Spatial variability of soil hydraulic and physical properties in erosive sloping agricultural fields

It is essential to minimize soil quality degradation in sloping agricultural fields through stabilization and improvement of soil hydraulic properties using sustainable soil *** study aimed to analyze the impact of different tillage practices,including conventional tillage(CT),minimum tillage(mT),and zero tillage(ZT),on soil hydraulic conductivity in a sloping agricultural field under maizeewheat *** results showed that the highest runoff volume(257.40 m3),runoff coefficient(42.84%),and soil loss(11.3 t)were observed when the CT treatment was *** contrast,the lowest runoff volume(67.95 m3),runoff coefficient(11.35%),and soil loss(1.05 t)were observed when the ZT treatment was *** soil organic carbon and aggregate mean weight diameter were found to be significantly greater(with mean values of 0.79%and 1.19 mm,respectively)with the ZT treatment than with the CT *** the tilled treatments(CT and mT),substantial changes in the saturated soil hydraulic conductivity(ks),near-saturated soil hydraulic conductivity(k),and water-conducting porosity(ε)were observed between two crop *** three soil parameters were significantly higher in the period after maize harvesting than in the wheat growing *** contrast,no significant difference in these soil parameters was found when the untilled treatment(ZT)was carried *** regard to the slope positions,ks,k,andεshowed different behaviors under different *** toe slope position showed significantly lower ks andεvalues than the summit and middle slope *** the evaluated tillage practices,ZT was found to be the most promising means to improve the soil hydro-physical properties and effectively reduce surface runoff and soil erosion.

Herein,we report the synthesis of Zn_(0.7)mg_(0.3)Nd_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)(where,x=0,0,0,01,0,02)ferrite nanoparticles by employing the sol-gel auto-combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)pattern suggests the formation of a pure cubic structure,without any impurity phase,with an Fd3m space group at room *** increasing doping amount,the crystallite size is reported as 35-41 nm,while the lattice parameters rise from 0.8381 to 0.8395 *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm)images show the formation of spherical grains with agglomerated morphology in all the samples,with grain sizes ranging from 49 to 103 *** dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)and elemental mapping investigation confirm the chemical purity of all the *** transform infrared(FTIR)analysis shows the presence of two prominent peaks around 440 and 560 cm^(-1)that correspond to the octahedral and tetrahedral *** addition,the existence of five Raman active vibratio nal modes in all produced specimens again confirms the structural purity of all the *** m-H curve shows that saturation magnetization(m_(s))first increases from 14.98 to 28.22 emu/g and then decreases to 18.98emu/g with increasing doping *** is due to the A-B type super-exchange interaction for the synthesized *** variation in coercivity(H_(c))and magnetic anisotropy(K_(1))suggest the thermal stability of all the samples and can be utilized in transformers and solenoids.

Lycopene modulates cellular proliferation, glycolysis and hepatic ultrastructure during hepatocellular carcinoma

AImTo investigate the effect of lycopene extracted from tomatoes (LycT) on ultrastructure, glycolytic enzymes, cell proliferation markers and hypoxia during N-Nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA)-induced hepatocarcinogenesis. mETHODSFemale BALB/c mice were randomly divided into four groups: The Control, NDEA (200 mg NDEA/kg b.w. given i.p.), LycT (5 mg/kg b.w. given orally on alternate days) and LycT + NDEA group. The mRNA and protein expression of various cell proliferation markers (PCNA, Cyclin D1, and p21) were assessed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. The ultrastructure of hepatic tissue was analyzed using scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The enzymatic activity of glycolytic enzymes was estimated using standardized protocols, while glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity level was estimated using a kit obtained from Reckon Diagnostic P. Ltd. (India). RESULTSUncontrolled proliferation in the liver of NDEA (P ≤ 0.001) mice was evident from the high expression of cell-proliferation associated genes (PCNA, Cyclin D1, and p21) when compared to control and LycT mice. In addition, enhanced activities of hexokinase, phosphoglucoisomerase, aldolase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α were observed in NDEA mice as compared to control (P ≤ 0.001) and LycT (P ≤ 0.001) mice. The alterations in hepatic ultrastructure observed in the NDEA group correlated with the changes in the above parameters. LycT pre-treatment in NDEA-challenged mice ameliorated the investigated pathways disrupted by NDEA treatment. moreover, hepatic electron micrographs from the LycT + NDEA group showed increased macrophages, apoptotic bodies and well-differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in comparison to undifferentiated HCC as observed in the NDEA treated group. Implementation of N-Bit Binary multiplication Using N - 1 Bit multiplication Based on Nikhilam Sutra and Karatsuba Principles Using Complement method

