A novel rheumatoid arthritis(RA)synovial fluid protein,Syntenin-1,and its receptor,Syndecan-1(SDC-1),are colocalized on RA synovial tissue endothelial cells and fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS).Syntenin-1 exacerbates the inflammatory landscape of endothelial cells and RA FLS by upregulating transcription of IRF1/5/7/9,IL-1β,IL-6,and CCL2 through SDC-1 ligation and HIF1α,or mTOR ***,Syntenin-1 orchestrates RA FLS and endothelial cell invasion via SDC-1 and/or mTOR *** Syntenin-1 reprogrammed endothelial cells,the dynamic expression of metabolic intermediates coincides with escalated glycolysis along with unchanged oxidative factors,AmPK,PGC-1α,citrate,and inactive oxidative ***,RA FLS rewired by Syntenin-1 displayed a modest glycolytic-ATP accompanied by a robust mitochondrial-ATP *** enriched mitochondrial-ATP detected in Syntenin-1 reprogrammed RA FLS was coupled with mitochondrial fusion and fission recapitulated by escalated mitofusin-2 and DRP1 *** found that VEGFR1/2 and Notch1 networks are responsible for the crosstalk between Syntenin-1 rewired endothelial cells and RA FLS,which are also represented in RA *** to RA explants,morphological and transcriptome studies authenticated the importance of VEGFR1/2,Notch1,RAPTOR,and HIF1αpathways in Syntenin-1 arthritic mice and their obstruction in SDC-1 deficient ***,dysregulation of SDC-1,mTOR,and HIF1αnegated Syntenin-1 inflammatory phenotype in RA explants,while inhibition of HIF1αimpaired synovial angiogenic imprint amplified by *** conclusion,since the current therapies are ineffective on Syntenin-1 and SDC-1 expression in RA synovial tissue and blood,targeting this pathway and its interconnected metabolic intermediates may provide a novel therapeutic strategy.

Thermal energy storage(TES) systems use solar energy despite its irregular availability and day-night temperature *** work reports the thermal characterizations of solar salt-based phase change composites in the presence of graphene nanoplatelets(GNP).Solar salt(60:40 of NaNO_(3):KNO_(3)) possessing phase transition temperature and melting enthalpy of 221.01℃ and 134.58 kJ/kg is proposed as a phase change material(PCm) for high-temperature solar-based energy storage *** conductivity must be improved to make them suitable for widespread applications and to close the gap between the system needs where they are *** is added at weight concentrations of 0.1%,0.3%,and 0.5% with solar salt using the ball milling method to boost its thermal *** studies indicated the formation of a uniform surface of GNP on solar *** spectrum peaks identified the physical interaction between salt and *** characterization of the composites,such as thermal conductivity,DSC and TGA was carried out for the samples earlier and later 300 thermal cycles.0.5% of GNP has improved the thermal conductivity of salt by 129.67% and after thermal cycling,the enhancement reduced to 125.21% indicating that thermal cycling has a minor impact on thermal *** change temperature decreased by around 2.32% in the presence of0.5% GNP and the latent heat reduced by 4.34% after thermal *** thermograms depicted the composites initiated the weight loss at around 550℃ after which it was *** thermal cycling,the weight loss initiated at ~40℃ lower compared to pure salt,which was found to be a minor *** characterization of solar salt and GNP-based solar salt composites revealed that the composites can be used for enhanced heat transfer in high-temperature solar-based heat transfer and energy storage applications.

Core-shell design of UiO66-Fe_(3)O_(4) configured with EDTA-assisted washing for rapid adsorption and simple recovery of heavy metal pollutants from soil

Electron Temperature measurement Using PIN Diodes as Detectors to Record the X-ray Pulses from a Low-Energy mather-Type Plasma Focus

In the experiment to determine the plasma electron temperature, a modifiedmultichannel PIN diodes assembly is used as detectors to record the X-ray pulses from a low-energymather-type plasma focus device energized by a 32μF, 15 kV (3.6kJ) single capacitor, with deuteriumas a filling gas. The ratio of the integrated bremsstrahlung emission transmitting through foils tothe total incident flux as a function of foil thickness at various temperatures is obtained forfoil absorbers of material. Using 3 μm, 6 μm, 9 μm,12 μm,15 μm and 18 μm thick aluminiumabsorbers, the transmitted X-ray flux is detected. By comparing the experimental and theoreticalcurves through a computer program, the plasma electron temperature is determined. Results show thatthe deuterium focus plasma electron temperature is about 800 eV.

