Background High environmental temperatures induce heat stress in broiler chickens,affecting their health and pro-duction *** dietary,managerial,and genetics strategies have been tested with some success in mitigating heat stress(Hs)in *** novel Hs mitigation strategies for sustaining broiler production is critically *** study investigated the effects of pre-hatch thermal manipulation(Tm)and post-hatch baica-lein supplementation on growth performance and health parameters in heat-stressed *** six hundred fertile Cobb 500 eggs were incubated for 21 *** candling on embryonic day(ed)10,238 eggs were thermally manipulated at 38.5℃ with 55%relative humidity(RH)from ed 12 to 18,then transferred to the hatcher(ed 19 to 21,standard temperature)and 236 eggs were incubated at a controlled temperature(37.5℃)till *** hatch,180-day-old chicks from both groups were raised in 36 pens(n=10 birds/pen,6 replicates per treatment).The treatments were:1)Control,2)Tm,3)control heat stress(CHs),4)thermal manipulation heat stress(TmHs),5)control heat stress supplement(CHss),and 6)thermal manipulation heat stress supplement(TmHss).all birds were raised under the standard environment for 21 d,followed by chronic heat stress from d 22 to 35(32–33℃ for 8 h)in the CHs,TmHs,CHss,and TmHss groups.A thermoneutral(22–24℃)environment was maintained in the Control and Tm *** was constant(50%±5%)throughout the *** the data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA in R and GraphPad software at Psented as mean±*** stress significantly decreased(Pal body weight and ADG in CHs and TmHs groups compared to the other *** Tm significantly increased(Pssion of heat shock protein-related genes(HsP70,HsP90,and HsPH1)and antioxidant-related genes(GPX1 and TXN).TmHs birds showed a significant increment(Pal cecal volatile fatty acid(VFA)concentration compared to the CHs bird

Corrosion and scaling Threat in Upstream Oil Operation

Corrosiveness or scaling is an inherent threat to oil operations. The primary cause for this threat is the presence of water having complex geochemical matrix. Unanticipated water production, particularly if it contains unwanted impurities, can significantly impact hydrocarbon production. The current paper discusses the degree of threat posed to oil operation facilities based on the water characteristics. methodology involved the collection and analysis of water samples from major sources in oil industry such as groundwater, wellheads and seawater. The parameters tested include geochemical, microbiological and pollutants. The lab data was used to develop scaling and corrosion prediction indices such as Langelier saturation Index (LsI), Ryznar stability Index (RsI) and Puckorius scaling Index (PsI). The study indicated varying water chemistry for different sources. mixing of those waters may lead to ionic saturation and scaling in different facilities. Presence of the sRB and GAB in some water sources also posed threat to water system by forming fouling and corrosion. seawater used for offshore oilfields water injection to maintain reservoir pressure and improve oil recovery showed scaling tendency, whereas under different reservoir pressure, it can cause corrosion. some of the samples also had corrosion residuals such as iron, which indicated active corrosion. Current study showed higher alkalinity with high sulfate for one groundwater sample with presence of active corrosion residuals such as dissolved iron and manganese. The study showed positive value for LsI which indicated supersaturation of the water samples with respect to calcium carbonate (CaCOsub>3sub>) and scale forming. similarly, for RsI and PsI, the value was below six which confirmed the scaling potential for all the samples. We report on the structural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties of *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPs）.It is found that the Eu ions are mainly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***3powders are found to be antiferromagnetic with a second order magnetic transition at Neel temperature（TN=2.9 K）.Analysis of the magnetic susceptibility versus temperature data in terms of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/（T-θW）) for T>TN,yields θW=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment ■,which is close to the theoretical value ■.The magnetic entropy change(-Δsm),was determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic maxwell's *** μ0H=5 T and near TN,■ and relative cooling power（RCP） exhibit large values of 33.7 J/（kg·K） and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-Δsmand RCP show that the EuRhO3compound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

Dialysis plays a crucial role in the purification of nanomaterials but its impact on the structural properties of carbon nanomaterials was never ***,a carbon-based nanomaterial generated electrochemically in potassium phosphate buffer,was characterized before and after dialysis against pure *** is shown that dialysis affects the size of the carbon domains,structural organization,surface functionalization,oxidation degree of carbon,and grade of ***,dialysis drives the nanomaterial organization from discrete roundish carbon domains,with sizes ranging from 70 to 160 nm,towards linear stacking structures of small nanoparticles （m）.In parallel,alcohol and ether （epoxide） surface groups evolve into more oxidized carbon groups （e.g.,ketone and ester groups）.Investigation of the as-prepared nanomaterial by electron paramagnetic resonance （EPR） revealed a resonance signal consistent with carbon-oxygen centred ***,this study brings to light the selective affinity of the carbon nanomaterial under study to capture Na+ions,a property greatly enhanced by the dialysis process,and its high ability to trap oxygen,particularly before *** findings open new perspectives for the application of carbon-based nanomaterials and raise awareness of the importance of structural changes that can occur during the purification of carbon-based nanomaterials.

Credit Card Fraud Detection Using Improved Deep Learning models

Fraud of credit cards is a major issue for financial organizations and *** fraudulent actions become more complex,a demand for better fraud detection systems is *** learning approaches have shown promise in several fields,including detecting credit card ***,the efficacy of these models is heavily dependent on the careful selection of appropriate *** paper introduces models that integrate deep learning models with hyperparameter tuning techniques to learn the patterns and relationships within credit card transaction data,thereby improving fraud *** deep learning models:AutoEncoder(AE),Convolution Neural Network(CNN),and Long short-Term memory(LsTm)are proposed to investigate how hyperparameter adjustment impacts the efficacy of deep learning models used to identify credit card *** experiments conducted on a European credit card fraud dataset using different hyperparameters and three deep learning models demonstrate that the proposed models achieve a tradeoff between detection rate and precision,leading these models to be effective in accurately predicting credit card *** results demonstrate that LsTm significantly outperformed AE and CNN in terms of accuracy(99.2%),detection rate(93.3%),and area under the curve(96.3%).These proposed models have surpassed those of existing studies and are expected to make a significant contribution to the field of credit card fraud detection.
