The present note consists, the effects of thermal diffusion and chemical reaction on mhd flow of dusty viscous incom-pressible, electrically conducting fluid between two vertical heated, porous, parallel plates with heat source/sink. The plate temperature is raised linearly with time and concentration level near the plate to Cw. The variable temperature and uniform mass diffusion taking into account the chemical reaction of first order. The series solution method is used to solve the mathematical equations. Effects of various parameters like chemical reaction (K), thermal diffusion (ST) and magnetic field (m) etc. on velocity profile, skin friction, concentration profile and temperature field are displayed graphically and discussed numerically for different physical parameters. The analysis developed here for thermal diffusion, bears good agreement with real life problems.

AIm To investigate the role of genetic variants of angiotensin converting enzyme(ACE) and angiotensinogen(AGT) genes in the antiproteinuric efficacy of ACE inhibitor therapy in diabetic nephropathy(DN) *** In the present study, 270 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with nephropathy were enrolled and treated with ACE inhibitor(ramipril) and followed at 6 mo for renal function and albumin excretion by estimating serum creatinine, end stage renal disease, and albumin/creatinine ratio(ACr) in urine. Genotyping of ACE I/D and AGT m235 T polymorphisms were performed by using primer specific polymerase chain reaction(PCr) and PCr-rFLP techniques, respectively. rESULTS Forty-eight percent of DN patients(responders) benefited with respect to proteinuria from ACE inhibitor therapy at 6 mo follow-up. A significant reduction in ACr was observed after 6 mo treatment with ACE inhibitor irrespective of whether DN patients were micro-albuminuric(≥ 30 and mg/g creatinine) or macro-albuminuric(≥ 300 mg/g creatinine) at the time of enrollment. However, macro-albuminuric patients(55%) showed better response to therapy. A reduction in urinary ACr was found independent of genotypes of ACE I/D and AGT m235 T polymorphisms although macro-albuminuric patients having TT genotype showed statistically insignificant increased response(72%). CONCLUSION ACE inhibitor therapy reduced urinary ACr by ≥ 30% in 50% of DN patients and the response is independent of ACE I/D and AGT m235 T polymorphisms.

moringa oleifera Lam.(Shigru)(moringaceae family) is a traditional medicine used for control of diabetes, obesity, asthma, and cardiac,liver, gastrointestinal, infective, and brain disorders, such as depression and Alzheimer's disease. In Ayurvedic literature, Shigru is among few drugs having Balya(nourishing) as well as medohara(antiobesity) property. This review focuses on valid connections between the properties documented in ancient literature and current pharmacological knowledge of moringa, including pharmacological actions, phytochemistry,botanical description, and how moringa can tackle malnutrition in India, especially Chhattisgarh. All information about m. oleifera was obtained from electronic scientific databases such as Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Elsevier, Google Scholar, Traditional Knowledge Digital Library, and Indian Traditional Books(Ancient Ayurveda literatures, The Wealth of India, and The Ayurvedic Formulary of India), postgraduate/doctoral thesis, and googling the keyword m. oleifera. m. oleifera have anti-oxidant, antimicrobial, anti-diabetic,anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective, gastroprotective, wound-healing properties and it can potentially tackle malnutrition. This review describes the key information related to botanical description of m. oleifera, phytochemistry,pharmacological actions, clinical studies, toxicological studies, better utilization as food therapeutics, and ethnobotanical and evidence-based comparative review of m. oleifera. m. oleifera can effectively tackle malnutrition in India, especially Chhattisgarh. The authors emphasize the need for future in-depth ethnopharmacological lead-based research and clinical studies to expand m. oleifera pharmacological activities,clinical efficacy, and safety.

Optical bistability （0t3） and optical multi-stability （om） of a four-level A-type atomic system with two fold lower levels inside a unidirectional ring cavity is investigated. The effect of quantum interference arising from spontaneous emission and incoherent pumping on 013 and om is discussed. It is found that the threshold of OB and om can be controlled by quantum interference mechanisms. In addition intensity of coupling field and the rate of an incoherent pumping field on behavior of OB and om are then discussed.

