Combinations of metal and lanthanide oxides have been done through casted films for potential medical applications. in this regard, samarium(Ⅲ) oxide/chromium(Ⅲ) oxide/graphene oxide(GO)/polycaprolactone(PCL) based films nano-composites(NCs) were fabricated, pointing their utilization as a biological scaffold for wound dressing purposes. Also, samarium(Ⅲ) oxide and chromium(Ⅲ) oxide have been merged as promising optical constituents due to their unique optical behavior. The structural and compositional examination of the studied NCs was executed by X-ray diffraction(XRd), Raman, and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FEsEm). The sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL NC exhibits a surface with a lower roughness degree owing to the presence of GO. Cr_(2)O_(3)shows size reduction upon GO insertion to reach 1.2 μm as the average grain size, whilst sm_(2)O_(3)records an average grain size of less than 1 μm. As well, the polymeric nano-compositions exhibit variation in contact angle values that hit 29.76°± 3.52°for sm_(2)O_(3)/PCL, and 48.62°± 1.37°for sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL as the second lowest contact angle. The optical behavior contributes to absorption edge relocation along the x-axis from 1.7 eV for pure PCL, to 2.65 eV for sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL. Regarding biological responses, the cell exposed to 2.5 μg/m L of sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL shows cell viability of 119.31%, while 5 μg/m L hits 99.6%. Additionally, the resulting cell attachment micrographs show layers of fibroblast tissue, besides the proliferation and growth of cultivated cells. Thus, the sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL scaffold provides 3d proliferation of fibroblast cells endorsing the wound healing process.

The prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading/displacement(dh)is a challenging task for civil/geotechnical *** this study,a new approach is proposed to predict dh using gene expression programming(GEP).Based on statistical reasoning,individual models were developed for two topographies:free-face and gently sloping *** with a comparison with conventional approaches for predicting the dh,four additional regression-based soft computing models,*** process regression(GPR),relevance vector machine(RVm),sequential minimal optimization regression(smOR),and m5-tree,were developed and compared with the GEP *** results indicate that the GEP models predict dh with less bias,as evidenced by the root mean square error(RmsE)and mean absolute error(mAE)for training(i.e.1.092 and 0.815;and 0.643 and 0.526)and for testing(i.e.0.89 and 0.705;and 0.773 and 0.573)in free-face and gently sloping ground topographies,*** overall performance for the free-face topology was ranked as follows:GEP>RVm>m5-tree>GPR>smOR,with a total score of 40,32,24,15,and 10,*** the gently sloping condition,the performance was ranked as follows:GEP>RVm>GPR>m5-tree>smOR with a total score of 40,32,21,19,and 8,***,the results of the sensitivity analysis showed that for both free-face and gently sloping ground,the liquefiable layer thickness(T_(15))was the major parameter with percentage deterioration(%d)value of 99.15 and 90.72,respectively.

The Van Hoof effect is a phase shift existing between the radial velocity curves of hydrogen and metallic lines within the atmosphere of pulsating *** this article,we present a study of this phenomenon through the spectra of the brightest pulsating star RR Lyr of RR Lyrae stars recorded for 22 *** based ourselves,on the one hand,on 1268 spectra(41 nights of observation)recorded between the years 1994 and 1997 at the Observatory of Haute Provence(OHP,France)previously observed by Chadid and Gillet,and on the other hand on 1569 spectra(46nights of observation)recorded at our Oukaimeden Observatory(morocco)between 2015 and *** this study,we have detected information on atmospheric dynamics that had not previously been ***,the Van Hoof effect which results in a clear correlation between the radial velocities of hydrogen and those of the metallic lines has been observed and analyzed at different Blazhko phases.A correlation between the radial velocities of different metallic lines located in the lower atmosphere has been observed as *** the first time,we were able to show that the amplitude of the radial velocity curves deduced from the lines of hydrogen and that of FeⅡ(λ4923.921?)increases toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle and decreases toward the maximum of the same Blazhko ***,we found that the Van Hoof effect is also modulated by the Blazhko ***,toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle the Van Hoof effect is more visible and at the maximum of the Blazhko cycle,this effect is *** also observed the temporal evolution of the amplitudes of the radial velocities of the lower and upper *** observed over a long time,we can interpret it as a function of the Blazhko phases.

synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) via green method is an outstanding alternative to conventional/regular methods; however， the safety or toxicity of the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs in vivo is not fully explored. This study was conducted to evaluate the protective efficiency of cinnamaldehyde-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (cin@CsNPs) against oxidative damage and genotoxicity of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in mice. ZnO-NPs were biosynthesized using the extract of fresh leaves of mentha pulegium L. cin was extracted from cinnamon essential oil， and was loaded into chitosan nanoparticle (cin@CsNPs). Both ZnO-NPs， cin@CsNPs and CsNPs were characterized. The in vitro release of cin@CsNPs was determined. in the biological study， 6 groups of male Balb/c mice were treated by gavage for 3 weeks as follows， control group， the group received ZnO-NPs (25 mg/kg b.w)， the groups received cin@CsNPs at low dose (50 mg/kg b.w) or high dose (100 mg/kg b.w)， and the groups received ZnO-NPs plus cin@CsNPs at the two tested doses. Blood and tissue samples were collected for different biochemical， genetical and histological studies. The particle size of ZnO-NPs， CsNPs， and cin@CsNPs were (20.78 ± 2.6)， (170.0 ± 3.7)， and (218.23 ± 2.9) nm， and ξ-potential were (32.7 ± 4.6)， (8.32 ± 0.27) and (4.8 ± 0.21)， respectively. ZnO-NPs disturbed the biochemical and oxidative stress indices， AFP， CEA， TNF-α， chromosomal aberrations in somatic and germ cells， and sperm abnormality along with severe pathological changes in the hepatic， renal， and testicular tissues. cin@CsNPs improved significantly all the parameters tested and the histological picture in a dose-dependent. Therefore， the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs exhibit oxidative damage and genotoxicity， and cin@CsNPs have potential protective effects against the risks of ZnO-NPs and may be a promising tool to overcome the challenges of using cin in food and pharmaceuticals applications.

High-temperature carbonized metal-organic frameworks(mOFs)derivatives have demonstrated their superiority for promising electromagnetic wave(EmW)absorbers,but they still suffer from limited EmW absorption capacity and narrow *** the advantage of microstructure and chemical composition regulation for the design of EmW absorber,hierarchical heterostructured mos_(2)/Cos_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)@cabonized cotton fabric(CF)(mCC@CCF)is prepared by growing ZiF-67 mOFs onto CF surface,chemical etching,and *** from the dual loss mechanism of magnetic-dielectric multicomponent carbonized mOFs,chemical etching and carbonization process can effectively introduce abundant micro-gap structure that can result in better impedance matching and stronger absorption capacity via internal reflection,doped heteroatoms(mo,N,s)to supply additional dipolar polarization loss,and numerous heterointerfaces among mos_(2),Cos_(2),Co_(3)O_(4),and CCF that produce promoted conduction loss and interfacial polarization ***,a minimal reflection loss of−52.87 dB and a broadest effective absorption bandwidth of 6.88 GHz were achieved via tunning the sample thickness and filler loading,showing excellent EmW absorption *** research is of great value for guiding the research on mOFs derivatives based EmW absorbing materials.

This study aims to reveal the occurrence and origin of typical groundwater with high arsenic and fluoride concentrations in the loess area of the Guanzhong Basin—a Neogene faulted *** findings are as follows:(1)Groundwater samples with high arsenic and fluoride concentrations collected from the loess area and the terraces of the Weihe River accounted for 26%and 30%,respectively,of the total samples,with primary hydrochemical type identified as HCO_(3)-*** karst and sand areas exhibit relatively high groundwater quality,serving as preferred sources for water *** is recommended that local governments fully harness groundwater in these areas;(2)groundwater with high arsenic and fluoride concentrations in the loess area and the alluvial plain of rivers in dali County is primarily distributed within the Guanzhong Basin,which represents the drainage zone of groundwater;(3)arsenic and fluoride in groundwater originate principally from natural and anthropogenic sources;(4)the human health risk assessments reveal that long-term intake of groundwater with high arsenic and fluoride concentrations pose cancer or non-cancer risks,which are more serious to kids compared to *** study provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of groundwater with high arsenic and fluoride concentrations in loess areas.

The effect of carbon black （CB） and graphite （G） powders on the macroscopic and nano-scale free volume properties of silicone rubber based on poly（di-methylsiloxane）（Pdms） was studied through thermal and cyclic mechanical measurements, as well as with positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy （PALs）. The melting temperature of the composites （Tm） and the endothermic enthalpy of melting （ΔHm） were estimated by differential scanning calorimetry （dsC）. Tm and the degree of crystallinity （χc） of Pdms composites were found to decrease with increasing the CB content. This can be explained due to the increase in physical cross-linking which results in a decrease in the crystallite thickness. Besides, χc was found to be dependent on the filler type. Cyclic stress-strain behavior of Pdms loaded with different contents of filler has been studied. mullins ratio （Rm） was found to be dependent on the filler type and content. it was found that, Rm increases with increasing the filler content due to the increase in physical cross-linking which results in a decrease in the size of free volume, as observed through a decrease of the o-Ps lifetime τ3 measured by PALs. moreover, the hysteresis in Pdms-CB composites was more pronounced than in Pdms-G composites. Furthermore, a correlation was established between the free volume Vf and the mechanical properties of Pdms composites containing different fillers. A negative correlation was observed between Vf and Rm.
