The identification of jets originating from.quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an im.ortant role in various analyses perform.d at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard m.del m.asurem.nts and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the m.asurem.nt of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated lum.nosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high perform.nces in rejecting jets from.gluon over jets from.quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirem.nts on the num.er of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other com.ines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A m.thod is established to determ.ne the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsam.les defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and sim.lation are provided for jets with transverse m.m.ntum.between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for m.ltiple tagger working points.

AIm. The goal of the current work was to analyse the prevalence of the ＋49A/G variant of the cytotoxic T-lym.hocyte antigen 4 gene （CTLA4） in Hungarian patients with Crohn＇s disease （CD） and ulcerative colitis （UC）. m.THODS： A total of 130 unrelated subjects with CD and 150 with UC, and 170 m.tched controls were genotyped for the single nucleotide polym.rphism.（SNP）. The genotypes were determ.ned by using PCR/RflP test. RESULTS： The G allele frequency and the prevalence of the GG genotype were 38.1% and 12.3% in the CD group, 40.6% and 18.6% in the UC patients, and 37.4% and 15.9% in the control group, respectively. CONCLUSION： The results of the current study show that carriage of the ＋49G SNP in heterozygous or in hom.zygous form.does not confer risk either for CD or for UC in the Hungarian population.

The presence of m.tastases in the oral cavity is considered quietly rare in the literature. Considering m.tastasis of hepatocellular carcinom., the occurrence occurs in approxim.tely 1% of cases. The objective of this study was to report a case of m.tastasis of hepatocellular carcinom. in gingiva, in a patient with a previous diagnosis of cancer presenting a poor prognosis. Furtherm.re, a review of reported cases has already been perform.d and found only 20 reports. This case report em.hasizes the im.ortance of including m.tastases in soft tissue of the m.uth, in the differential diagnosis of lesions with benign aspect.

New serological m.rkers in pediatric patients with inflam.atory bowel disease

The spectrum.of serological m.rkers associated with inflam.atory bowel disease (IBD) is rapidly growing. Due to frequently delayed or m.ssed diagnoses, the application of non-invasive diagnostic tests for IBD, as well as differentiation between ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD), would be useful in the pediatric population. In addition, the com.ination of pancreatic autoantibodies and antibodies against Saccharom.ces cerevisiae antibodies/perinuclear cytoplasm.c antibody (pANCA) im.roved the sensitivity of serological m.rkers in pediatric patients with CD and UC. Som. studies suggested that age-associated differences in the patterns of antibodies m.y be present, particularly in the youngest children. In CD, m.st patients develop stricturing or perforating com.lications, and a significant num.er of patients undergo surgery during the disease course. Based on recent knowledge, serum.antibodies are qualitatively and quantitatively associated with com.licated CD behavior and CD-related surgery. Pediatric UC is characterized by extensive colitis and a high rate of colectom.. In patients with UC, high levels of anti-CBir1 and pANCA are associated with the developm.nt of pouchitis after ileal pouch-anal anastom.sis. Thus, serologic m.rkers for IBD can be applied to stratify IBD patients into m.re hom.geneous subgroups with respect to disease progression. In conclusion, identification of patients at an increased risk of rapid disease progression is of great interest, as the application of early and m.re aggressive pharm.ceutical intervention could have the potential to alter the natural history of IBD, and reduce com.lications and hospitalizations.

In order to study the karstological processes within the karst ecological system.the geohazards and degradation of karst landscapes on the karst areas of the Bakony m.untains(Hungary),we investigated the abiotic elem.nts of the environm.nt,soil and cover deposits,erosion soil decay;the changes in the quantity and quality of karst waters:contam.nation at swallow holes,contam.nation of karst springs;and the biogenic factors:surface vegetation coverage by the corine land cover m.thod,plant-ecological exam.nations,qualification of surface waters with the help of biological water *** recognized that the increasing hum.n activities during the past few centuries have had significant im.act on the investigated landscapes of karst areas because of their spatial *** the scope of our research we concluded that the landscape changes due to natural and hum.n effects can vary strongly on the different karst *** differences can arise from.the clim.tic and geom.rphologic situation,the coverlayer's qualities,etc.,but prim.rily from.the different utilization of the investigated karst areas(*** intensity,characteristics and territorial extension of utilization).On the spot investigation we detected traces of new and fast geom.rphological processes(gully form.tion,landslides,collapses,new sinkhole developm.nt) and landform.(sinkholes,gullies,swallow holes),which are clear evidences of the effect of clim.tic changes.

Augm.nted reality system.to assist inexperienced pool players

Pool and billiards are am.ngst a fam.ly of gam.s played on a table with six pockets along the rails. This paper presents an augm.nted reality tool designed to assist unskilled or am.teur players of such gam.s. The system.is based on a projector and a Kinect 2 sensor placed above the table, acquiring and processing the gam. on-the-fly. By using depth inform.tion and detecting the table's rails(borders),the balls' positions, the cue direction, and the strike of the ball, com.utations predict the resulting balls' trajectories after the shot is played. These results—trajectories, visual effects, and m.nus—are visually output by the projector, m.king them.visible on the snooker table. The system.achieves a shot prediction accuracy of 98% when no bouncing occurs.

Purpose: To dissem.nate the current knowledge about the intestinal inflam.atory processes in children and its approach by ultrasound (US) and provide necessary inform.tion to pediatricians for early diagnosis through this com.lem.ntary m.thod. Source of Data: The sources of data were selected by m.dline, the international m.nuscripts, international m.dical journals m.re relevant in the last 20 years about Gray Scale and Color Doppler Ultrasound in the evaluation of inflam.atory bowel disease in children and adolescents. Conclusions: Several authors have suggested that the ultrasound should be the first study in the diagnostic investigation process in suspected inflam.atory bowel disease to determ.ne the m.st affected region and m.nitor the therapy response. While colonoscopy still rem.ins as the reference diagnostic m.thod, the literature suggests that US can be an extrem.ly useful tool in the context of the suspected diagnosis of a wide variety of intestinal inflam.atory processes in children.
