A New Hybrid model for Segmentation of the Skin Lesion Based on Residual Attention U-Net

Skin segmentation participates significantly in various biomedical applications,such as skin cancer identification and skin lesion *** paper presents a novel framework for segmenting the *** framework contains two main stages:The first stage is for removing different types of noises from the dermoscopic images,such as hair,speckle,and impulse noise,and the second stage is for segmentation of the dermoscopic images using an attention residual U-shaped Network(U-Net).The framework uses variational Autoencoders(VAEs)for removing the hair noises,the Generative Adversarial Denoising Network(DGAN-Net),the Denoising U-shaped U-Net(D-U-NET),and Batch Renormalization U-Net(Br-U-NET)for remov-ing the speckle noise,and the Laplacian Vector median Filter(mLVmF)for removing the impulse *** the second main stage,the residual attention u-net was used for *** framework achieves(35.11,31.26,27.01,and 26.16),(36.34,33.23,31.32,and 28.65),and(36.33,32.21,28.54,and 27.11)for removing hair,speckle,and impulse noise,respectively,based on Peak Signal Noise Ratio(PSNR)at the level of(0.1,0.25,0.5,and 0.75)of *** framework also achieves an accuracy of nearly 94.26 in the dice score in the process of segmentation before removing noise and 95.22 after removing different types of *** experiments have shown the efficiency of the used model in removing noise according to the structural similarity index measure(SSIm)and PSNR and in the segmentation process as well.

为了提高永磁同步电机伺服系统中的位置控制性能,提出一种基于状态观测器和状态反馈的位置控制器。状态观测器可以利用较低精度的位置传感器来准确观测负载转矩、转子位置和转速。基于状态空间算法的位置控制器通过合适的零极点配置,可以提高位置控制性能。利用观测的负载转矩可以把负载的变化作为系统扰动进行补偿。仿真和实验结果表明:该控制器与传统的比例积分微分控制器相比,位置控制快速准确并且没有超调,在负载变化时系统仍然能够保持很好的稳定性和控制精度。

长期以来,班怒(班公湖-怒江的简称)残留海何时消亡及消亡的方式等关键科学问题仍存在较大争议.本文对革吉地区发育的一套晚白垩世沉积进行了系统的地层学、沉积学和岩相学研究,发现其明显不同于北拉萨地体上广泛分布的竟柱山组陆相沉积,而以发育海相灰岩和混积岩为特征,野外露头呈现被竟柱山组不整合覆盖的接触关系.本文将这套地层命名唐杂组,代表着拉萨地体和班怒带迄今发现的最高海相层.沉积环境分析表明,唐杂组记录了早期由扇三角洲平原相到前扇三角洲相的水深加深过程,随后海水逐渐消退并变为扇三角洲相砂砾岩沉积.有孔虫化石约束这套地层的时代为Cenomanian期(101~94 ma);砂岩碎屑组分、碎屑锆石U-Pb年代学和Hf同位素等数据指示唐杂组沉积物源发生了一次明显的变化:早期由北拉萨地体和班怒带向南供给,后期转变为来自沉积区南侧的中拉萨地体和下白垩统郎山组灰岩.结合区域古地理分析,本文认为革吉地区唐杂组约束了班怒海在西段消失的时间为~94 ma,同时确认班怒海并非由东向西退出,而是大致同时退出中北拉萨地体.

