Transport mechanism in chemically reactive hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic micro-organisms over a curved oscillatory surface

This paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAm).The effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

SBL-JP-0004:A promising dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD against gastric cancer

Background:Gastric cancer(GC)remains a global health burden and is often characterized by heterogeneous molecular profiles and resistance to conventional *** phosphoinositide 3-kinase and PI3K and Janus kinase(JAK)signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK-STAT)pathways play pivotal roles in GC progression,making them attractive targets for therapeutic ***:This study applied a computational and molecular dynamics simulation approach to identify and characterize SBL-JP-0004 as a potential dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD *** and SNU-5 GC cells were used for in vitro ***:SBL-JP-0004 exhibited a robust binding affinity for JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases,as evidenced by molecular docking scores and molecular dynamics *** interactions and gibbs binding free energy estimates confirmed stable and favorable interactions with target ***-JP-0004 displayed an half-maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50))value of 118.9 nm against JAK2 kinase and 200.9 nm against PI3KCD ***-JP-0004 exhibited potent inhibition of cell proliferation in KATOIII and SNU-5 cells,with half-maximal growth inhibitory concentration(gi50)values of 250.8 and 516.3 nm,respectively.A significant elevation in the early phase apoptosis(28.53%in KATOIII cells and 26.85%in SNU-5 cells)and late phase apoptosis(17.37%in KATOIII cells and 10.05%in SNU-5 cells)were observed with SBL-JP-0004 treatment compared to 2.1%and 2.83%in their respective ***:The results highlight SBL-JP-0004 as a promising dual inhibitor targeting JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases for treating GC and warrant further preclinical and clinical investigations to validate its utility in clinical settings.

Enhancement of Performance by Blade Optimization in Two-Stage Ring Blower

This paper describes the shape optimization of an impeller used for two-stage high pressure ring *** shape variables,which are used to define an impeller shape,are introduced to increase the blower *** pressure of a blower is selected as an object function,and the blade optimization is performed by a response surface ***-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are introduced to analyze the internal flow of the blower and to find the value of object function for the training *** good agreement between experimental measurements and numerical simulation is obtained in the present *** the shape optimization,it is found that a hub height is effective to increase pressure in the ring *** pressure rise for the optimal two-stage ring blower is successfully increased up to 1.86% compared with that of reference at the design flow *** recirculation flow having low velocity is formed in both sides of the impeller outlet by different flow direction of the inlet and outlet of the *** flow field inside the ring blower is also analyzed and discussed.

Industry 4.0 refers to the fourth evolution of technology development,which strives to connect people to various industries in terms of achieving their expected outcomes ***,resource management in an Industry 4.0 network is very complex and *** manage and provide suitable resources to each service,we propose a FogQSYm(Fog—Queuing system)model;it is an analytical model for Fog Applications that helps divide the application into several layers,then enables the sharing of the resources in an effective way according to the availability of memory,bandwidth,and network *** follows themarkovian queuing model that helps identify the service rates of the devices,the availability of the system,and the number of jobs in the Industry 4.0 systems,which helps applications process data with a reasonable response *** experiment is conducted using a Cloud Analyst simulator with multiple segments of datacenters in a fog application,which shows that the model helps efficiently provide the arrival resources to the appropriate services with a low response *** implementing the proposed model with different sizes of fog services in Industry 4.0 applications,FogQSYm provides a lower response time than the existing optimized response time *** should also be noted that the average response time increases when the arrival rate increases.

Wounds, characterized by the disruption of the continuity of body tissues resulting from external trauma,manifest in diverse types and locations. Although numerous wound dressings are available for various woundscenarios, it remains challenging to find an integrative wound dressing capable of addressing diverse woundsituations. We focused on utilizing sulfated hyaluronan (sHA), known for its anti-inflammatory properties andcapacity to load cationic drugs. By conjugating catechol groups to sHA (sHA-CA), we achieved several advantagesin wound healing: 1) Fabrication of patches through crosslinking with catechol-modified high-molecularweighthyaluronan (HA(HmW)-CA), 2) Adhesiveness that enabled stable localization, 3) Radical scavenging thatcould synergize with the immunomodulation of sHA. The sHA-CA patches demonstrated therapeutic efficacy inthree distinct murine wound models: diabetic wound, hepatic hemorrhage, and post-surgical adhesion. Collectively,these findings underscore the potential of the sHA-CA patch as a promising candidate for the nextgenerationwound dressing.

Dynamic modeling of a three-dimensional braided composite thin plate considering braiding directions

Currently, there are a limited number of dynamic models available for braided composite plates with large overall motions, despite the incorporation of three-dimensional(3D) braided composites into rotating blade components. In this paper, a dynamic model of 3D 4-directional braided composite thin plates considering braiding directions is established. Based on Kirchhoff's plate assumptions, the displacement variables of the plate are expressed. By incorporating the braiding directions into the constitutive equation of the braided composites, the dynamic model of the plate considering braiding directions is obtained. The effects of the speeds, braiding directions, and braided angles on the responses of the plate with fixed-axis rotation and translational motion, respectively, are investigated. This paper presents a dynamic theory for calculating the deformation of 3D braided composite structures undergoing both translational and rotational motions. It also provides a simulation method for investigating the dynamic behavior of non-isotropic material plates in various applications.

Reversible and controllable threshold voltage modulation for n-channel moS2 and p-channel moTe_(2 )field-effect transistors via multiple counter doping with ODTS/poly-L-lysine charge enhancers

Confronted by the inherent physical limitations in scaling down Si technology,transition metal dichalcogenides(TmDCs)as alternatives are being tremendously researched and paid attention ***,mature counter doping technology for TmDCs is still elusive,and thus,a controllable and reversible charge enhancer is adopted for acceptor(or donor)-like doping via octadecyltrichlorosilane(ODTS)(or poly-L-lysine(PLL))***,multiple counter doping for TmDC field-effect transistors(FETs),combined with a threshold voltage(V;h)freezing scheme,renders the V_(th) modulation controllable,with negligible degradation and decent sustainability of FETs even after each treatment of a representative charge *** parallel,the counter doping mechanism is systematically investigated via photoluminescence spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy(AFm),surface energy characterization,and measurement of optoelectronic properties under illumination with light of various *** impressively,complementary inverters,composed of type-converted molybdenum ditelluride(moTe_(2)>FETs and hetero-TmDC FETs in enhancement mode,are demonstrated via respective ODTS/PLL ***,driving backplane application for micro-light-emitting diode(p-LED)displays and physical validation of a corresponding counter doping scheme even for flexible polyethylene terephthalate(PET)substrates could be leveraged to relieve daunting challenges in the application of nanoscale Si-based three-dimensional(3D)stacked systems,with potential adoption of ultralow power and monolithic optical interconnection technology.