A Seismic Hazard map Based on Geology and Shear-wave Velocity in Rawalpindi–Islamabad,Pakistan

The‘twin cities’district of Rawalpindi–Islamabad is among the most endangered seismic regions in Pakistan,with the seismic hazard assessed(0.32 g)to intensity IX mmI for a 475-year return period.A seismic hazard map for Rawalpindi–Islamabad is presented herein,based on 85 shear-wave velocity(VS)profiles obtained through geophysical H/V measurements and from the geological map of the *** between the average top thirty-meter shear-wave velocities(VS30)and surficial geological units have been *** peak ground acceleration(PGA)maps for 150,475 and 2475-year return periods were converted into a seismic intensity *** increments for different soils were used to compute PGA values for 150,475 and 2475-year return *** located on softer ground experienced a higher degree of damage from moderate *** to the presence of soft clay or liquefiable soil and lateral spreading,a few locations may be classified as hybrid sites class C and *** map is a critical step in facilitating code-based site classification and seismic design throughout Rawalpindi–*** the seismic hazard map based on seismic intensities is no longer used in engineering geology,it is still important in seismological analysis and for civil protection purposes.

microbial community dynamics and flavor formation mechanisms during fermentation of fermented chilies from different regions based on macro-genome sequencing， SPmE-GC-mS， electronic nose， and electronic tongue

Fermented chili products are popular traditional fermented foods around the world. However， differences in microbial communities in fermented chilies from different regions and how they affect the flavor compounds in chili fermentation have not been reported. In this study， the dynamics of flavor compounds and microbial communities in fermented chilies from Sichuan， Guizhou， and Hunan were systematically investigated by macro-genome sequencing， solid phase microextraction-gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry (SPmE-GC-mS)， electronic nose， and electronic tongue techniques. Simultaneously， the microbial metabolic mechanisms and the relationship between flavor compounds and microbiome were unraveled through staged and simulated fermentation analysis. The results showed that 53 chemical odorants， including alcohols， esters， aldehydes， and acids， were identified as chemical markers to differentiate the regional samples. Twelve microbial species， including Staphylococcus xylosus， Unclassified staphylococcus species， Weissella confusus， Lactococcus cremoris， Lactococcus garvieae， Lactiplantibacillus sakei， Pediciococcus propionicigenes， Pediciococcus idahonensis， Pediciococcus aciditolerans， Nocardioides antri， Debaryomyces hansenii， and Colletotrichum scovillei， were identified as microbial markers to differentiate the regional samples. Correlation analysis showed that Lactobacillaceae was associated with fruity， floral， spicy， and fatty aromas. The electronic nose and tongue analysis results showed that 9 flavor and 8 taste indicators significantly differed between regional samples (P mpounds and microbial diversity were robust under initial selection stress and showed higher diversity under metabolome-microbiome interactions. Importantly， simulated fermentation confirmed that metabolome-microbiome interactions drove the shift in microbial structure， metabolism， and flavor in regionally fermented chilies. Simulation of Non-Isothermal Turbulent Flows Through Circular Rings of Steel

This article is intended to examine the fluid flow patterns and heat transfer in a rectangular channel embedded with three semi-circular cylinders comprised of steel at the *** an organization is used to generate the heat exchangers with tube and shell because of the production of more turbulence due to zigzag path which is in favor of rapid heat *** of little maintenance,the heat exchanger of such type is extensively ***,we generate simulation of flow and heat transfer using nonisothermal flow interface in the Comsol multiphysics 5.4 which executes the Reynolds averaged Navier stokes equation(RANS)model of the turbulent flow together with heat *** is tested with Prandtl number(Pr=0.7)with inlet velocity magnitude in the range from 1 to 2 m/sec which generates the Reynolds number in the range of 2.2×10^(5) to 4.4×10^(5) with turbulence kinetic energy and the dissipation rate in ranges(3.75×10^(−3) to 1.5×10^(−2))and(3.73×10^(−3)−3×10^(−2))*** correlations available in the literature are used in order to check *** results are displayed through streamlines,surface plots,contour plots,isothermal lines,and *** is concluded that by retaining such an arrangement a quick distribution of the temperature over the domain can be seen and also the velocity magnitude is increasing from 333.15%to a maximum of 514%.The temperature at the middle shows the consistency in value but declines immediately at the *** process becomes faster with the decrease in inlet velocity magnitude.