Pm_(2.5)characterization of primary and secondary organic aerosols in two urban-industrial areas in the East mediterranean

Primary and secondary organic aerosols in Pm_(2.5)were investigated over a one-year campaign at Zouk mikael and Fiaa,*** n-alkanes concentrations were quite similar at both sites(26-29 ng/m^(3))and mainly explained by anthropogenic emissions rather than natural *** concentrations of total Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs)were nearly three times higher at Zouk mikael(2.56 ng/m^(3))compared to Fiaa(0.95 ng/m^(3)),especially for indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene linked to the presence of the power plant.A characteristic indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene/(indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene+benzo[g,h,i]perylene)ratio in the range0.8-1.0 was determined for heavy fuel oil combustion from the power *** acids and hopanes were also investigated and were assigned to cooking activities and vehicular emissions *** were identified for the first time in Lebanon with high concentrations at Zouk and Fiaa(106.88 and 97.68 ng/m^(3) respectively).moreover,the biogenic secondary aerosols revealed higher concentrations in *** total terpene concentration varied between 131 ng/m^(3) at Zouk mikael in winter to 469 ng/m3 at Fiaa in ***,the concentrations of the dicarboxylic acids especially for adipic and phthalic acids were more influenced by anthropogenic *** analysis of molecular markers and diagnostic ratios indicated that the sites were strongly affected by anthropogenic sources such as waste open burning,diesel private generators,cooking activities,road transport,power plant,and industrial ***,results showed different pattern during winter and summer ***,higher concentrations of biogenic markers were clearly encountered during the summer period.

Potential reduction in water consumption of greenhouse evaporative coolers in arid areas via earth-tube heat exchangers

This study aimed to explore the potential of developing a novel cooling system combining a greenhouse and an earth-tube heat exchanger(ETHE).In this system,greenhouse air is circulated through the underneath soil mass to use the deep-soil cooling *** was achieved through the following ***,soil temperature profile inside and outside the cultivated greenhouse was monitored for almost one year to study the possibility of using deep-soil coldness for cooling the greenhouse ***,a prototype ETHE was built to practically investigate the potential reduction in air temperature as the air flows inside the deep earth ***,a prototype greenhouse was erected to study the ETHE *** from the first experiment revealed that soil temperature at a soil depth of 2.5 m inside the greenhouse offers good conditions to bury the *** soil temperature at this soil depth was below the maximum temperature(32℃)that most greenhouse crops can *** from the prototype ETHE showed a slight reduction in air temperature as it passed through the *** the prototype of the integrated greenhouse and ETHE system,reduction in air temperature was observed as the air passed through the ETHE *** night,the air was heated up across the ETHE pipes,indicating that the ETHE was working as a *** concluded from this study that greenhouses in arid climates can be cooled using the ETHE concept which would save a large amount of water that would otherwise be consumed in the evaporative *** investigations are highly encouraged.

Antimicrobial Agents from Selected medicinal Plants in Libya

Objective： To test the in vitro antimicrobial efficacy of water and methanol extracts of 23 plant species that are commonly used in Libyan folk medicine. methods： The antimicrobial activity was determined using the well-diffusion method. Four test microorganisms were used namely, Escherichia coil, Salmonella species, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. The minimum inhibitory concentration （mIC） was determined for the high biologically active crude plant extracts. Results： Among 23 medicinal plants used in the study, only 5 methanolic extracts [Rosmarinus offcinalis L., Carduus marianium L., Lantana camara L., Rhus tripartite （ueria） Grande, and Thymus capitatus （L.） Hoffm （link）] showed the highest antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Salmonella species, while 22 methanolic and aqueous extracts showed moderate to weak antimicrobial activity on all tested organisms. However 19 of the extracts showed no activity at all against Gram -ve and Gram ＋ve microorganisms. mIC was found to be 1.25 mg/mL （Thymus capitatus）, 3 mg/mL （Rhus tripartite）, 4 mg/mL （Carduus marianium）, 5 mg/mL （Rosamarinus officinalis） and 5 mg/mL （Lantana camara）, respectively. Condusions： The present results revealed that, crude methanolic extracts of the investigated Libyan folk medicinal plants exhibited mild to high in vitro antibactedal activities against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms.

