Achieving a straightforward design of tough,printable,and adaptable polymeric eutectogels is still challenging in related fields due to the uncontrollable polymerization and solvent-exchanging processes,and inherent contrasting multiple ***,we report a one-step synergistic strategy based on ruthenium chemistry-catalyzed photopolymerization and solvent effect for preparing high-performance *** orthogonal ruthenium photochemistry helps multinetworks formation via phenol-coupling of gelatin and copolymerization of acrylamide(AAm)and[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium tetrafluoroborate(mETA)monomers in *** obvious difference in the supramolecular interactions of free AAm monomers and polymerized units in P(AAm-co-mETA)with deep eutectic solvents(DESs)significantly promotes the microphase-separation behavior in ***,the in situ polymerization and microphase-separation behavior enable the as-prepared eutectogel materials to have excellent mechanical properties(stress of∼1.2 mPa),toughness(∼4.0 mJ m^(−3)),elasticity,adaptivity,and conductivity(∼0.5 S m^(−1)at room temperature).Also,the critical strength of the resultant eutectogels can be modulated by varying the DES *** rapid and well-controlled synergistic approach is compatible with extrusion printing techniques to make flexible sensors with high sensitivities and response times to detect pressure in a range of 0–500 *** a general and simple strategy has application potential in biological,engineering,and material sciences.

Heavy flavor particles provide important probes of the microscopic structure and thermodynamic properties of the quark-gluon plasma(QGP)produced in high-energy nucleus-nucleus *** studied the energy loss and flow of charm and bottom quarks inside the QGP via the nuclear modification factor(R_(AA))and elliptic flow coefficient(v_(2))of their decayed leptons in heavy-ion collisions at the *** dynamical evolution of the QGP was performed using the CLVisc(3+1)-dimensional viscous hydrodynamics model;the evolution of heavy quarks inside the QGP was simulated with our improved Langevin model that considers both collisional and radiative energy loss of heavy quarks;the hadronization of heavy quarks was simulated via our hybrid coalescence-fragmentation model;and the semi-leptonic decay of D and B mesons was simulated via *** the same spatial diffusion coefficient for charm and bottom quarks,we obtained smaller R_(AA) and larger v_(2) of charm decayed leptons than bottom decayed leptons,indicating stronger energy loss of charm quarks than bottom quarks inside the QGP within our current model setup.

Ratoon rice,which refers to a second harvest of rice obtained from the regenerated tillers originating from the stubble of the first harvested crop,plays an important role in both food security and agroecology while requiring minimal agricultural ***,accurately identifying ratoon rice crops is challenging due to the similarity of its spectral features with other rice cropping systems(e.g.,double rice).moreover,images with a high spatiotemporal resolution are essential since ratoon rice is generally cultivated in fragmented croplands within regions that frequently exhibit cloudy and rainy *** this study,taking Qichun County in Hubei Province,China as an example,we developed a new phenology-based ratoon rice vegetation index(PRVI)for the purpose of ratoon rice mapping at a 30 m spatial resolution using a robust time series generated from Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2(HLS)*** PRVI that incorporated the red,near-infrared,and shortwave infrared 1 bands was developed based on the analysis of spectro-phenological separability and feature *** on actual field samples,the performance of the PRVI for ratoon rice mapping was carefully evaluated by comparing it to several vegetation indices,including normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),enhanced vegetation index(EVI)and land surface water index(LSWI).The results suggested that the PRVI could sufficiently capture the specific characteristics of ratoon rice,leading to a favorable separability between ratoon rice and other land cover ***,the PRVI showed the best performance for identifying ratoon rice in the phenological phases characterized by grain filling and harvesting to tillering of the ratoon crop(GHS-TS2),indicating that only several images are required to obtain an accurate ratoon rice ***,the PRVI performed better than NDVI,EVI,LSWI and their combination at the GHS-TS2 stages,with producer's accuracy and user's accuracy of 92.22 and 89.30%,respectively