This paper is designed to introduce new hybrid Vedic algorithm to increase the speed of the multiplier. This work combines the principles of Nikhilam sutra and Karatsuba algorithm. Vedic mathematics is the mathematical system to solve the complex computations in an easier manner. There are specific sutras to perform multiplication. Nikhilam sutra is one of the sutra. But this has some limitations. To overcome the limitations, this sutra is combined with Karatsuba algorithm. High speed devices are required for high speed applications with compact size. Normally multipliers require more power for its computation. In this paper, new multiplication algorithm for the multiplication of binary numbers is proposed based on Vedic mathematics. The novel portion in the algorithm is found to be in the calculation of remainder using complement method. The size of the remainder is always set as N - 1 bit for any combination of input. The multiplier structure is designed based on Karatsuba algorithm. Therefore, N × N bit multiplication is done by (N - 1) bit multiplication. Numerical strength reduction is done through Karatsuba algorithm. The results show that the reduction in hardware leads to reduction in the delay.

Heart disease prognosis(HDP)is a difficult undertaking that requires knowledge and expertise to predict early *** failure is on the rise as a result of today’s *** healthcare business generates a vast volume of patient records,which are challenging to manage *** it comes to data mining and machine learning,having a huge volume of data is crucial for getting meaningful *** methods for predictingHDhave been used by researchers over the last few decades,but the fundamental concern remains the uncertainty factor in the output data,aswell as the need to decrease the error rate and enhance the accuracy of HDP assessment ***,in order to discover the optimal HDP solution,this study compares multiple classification algorithms utilizing two separate heart disease datasets from the Kaggle repository and the University of California,Irvine(UCI)machine learning *** a comparative analysis,mean Absolute Error(mAE),Relative Absolute Error(RAE),precision,recall,fmeasure,and accuracy are used to evaluate Linear Regression(LR),Decision Tree(J48),Naive Bayes(NB),Artificial Neural Network(ANN),Simple Cart(SC),Bagging,Decision Stump(DS),AdaBoost,Rep Tree(REPT),and Support Vector machine(SVm).Overall,the SVm classifier surpasses other classifiers in terms of increasing accuracy and decreasing error rate,with RAE of 33.2631 andmAEof 0.165,the precision of 0.841,recall of 0.835,f-measure of 0.833,and accuracy of 83.49 percent for the dataset gathered from *** SC improves accuracy and reduces the error rate for the Kaggle dataset,which is 3.30%for RAE,0.016 percent for mAE,0.984%for precision,0.984 percent for recall,0.984 percent for f-measure,and 98.44%for accuracy.

migroGrid(mG)has emerged to resolve the growing demand for *** because of its inconsistent output,it can result in various power quality(PQ)*** is a problem that is becoming more and more important for the reliability of power systems that use renewable energy ***,the employment of nonlinear loads will introduce harmonics into the system and,as a result,cause distortions in the current and voltage waveforms as well as low power quality issues in the supply ***,this research focuses on power quality enhancement in the mG using hybrid shunt ***,the performance of the filter mainly depends upon the design,and stability of the *** efficiency of the proposed filter is enhanced by incorporating an enhanced adaptive fuzzy neural network(AFNN)*** performance of the proposed topology is examined in a mATLAB/Simulink environment,and experimental findings are provided to validate the effectiveness of this ***,the results of the proposed controller are compared with Adaptive Fuzzy Back-Stepping(AFBS)and Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding(AFS)to prove its superiority over power quality improvement in *** the analysis,it can be observed that the proposed system reduces the total harmonic distortion by about 1.8%,which is less than the acceptable limit standard.

