The flashover strength of epoxy(EP)insulations in the High voltage direct current applications of future energy grids can be improved by tailoring their surface *** work aims to improve the DC surface flashover characteristics of EP after being treated with sandpaper of different *** with virgin EP and homogenously modified EP considering varying surface roughness(R_(a)=0.54,3.16,5.24,and 8.35μm)are *** experimental characterisations,such as water contact angle,surface intrinsic conductivity,surface voltages,flashover strength,and trap distributions are conducted and evaluated to analyse the difference between virgin and treated ***,based on the obtained experimental results of homogenously treated EP and theoretical analysis,the concept of surface functionally graded materials(SFGms)is put *** flashover voltages of homogenously treated EP are augmented significantly compared to virgin EP regardless of the voltage polarity and enhanced by enhancing the surface *** sample T_(model‐C) with SFGm design shows a 45.02%and 43.75%improvement in the negative and positive flashover voltages than that of the virgin *** the end,COmSOL simulations are conducted to justify the experimental findings and to analyse the difference between virgin and modified samples in terms of electric field distribution.

Background: Vaccines remain the only viable and safe option to control transmission and minimise disease sequelae during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst multiple vaccines are available, evidence has emerged regarding the association between the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, platelets and thrombosis, manifesting in thrombotic thrombocytopaenia. Case Summary: We report a case of recurrent coronary artery thrombosis on triple antithrombotic therapy, namely aspirin, clopidogrel, and continuous intravenous heparin, nine days after the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, in a 63-year-old female with no significant history of cardiovascular disease. Conclusion: This case may suggest that the association between platelets, SARS-CoV-2, the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, and coronary thrombosis may remain incompletely understood and warrants further study. Clinicians should remain on high alert if presented with similar circumstances.

Abiotic stresses are among the major limiting factors for plant growth and crop *** these,salinity is one of the major risk factors for plant growth and development in arid to semi-arid *** of salt tolerant crop genotypes is one of the imperative approaches to meet the food demand for increasing *** current experiment was carried out to access the performance of different rice genotypes under salinity stress and Zinc(Zn)*** rice genotypes were grown in a pot experiment and were exposed to salinity stress(7 dS m^(−1)),and Zn(15 mg kg^(-1)soil)was applied from two sources,ZnSO4 and Zn-EDTA.A control of both salinity and Zn was kept for *** showed that based on the biomass accumulation and K^(+)/Na^(+)ratio,KSK-133 and BAS-198 emerged as salt tolerant and salt sensitive,***,based on the Zn concentration,BAS-2000 was reported as Zn-in-efficient while IR-6 was a Zn-efficient *** results also revealed that plant growth,relative water content(RWC),physiological attributes including chlorophyll contents,ionic concentrations in straw and grains of all rice genotypes were decreased under salinity ***,salt tolerant and Zn-in-efficient rice genotypes showed significantly higher shoot K^(+)and Zn concentrations under saline *** application significantly alleviates the harmful effects of salinity by improving morpho-physiological attributes and enhancing antioxidant enzyme activities,and the uptake of K and *** beneficial effect of Zn was more pronounced in salt-tolerant and Zn in-efficient rice genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn-efficient *** sum,our results confirmed that Zn application increased overall plant’s performance under saline conditions,particularly in Zn in-efficient and tolerant genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn efficient rice genotypes.

In this paper, we are dealing with the study of the metric dimension of some classes of regular graphs by considering a class of bridgeless cubic graphs called the flower snarks Jn, a class of cubic convex polytopes considering the open problem raised in [m. Imran et al., families of plane graphs with constant metric dimension, Utilitas math., in press] and finally Harary graphs H5,n by partially answering to an open problem proposed in Ⅱ. Javaid et al., Families of regular graphs with constant metric dimension, Utilitas math., 2012, 88： 43-57]. We prove that these classes of regular graphs have constant metric dimension.

Saindha salt is considered to be more advantageous than the other edible salts for the patients suffering from diabetes,blood pressure and kidney *** explore the constituent elements of this salt,laser induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) has been exploited for its qualitative and quantitative *** third harmonic(355 nm) of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser has been used to produce the saindha salt plasma and the time integrated optical emission spectra were registered using a set of six miniature spectrometers covering the spectral range of 230-805 *** spectroscopic analysis of the emission spectra predominately revealed numerous neutral or singly ionized emission lines of Ca,mg,Na,K,Fe,Sr,Si,Li and *** laser produced plasma was characterized by calculating the electron temperature from the Boltzmann plots and the electron number density from the Stark broadened line profile as a function of laser irradiance and distance from the target *** relative concentration of the constituent elements was extracted by the integrated line intensities of the strongest spectral line of each element using the self-calibration-LIBS(SC-LIBS) and one-line calibration free-LIBS(OLCF-LIBS) *** cross-validation,the LIBS results have been compared with that obtained from the inductively coupled plasma-mass spectroscopy(ICP-mS) showing good agreement.

Pre-sowing magnetic field seed treatment effects on biological characteristics of vegetables and crops have been studied ***,studies reporting irrigation with magnetically treated water are ***,the effect of irrigation with magnetically treated water on turnip seed germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities was *** tap water was treated at 211 mT for 30,45 and 60 min and used for irrigation of turnip seed and *** and healthy turnip seed was sown under randomized complete block design(RCBD).The germination,emergence rate index,vigor index I and vigor index II increased up to 28.33%,11.54%,57.59%and 32.26%,*** growth parameters such as seedling lengths,fresh&dry weights,chlorophyll content were also enhanced in response of irrigation with magnetically treated *** seedlings irrigated with magnetically treated water showed 28.92%,11.36%and 14.76%higher protein content,alpha amylase and protease activities,respectively vs *** revealed that irrigation with magnetically treated water has potential to improve turnip germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities and this study is also extendable to other vegetables and crops for the improvement of germination and growth.

The present study is concerned with the isolation and screening of different strains of Aspergillus oryzae for the production of alpha amylase. Ninety strains were isolated from soil and tested for the production of alpha amylase in shake flasks. Of all the strains tested, Aspergillus oryzae GCB-32 and Aspergillus oryzae GCB-35 gave maximum production of alpha amylase. Different culture media were screened for the production of alpha amylase by these two strains. m1 medium containing starch, yeast extract, NH4Cl, mgSO4·7H2O and CaCl2 gave the maximum production of alpha amylase by both the strains Aspergillus oryzae GCB-32 and Aspergillus oryzae *** analysis revealed that the values of product yield coefficient（Y p/x ） and specific product yield coefficient（qp） were found highly significant（p≤0.05） when medium m1 was used for the enzyme production.