The sinking of phytoplankton is critical to organic matter transportation in the ocean and it is an essential process for the formation of coastal hypoxic *** study was based on a field investigation conducted during the summer of 2022 in the Changjiang River(Yangtze River) Estuary(CJE) and its adjacent *** settling column method was employed to measure the sinking velocity(SV) of different size fractions of phytoplankton at the surface of the sea and to analyze their environmental control *** findings reveal significant spatial variation in phytoplankton SV(-0.55-2.41 m/d) within the ***-speed sinking was predominantly observed in phosphate-depleted regions beyond the CJE *** the same time,an upward trend was more commonly observed in the phosphate-rich regions near the CJE *** SV ranges for different sizefractionated phytoplankton,including micro-(>20 μm),nano-(2-20 μm),and picophytoplankton(0.7-2 μm),were-0.50-4.74 m/d,-1.04-1.59 m/d,and-1.24-1.65 m/d,*** analysis revealed a significant negative correlation between SV and dissolved inorganic phosphorus(DIP),implying that the influence of DIP contributes to *** variations in phytoplankton alkaline phosphatase activity suggested a significant increase in SV across all size fractions in the event of phosphorus *** communities with limited photo synthetic capacity(maximum photochemical efficience,Fv/Fm mmunities with strong capacity,suggesting a link between sinking and alterations in physiological conditions due to phosphate *** findings from the in situ phosphate enrichment experiments confirmed a marked decrease in SV following phosphate *** findings suggest that phosphorus limitation is the primary driver of elevated SV in the *** study enhances the comprehension of the potential mechanisms underlying hypoxic zone formation in the CJE,providing no

Developing electrocatalysts that exhibit both high activity and ammonia selectivity for nitrate reduction is a significant and demanding challenge,primarily due to the complex nature of the multiple-electron reduction process *** encouraging approach involves coupling highly active precious metals with transition metals to enhance catalytic performance through ***,we report a ruthenium-nickel alloy catalyst with nanosheets(Ru-Ni NSs)structure that achieves a remarkable ammonia Faradaic efficiency of approximately 95.93%,alongside a yield rate of up to 6.11 g·h^(−1)·cm^(−2).moreover,the prepared Ru-Ni NSs exhibit exceptional stability during continuous nitrate reduction in a flow reactor for 100 h,maintaining a Faradaic efficiency of approximately 90%and an ammonia yield of 37.4 mg·L^(−1)·h^(−1)using 0.05 m nitrate alkaline *** studies reveal that the catalytic process follows a two-step pathway,in which HONO serves as a migration *** presence of a partially oxidized Ru(002)surface enhances the adsorption of nitrate and facilitates the release of the migration intermediate by adjusting the strength of the electrostatic and covalent interactions between the adsorbate and the surface,*** the other hand,the Ni(111)surface promotes the utilization of the migration intermediate and requires less energy for NH_(3)*** tandem process contributes to a high catalytic activity of Ru-Ni NSs towards nitrate reduction.

Chiral luminescence materials have potential applications in the field of three-dimensional displays due to their circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)***,the further development of circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes(CP-OLEDs)needs to meet the requirements of high efficiency,high color purity,low cost,and high dissymmetry factor(gPLor gEL),chiral multiple resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence(mR-TADF)materials are considered as candidates in these ***,based on a pair of chiral spirofluorene precursors,two pairs of high-performance chiral mR-TADF emitters((R/S)-p-Spiro-DtBuCzB and(R/S)-m-Spiro-DtBuCzB)are developed,which exhibit strong emissions peaking at 491 and 502 nm in toluene with full-width at half-maximum values of 25 and 33 nm,*** addition,small singlet–triplet energy gaps of 0.15 and 0.10 eV with high absolute photoluminescence efficiencies of 95.0%and 96.7%are observed for p-Spiro-DtBuCzB and m-Spiro-DtBuCzB molecules,*** based on p-Spiro-DtBuCzB and m-Spiro-DtBuCzB display high maximum external quantum efficiencies of 29.6%and 33.8%,*** importantly,CP-OLEDs present symmetric circularly polarized electroluminescence spectra with|gEL|factors of 3.36×10^(-4)and 7.66×10^(-4)for devices based on(R/S)-p-Spiro-DtBuCzB and(R/S)-m-Spiro-DtBuCzB enantiomers,respectively.

The prevalence of obesity has increased and is a health concern *** to the concerns regarding synthetic anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural products become a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effect of crude polysaccharide of amyloglucosidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum thunbergii(STAC)and its fucoidan fractions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose content and exhibited significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation by downregulating adipogenic and lipogenic proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAC significantly declined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid contents in an HFD-induced obesity mouse *** and chemical characterizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has consistent surface morphology and small particle size,with similar structural characteristics as commercial ***,these results indicate that STAC and purified STAF3 from Sargassum thunbergia is a potent source to develop as ananti-obesity agents or functional food products to counter obesity.
