Perfect Single Qubit mirroring Effects on Two and Three maximally.Entangled Qubits

Perfect quantum state mirroring in a chain of N spins is defined as the condition in which the state 丨i 丨of the chain is swapped into the state 丨N - i丨 within a time evolution interval r. Such a phenomenon is an interesting way.of transfering entanglement. An expressions for the perfect mirroring of a single qubit contained in a spin chain were proposed in the past. We exploit such an expressions for calculating the evolution times in chains of both two and three spins. In the case of a chain of two qubits, we derive conditions under which the associated four Bell states diagonalize the Hamiltonian. It is found that for the two Bell states 丨Ф＋） and 丨Ф-）, perfect mirroring does not occur （i.e. entanglement is not preserved under swapping）. On the other hand, perfect single qubit mirror effect （entanglement preservation） indeed occurs for the other two Bell states 丨ψ＋） and 丨ψ-） which are mapped into 丨Ф＋） and 丨Ф-） respectively. For the case of a chain of three qubits, the effects of a perfect single qubit mirroring on a set of four maximally.entangled three qubit states ψl, ψ2, X1, and X2are studied. Due to the fact that quantum mirroring preserves maximal entanglement, the states ψ1 and ψ2 are not altered. However, quantum mirroring changes the states X1 and X2 only.if we apply.perfect quantum state mirroring in the site a = 1 of the three qubits spin chain. The above constrains the preservation of maximal entanglement under qubit mirroring of such a state. Due to the fact that swapping has already.been experimentally.tested, a posible, experimental implementations of single qubit mirroring is possible.

Shannon entropy.for lower position and momentum eigenstates of Ptschl-Teller-like potential is evaluated. Based on the entropy.densities demonstrated graphically. we note that the wave through of the position information entropy.density.p （x） moves right when the potential parameter V1 increases and its amplitude decreases. However, its wave through moves left with the increase in the potential parameter 丨V2丨. Concerning the momentum information entropy.density.p（p）, we observe that its amplitude increases with increasing potential parameter V1, but its amplitude decreases with increasing丨V2丨. The Bialy.icki-Birula-my.ielski （BBm） inequality.has also been tested for a number of states. moreover, there exist eigenstates that exhibit squeezing in the momentum information entropy. Finally. we note that position information entropy.increases with V1, but decreases with 丨V2丨, However, the variation of momentum information entropy.is contrary.to that of the position information entropy.

We sy.thesized the pure and indium-doped （IZO） ZnO films with a facile composition control spray.py.oly.is route. The substrate temperature （Ts） and In-doping effects on the properties of as-grown films are inves- tigated. The X-ray.pattern confirms that the as-sy.thesized ZnO phase is grown along a （002） preferential plane. It is revealed that the cry.talline structure is improved with a substrate temperature of 350 ℃ moreover, the morphol- ogy.of as-grown films, analy.ed by.AFm, shows nanostructures that have grown along the c-axis. The （3 ×3 μm2） area scanned AFm surface studies give the smooth film surface RmS 〈 40 nm. The UV-VIS-IR measurements reveal that the spray.d films are highly.transparent in the visible and IR bands. The photoluminescence analy.is shows that the strong blue and y.llow luminescences of 2.11 and 2.81 eV are emitted from ZnO and IZO films with a slight shift in photon energy.caused by.In-doping. The band gap is a bit widened by.In-doping, 3.21 eV （ZnO） and 3.31 eV （IZO） and the resistivity.is reduced from 385 to 8Ω·m. An interesting result is the resistivity.linear dependence on the substrate temperature of pure ZnO films.

This paper addresses the problem of modelling, control, and simulation of a mechanical sy.tem actuated by.an agonist-antagonist musculotendon subsy.tem. Contraction dy.amics is given by.case 1 of Zajac＇s model. Saturated semi positive proportional-derivative-ty.e controllers with switching as neural excitation inputs are proposed. Stability.theory.of switched sy.tem and SOSTOOLS, which is a sum of squares optimization toolbox of matlab, are used to determine the stability.of the obtained closed-loop sy.tem. To corroborate the obtained theoretical results numerical simulations are carried out. As additional contribution, the discussed ideas are applied to the biomimetic control of a DC motor, i.e., the position control is addressed assuming the presence of musculotendon actuators. Real-experiments corroborate the expected results.

In simulations of fluidized beds using computational fluid dy.amics （CFD）, the description of gas-solid flow hy.rody.amics relies on a drag model to account for the momentum transfer between gas and solid phases. Although several studies of drag models have been published, there have been few investigations of the application of lattice Boltzmann method （LBm）-based drag models to bubbling fluidized bed simu- lations. In the present study. a comprehensive comparison of empirical and LBm-based drag models was carried out to assess the performance of these models during simulations of gas-solid flow hy.rody.am- ics in a bubbling fluidized bed. A CFD model using the mFIX code based on the Eulerian-Eulerian approach and the kinetic theory.of granular flow was used to simulate a 2D bubbling fluidized bed with Geldart B particles. The simulation results were validated by.comparison with experimental data. Statistical anal- y.is of the results shows that LBm-based drag models can reliably.model gas-solid flow hy.rody.amics in a bubbling fluidized bed.