Glycerol is the main byproduct from the production of biodiesel by transesterification of vegetable oils, and approximately 10% of total biodiesel production volume corresponds to glycerol. The profitability of various chemical processes depends, in part, on the sale of byproducts, which enables a reduction in the production costs and consequently, in the product’s final price. Thus, it is necessary to look for alternatives to solve the problem of glycerol buildup, in order to avoid future environmental impacts and make biodiesel competitive in the growing market of biofuels. In this context, this study’s objective is the development of a low cost and environmental clean technology that allows the conversion of glycerin into a greater value product. In this paper, an economic evaluation of production hydrogen using Aqueous Phase reforming (APr) was conducted. Firstly, we detailed the technical assumptions in the study. reactions were performed in batch reformer of 10 liters of capacity, at the temperature of 250℃ and pressure of 38 atm. Finally, a sensitivity analysis was performed. The results from economic evaluation show that APr of glycerol, using nickel catalysts supported on alumina or zirconium oxide, is a promising and competitive technology for hydrogen production.

microstructural stability of IN939 superalloy with two different manufacturing routes was investigated during long-term aging at elevated temperatures by light optical microscope（om） and scanning electron microscope（SEm） equipped with an EDS *** results show mat the coarsening behavior of γ＇ particles is primarily impacted by the initial heat treatment conditions,and the effect of the prior manufacturing route（casting or hot forming） is found to be insignificant,if any,on the γ＇ particles coarsening *** the temperature range of 790-827 ℃,IN939 cast/wrought-HT2 alloys have more microstructural stability,while in the temperature range of 827-910 ℃,the initial heat treatment marked as HT1 provides more stable microstructure for the cast or wrought IN939 superalloy.

Hydroesterification process has been presented biodiesel production from oil the green microalga Nannochloropsis oculata raw materials. Biodiesel studied in this work is the main product got from the hydroesterification of biomass the Nannochloropsis oculata and was obtained from esterification of fatty acid (product of a hydrolysis reaction) with methanol. It was used as catalyst the niobic acid pure and supported on δ-aluminum. The product was evaluated by gas chromatography and other analyses. The optimum conditions found in the conversion (%) for the hydrolysis reactions of the biomass (92.3%). Better results were observed in the algae concentration 20%, lead at 300?C with 20% of catalyst. For esterification of fatty acids of Nannochloropsis oculata (92.24%), were observed the molar ratio methanol: fat acid 3, lead at 200°C with 20% of catalyst supported.

This study is the first to explore the potential associations among allergic conjunctivitis(AC),air pollution,and meteorological conditions in Northeast *** of meteorology,ambient atmospheric pollutants,and the incidence of allergic conjunctivitis(IAC)in prefecture-level cities between the years 2014 and 2018 are *** results show an increasing trend in the AC of average growth rate per annum 7.6%,with the highest incidence in the provincial *** IAC is positively correlated with atmospheric pollutants(i.e.,Pm_(2.5),Pm_(10),CO,SO_(2),NO_(2),and O_(3))and meteorological factors(i.e.,air temperature and wind speed),but negatively correlated with relative *** results suggest that the IAC is directly proportional to pollution level and climatic conditions,and also the precedence of air *** have further obtained the threshold values of atmospheric pollutants concentration and meteorological factors,a turning point above which more AC may be *** with the air quality standard advised by China and the World Health Organization(WHO),both thresholds of Pm_(10)(70μg m^(-3))and Pm_(2.5)(45μg m^(-3))are higher than current standards and pose a less environmental risk for the ***_(2) threshold(23μg m^(-3))is comparable to the WHO standard and significantly lower than that of China’s,indicating greater environmental risks in *** thresholds of NO_(2)(27μg m^(-3))and O_(3)(88μg m^(-3))are below current standards,indicating that they are major environmental risk factors for the *** findings highlight the importance of atmospheric environmental protection and reference for health-based amendment.

Accurate time transfer and synchronization between different network nodes is a key functional requirement in digital communication. Developments in optical fiber-based frequency dissemination techniques have improved optical frequency stability over time to much lower levels. In this work, we experimentally present the reference frequency transfer employing 850 nm vertical cavity surface emitting laser(VCSEL) over 100.3 m om3 multimode fiber for synchronization of clocks on networked devices such as servers and racks/pod at different data center network nodes. A low-cost power-efficient multimode VCSEL with central wavelength at 844.26 nm is directly modulated with a 2 GHz reference frequency(rF) clock signal, and transferred over 100.3 m of om3 multimode fiber. The single side band(SSB) phase noise of-104.62 dBc/Hz and-100.70 dBc/Hz is experimentally measured at back-to-back(B2 B) and 100.3 m om3 multimode fiber transmission respectively at a 1 kHz frequency offset. The jitter stability of 0.14 ps and 0.15 ps is experimentally achieved at B2 B and 100.3 m fiber transmission, respectively. This work provides an alternative viable approach for the development of time keeping devices in high-speed short-reach optical communication systems.
