the previous non-deterministic statistical estimations from 1995 to 2015. Good agreement between the two is perceived with small errors. mLHFD method can be used to predict future behavior, range and prediction interval for the epidemic model solutions. The expected profiles of the cocaine abuse subpopulations are projected until the year 2045. Both the statistical estimations and the deterministic results of FD and ham-Pade are found to be within the mLHFD prediction intervals for all the years and for all the subpopulations considered.

研究旨在探讨两种叶黄素(商业叶黄素和菠菜叶黄素粗提取物)对叶黄素在蛋黄上的富集和抗氧化的影响。将36只24周龄的白来航鸡随机分为3组,分别饲喂基础日粮(CON)、商业叶黄素((LUT,叶黄素40 mg·kg-1基础饲粮)和菠菜粗提取物溶解在卵磷脂中(ECE,叶黄素40 mg·kg-1基础饲粮),试验共5周。各处理组的体重和相对活体重无显著差异。与对照组相比,LUT和ECE组的蛋黄叶黄素含量和蛋黄颜色显著提高(P<0.05)。虽然LUT和ECE组间的蛋黄叶黄素含量无显著差异,但LUT组有较高的蛋黄叶黄素并且蛋黄叶黄素含量变异性小。在抗氧化活性方面,LUT组肝脏超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性显著高于CON和ECE组(P<0.05),谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GPX)、谷胱甘肽S-转移酶(GST)的活性和脂质过氧化物并没有受到叶黄素来源不同的影响。粮中添加叶黄素和菠菜粗提取物可以显著提高蛋黄叶黄素含量和蛋黄颜色,表明这两种添加剂可以提高鸡蛋中叶黄素的富集。研究表明,与菠菜提取物相比,商业叶黄素有更高的叶黄素含量和更好的蛋品质,并且肝脏SOD活性更高。

Evolution of monsoon climate can be attributed to high altitude topography of the Himalaya—Tibetan Plateau. It is important to decipher the modern monsoon processes in the Indian Ocean so that we will have a better understanding of global evolution of paleoclimate. An international collaborative effort has been expended since 1986 to collect marine particle fluxes in the Arabian Sea where significant amount of organic carbon is fixed annually. Such high biological productivity is mainly due to monsoonal upwelling that occurs twice a year in the region. The southwest (SW) monsoon occurs in June to September and the northeastern (NE) monsoon occurs in November to February with a varying degree depending on the regions. PARFLUX sediment traps were deployed in the bathypelagic zone (2800～3000m) at three locations (Western[16°20′N, 60°30′E], Central[14°31′N, 64°46′E], and Eastern[15°31′N, 68 43′E] Stations) representing different patterns and degrees of the Arabian Sea particle fluxes.