The chemical composition of Pm_(2.5) at two sites in Lebanon,a country in the East mediterranean-middle East region,is investigated in the spring and summer *** average Pm_(2.5) concentrations were of(29±16)μg/m 3 for Beirut urban site and(32±14)μg/m 3 for Beirut suburban *** study showed that the geographic location of the East mediterranean region,such as its proximity to the mediterranean Sea and the dust storm intrusion are a significant contributor to the high Pm levels from natural sources,which cannot be mitigated,rendering the Pm_(2.5) WHO annual Air Quality guideline unattainable due to high natural background,which also applies to the entire middle East *** and Eastern Europe are the dominant origin of air masses throughout our sampling days,suggesting the long-range transport as an important potential contributor to the high observed concentrations of V,Ni,and sulfate in this region most probably in other East mediterranean countries than Lebanon *** local sources determined through the chemical speciation including organics are road transport,resuspension of dust and diesel private generators.A health risk assessment of airborne metals was performed and the carcinogenic risk for all the metals exceeded by 42(adults)and 14(children)times the acceptable risk level(10^(-6))at both *** was the predominant carcinogenic metal,emphasizing the need to replace energy production with cleaner energy on a regional level and highlighting the severe impact of air pollution on the health of inhabitants in this region’s main cities.

Objective:To determine the lead bioactive compound in kernel extract of mangifera pajang and its anti-cancer activity against human breast cancer cell lines with positive estrogen receptor(mCF-7).methods:The methanolic extract of dried powder kernel of mangifera pajang was exposed to column chromatography for *** structural elucidation of the isolated compound was characterized using infrared,nuclear magnetic resonance,mass ***,cytotoxicity,morphological changes,flow cytometry and cell cycle arrest analyses were performed to examine the mechanism of anti-proliferation and apoptosis induced by methyl gallate against ***:One compound was isolated from the methanolic extract of mangifera pajang kernel and identified as methyl *** flow cytometric results demonstrated induction of apoptosis in mCF-7 cells by three concentrations of methyl *** cell cycle arrest showed a significant(Pm phase of mCF-7 after treatment with 100μm of methyl *** cell percentage of early and late apoptosis was significant at 10 and 100μm of methyl ***,methyl gallate treatment induced up-regulation of reactive oxygen species levels in mCF-7 cells with a reduction in superoxide dismutase ***:These findings indicate that isolated methyl gallate from mangifera pajang kernel extracts induces growth inhibition and apoptosis in mCF-7 cells via up-regulating oxidative stress pathway.

CD62L Percentage in Peripheral T Cells of Kidney Transplant Recipients Children

Backgrounds: Recent advances in post Kidney Transplantation (KT) care, have led to a dramatic improvement in short-term outcomes in order to achieve transplantation tolerance;including the ideal tool for clinical monitoring & new therapeutic line. This study was undertaken to analyze the CD62L in Kidney Transplant Recipients (KTRs) and to investigate its efficacy as a marker of good graft survival. methods: Fifty pediatric KTRs and 12 healthy controls were included in the study, the frequency of T cell activation markers;CD62L was measured with flow cytometry after renal transplantation. Clinical, laboratory, immunosuppressive therapy data and graft function of transplant recipients were collected and correlated with their CD62L peripheral blood percentage. Results: The circulating CD62L% was significantly more in transplant recipients than controls (44.74% ± 17.45% vs. 33.36% ± 11.54%, p = 0.02). CD 62L% was more frequent in recipients of living related donors (p = 0.05), positively correlated with donor age (p = 0.04, r = -0.29*) and CD 4% (p = 0.000, r = 0.615). CD26L% did not show significant association with acute rejection or chronic rejection (p = 0.432, p = 0.91 respectively) or with graft function (serum creatinine or eGFR, p = 0.086, p = 0.988 respectively) or immunosuppressive medications. Conclusion: Peripheral CD62L% is increased after KT than healthy controls, however, it cannot reflect either clinical (serum creatinine and eGFR) or pathological renal graft injury. CD62L surface marker needs more analysis for its potential diagnostic and therapeutic implications as a Treg cell activation marker.