Influence of Treatment of <i>Jatropha curcas</i>L. Leachates and Potassium on Growth and Phytochemical Constituents of Wheat (<i>Triticum aestivum</i>L.)

Jatropha curcas L. commonly known as “physic nut” is an exotic species that shows invasive characters. Plantation of Jatropha species is being undertaken at a large scale for biodiesel production. The plants defoliate their leaves twice a year and have been shown to possess certain antinutritional factors. Seeds of Jatropha are removed from mature dried fruits for oil extraction and ovary walls are discarded. For the present experiments leachates from sun dried leaves and ovary walls of Jatropha curcas L. were used for analyzing their possible allelopathic effects on the growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cultivar, mP-4010). Leachate treatments result in slight decrease in growth in terms of plant height, leaf area, biomass, spike length and 100 seed weight of wheat and increase in total phenols, tannins, phytic acid and free amino acids. Results suggest that the leachates of leaf and ovary wall of Jatropha curcas are slightly inhibitory, however the impact does not last long. Nevertheless, continuous plantation may lead to accumulation of damaging constituents which reflects the need for further analysis and experimentation.

目的应用生物信息学的方法分析筛选头颈部鳞状细胞癌(HNSCC)巨噬细胞中的潜在关键基因,为HNSCC的预后提供靶点。方法基于在线数据库,利用一致流形近似与投影(UmAP)降维,捕获巨噬细胞群;进一步通过t-分布随机近邻嵌入(tSNE)聚类降维分析肿瘤组织与正常组织细胞群分布的变化并筛选差异基因的表达;运用monocle包对关键风险基因在不同发育阶段细胞中的表达情况进行分析;利用Kaplan-meier Plotter在线数据平台分析生存曲线;运用空间转录组技术验证关键基因在组织中的表达映射;多色荧光免疫组化进行临床样本的验证。结果捕获得到7个巨噬细胞亚群,其中第1亚群仅存在于肿瘤组织中且分泌型磷蛋白1(SPP1)基因高富集。SPP1高表达趋向巨噬细胞m2型极化并处于细胞分化的终末阶段。SPP1+巨噬细胞糖酵解、缺氧、上皮间质化、血管生成等功能活跃,与HNSCC患者的预后呈负相关。结论 SPP1可能成为HNSCC中有价值的预后生物标志物。

Our understanding about the epidemiological aspects,pathogenesis,molecular diagnosis,and targeted therapies of neuroendocrine neoplasms(NENs)have drastically advanced in the past ***(GEP)NENs originate from the enteroendocrine cells of the embryonic gut which share common endocrine and neural differentiation *** NENs are welldifferentiated,and slow *** neuroendocrine biomarkers that are used in the diagnosis of functional NENs include insulin,glucagon,vasoactive intestinal polypeptide,gastrin,somatostatin,adrenocorticotropin,growth hormone releasing hormone,parathyroid hormone-related peptide,serotonin,histamine,and 5-hydroxy indole acetic acid(5-HIAA).Biomarkers such as pancreatic polypeptide,human chorionic gonadotrophin subunits,neurotensin,ghrelin,and calcitonin are used in the diagnosis of non-functional NENs.5-HIAA levels correlate with tumour burden,prognosis and development of carcinoid heart disease and mesenteric fibrosis,however several diseases,medications and edible products can falsely elevate the 5-HIAA ***-specific transcription factors are useful in the differential diagnosis of metastasis from an unknown primary of well-differentiated *** novel biomarkers include circulating tumour cells,circulating tumour DNA,circulating micro-RNAs,and neuroendocrine neoplasms test(NETest)(simultaneous measurement of 51 neuroendocrine-specific marker genes in the peripheral blood).NETest has high sensitivity(85%-98%)and specificity(93%-97%)for the detection of gastrointestinal NENs,and is useful for monitoring treatment response,recurrence,and *** terms of management,surgery,radiofrequency ablation,symptom control with medications,chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapies are all considered as *** is the mainstay of treatment,but depends on factors including age of the individual,location,stage,grade,functional status,and the heredity of the tumour(sporadic vs inherited).me