Silica gel and mCm-41 sy.thesized mesoporous materials were treated with either oxy.en（O_2）,hexamethy.disiloxane（HmDSO） and organic vapors like ethanol（Et OH）,and acry.onitrile（AN）inductive *** radiofrequency.power for the modification was fixed to 120 W and30 min,assuring a high degree of organic ionization energy.in the *** surface properties were studied by.infrared spectroscopy.FTIR）,scanning electron microscopy.x-ray.photoelectron spectroscopy.and dy.amic light scattering technique was used for characterizing size *** the silica and mCm-41 particles were modified by.AN and HmDSO plasma gases,the surface morphology.of the particles was changed,presenting another color,size or *** contrast,the treatments of oxy.en and Et OH did not affect the surface morphology.of both particles,but increased the oxy.en content at the surface bigger than the AN and HmDSO plasma *** this study.we investigated the influence of different plasma treatments on changes in morphology.and the chemical composition of the modified particles which render them a possible new adsorbent for utilization in sorptive extraction techniques for polar compounds.

Hy.ertensive crises are elevations of blood pressure higher than 180/120 mmHg. These can be urgent or emergent, depending on the presence of end organ damage. The clinical presentation of hy.ertensive crises is quite variable in elderly.patients, and clinicians must be suspicious of non-specific sy.ptoms. managing hy.ertensive crises in elderly.patients needs meticulous knowledge of the pathophy.iological changes in them, pharmacological options, pharmacokinetics of the medications used, their side effects, and their interactions with other medications. Clevidipine, nicardipine, labetalol, esmolol, and fenoldopam are among the preferred choices in the elderly.due to their efficacy.and tolerability. Nitroprusside, hy.ralazine, and nifedipine should be avoided, unless there are no other options available, due to the high risk of complications and unpredictable responses.

AIm: To evaluate the prevalence of metabolic sy.drome (mS), obesity.and ty.e 2 diabetes mellitus (T2Dm) in a group of mexican mestizo patients with cry.togenic cirrhosis (CC) and to compare this group with patients with cirrhosis secondary.to other causes (disease controls). mETHODS: Patients with CC, diagnosed between January. 1990 and April, 2005, were included in a retrospective study. Patients with cirrhosis caused by.chronic hepatitis C, alcohol abuse or autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) served as disease controls. RESULTS: A total of 134 patients with CC were analy.ed. Disease controls consisted of 81 patients with chronic hepatitis C, 33 with alcohol abuse and 20 with AIH. The median age of patients with CC was 57 y.ars (range, 16-87); 83 (61.9%) patients were female; 53 (39.6%) were Child A, 65 (48.5%) Child B, and 16 (11.9%) were Child C cirrhosis. The prevalence of mS (29.1% vs 6%; P y.(16.4% vs 8.2%; P = 0.04) and T2Dm (40% vs 22.4%; P = 0.013) was higher in CC patients than in disease controls. There were no differences in sex, age or liver function tests between the two groups. CONCLUSION: The prevalence of mS, obesity.nd T2Dm were higher in patients with CC than in patients with cirrhosis secondary.to others causes. Our findings support the hy.othesis that non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) play. an under-recognized role in CC.

Flowrate control in flexible bioelectronics with targeted drug delivery.capabilities is essential to ensure timely.and safe *** neuroscience and pharmacogenetics studies in small animals,these flexible bioelectronic sy.tems can be tailored to deliver small drug volumes on a controlled fashion without damaging surrounding tissues from stresses induced by.excessively.high *** drug delivery.process is realized by.an electrochemical reaction that pressurizes the internal bioelectronic chambers to deform a flexible poly.er membrane that pumps the drug through a network of microchannels implanted in the small *** flowrate temporal profile and global maximum are governed and can be modeled by.the ideal gas ***,we obtain an analy.ical solution that groups the relevant mechanical,fluidic,environmental,and electrochemical terms involved in the drug delivery.process into a set of three nondimensional *** unique combinations of these three nondimensional parameters(related to the initial pressure,initial gas volume,and microfluidic resistance)can be used to model the flowrate and scale up the flexible bioelectronic design for experiments in medium and large animal *** analy.ical solution is divided into(1)a fast variable that controls the maximum flowrate and(2)a slow variable that models the temporal ***,the two variables detail the complete drug delivery.process and control using the three nondimensional *** of the analy.ical model with alternative numerical models shows excellent agreement and validates the analy.ic modeling *** findings serve as a theoretical framework to design and optimize future flexible bioelectronic sy.tems used in biomedical research,or related medical fields,and analy.ically.control the flowrate and its global maximum for successful drug delivery.
