Background: COVID-19 limitations have hindered the implementation of new technologies by preventing proctors from coming to the *** share our first experience of magnetic resonance imaging(mRI)-guided focused ultrasound(mRgFUS)treatment with an international remote online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the methodology of remote mRgFUS ***: This single-center,nonrandomized controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential tremor(ET)and 67 with tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease(PD).The coming of proctors was impossible,so we arranged for the remote participation of proctors from the United Kingdom,Spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telemedicine-proctored treatment(proctor group)and 56 received their treatment independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating Scale for Tremor(CRST)for ET patients and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part III for PD ***: In patients with ET,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRST reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).None of the patients showed worsening of tremors within 1 *** patients with PD,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).The UPDRS Part III improvement was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).The 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).No complications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe methodology for telemedicine remote online-proctored mRgFUS *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed remote proctor protocols in terms of complication rate,effect,and long-term results;however,UPDRS Part III improvement was better in the PD solo *** study demonstrated that the mRgFUS international proctorship can be performed successfully remotely.

Nonmagnetic impurity scattering is known to shift up the Ginzburg-Landau parameter k of a *** this case,when the system is initially in type I,it can change its magnetic response,crossing the intertype domain with k~1 between the two standard superconductivity types and arriving at type *** the present work we demonstrate that the impact of disorder can be much more profound in the presence of the multiband structure of the charge carrier *** particular,when the band diffusivities differ from each other,the intertype domain tends to expand significantly,including points with k>>1 that belong to deep type-Ⅱ in conventional single-band *** finding sheds light on the nontrivial disorder effect and significantly complements earlier results on the enlargement of the intertype domain in clean multiband superconductors.

In the present investigation, Ni_（50）Ti_（25）Al_（25）（at.%） mechanically alloyed powder is deposited on carbon steel *** the coating process, the substrate is heated to temperature ranging from room temperature to 400℃. The microstructure, porosity, microhardness, adhesion strength, and corrosion behavior of the coating are investigated at different substrate temperatures. Results show that coating porosity is lower on high temperature surface. microhardness and adhesion strength of the deposition layer on the substrate without preheating have lower values than with preheating. The polarization test result shows that corrosion performance of the coating is dependent on micro cracks and porosities and the increasing of substrate temperature can improve the quality of coating and corrosion performance.

The behavior of non-Newtonian power-law nanofluids under free convection heat transfer conditions in a cooled square enclosure equipped with a heated fin is investigated *** particular,the impact of nanofluids,composed of water and Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and Cu nanoparticles,on heat transfer enhancement is *** aim of this research is also to analyze the influence of different parameters,including the Rayleigh number(Ra=10^(4)-10^(6)),nanoparticle volume fraction(φ=0%-20%),non-Newtonian power-law indexes(n=0.6-1.4),and fin dimensions(Ar=0.3,0.5,and 0.7).Streamlines and isotherms are used to depict flow and related heat transfer *** indicate that thermal performance improves with increasing Rayleigh number,regardless of the nanoparticle type or nanofluid rheological *** suggests that the buoyancy force has a significant impact on heat transfer,particularly near the heat *** Nusselt number is more sensitive to variations in Cu nanoparticle volume fractions compared to Al₂O₃and TiO₂.moreover,the average Nusselt numbers for power-law nanofluids with n1)are greater(smaller)than for Newtonian fluids due to the decrease(increase)in viscosity with increasing(decreasing)shear rate,at the same values of Rayleigh number Ra owing to the amplification(attenuation)of the convective ***,the most substantial enhancement is observed with Cu-water shear-thinning nanofluid,where the Nusselt number increases by 136%when changing from Newtonian to shear thinning behavior and by 154.9%when adding 16%nanoparticle volume ***,an even larger increase of 57%in the average Nusselt number is obtained on increasing the fin length from 0.3 to 0.7.

In this paper, we present a numerical method for solving two-dimensional VolterraFredholm integral equations of the second kind（2DV-FK2）. Our method is based on approximating unknown function with Bernstein polynomials. We obtain an error bound for this method and employ the method on some numerical tests to show the efficiency of the method.

Kerosene-alumina nanofluid flow and heat transfer in the presence of magnetic field are studied. The basic partial differential equations are reduced to ordinary differential equations which are solved semi analytically using differential transformation method. Velocity and temperature profiles as well as the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are determined analytically. The influence of pertinent parameters such as magnetic parameter, nanofluid volume fraction, viscosity parameter and Eckert number on the flow and heat transfer characteristics is discussed. Results indicate that skin friction coefficient decreases with increase of magnetic parameter, nanofluid volume fraction and viscosity parameter. Nusselt number increases with increase of magnetic parameter and nanofluid volume fraction while it decreases with increase of Eckert number and viscosity parameter.

The problems involving periodic contacting surfaces have different practical applications. An inverse heat conductionproblem for estimating the periodic Thermal Contact Conductance (TCC) between one-dimensional, constantproperty contacting solids has been investigated with conjugate gradient method (CGm) of function *** method converges very rapidly and is not so sensitive to the measurement errors. The advantage of thepresent method is that no a priori information is needed on the variation of the unknown quantities, since the solutionautomatically determines the functional form over the specified domain. A simple, straight forward techniqueis utilized to solve the direct, sensitivity and adjoint problems, in order to overcome the difficulties associatedwith numerical methods. Two general classes of results, the results obtained by applying inexact simulatedmeasured data and the results obtained by using data taken from an actual experiment are presented. In addition,extrapolation method is applied to obtain actual results. Generally, the present method effectively improves theexact TCC when exact and inexact simulated measurements input to the analysis. Furthermore, the results obtainedwith CGm and the extrapolation results are in agreement and the little deviations can be negligible.

Infrared absorption spectra of orange, black and transferred Sb//2S//3 samples have been studied in the spectral range 200-4000 cm** minus **1. The pronounced difference between the different samples is the appearance of excess sulphur present in the orange and transferred samples except those of transferred at 543 K and the black Sb//2S//3. The change of sharpness of some IR peaks reveals the amorphous/crystalline change. The effect of the degree of crystallinity and stoichiometry on the energy gap values was investigated by using optical method. The obtained dielectric parameters epsilon prime and epsilon double prime of the different samples are thoroughly affected by the degree of crystallinity and smoothly affected by either the frequency or the temperature or both, except at lower frequencies. Splenic hamartomas(shs)are uncommon,benign vascular lesions of unclear etiology and are mostly found incidentally on abdominal images,at surgery,or at *** the first case description,in 1861,less than 50 pediatric sh cases have been reported in the *** this article,we have performed an analysis of all sh cases in children published in the literature to date and presented our case of an 8-year-old male with *** lesions in children were shown to cause symptoms more often than in the adult *** observed sh sizes in children ranged from a few millimeters to 18 cm,and the symptomatic lesions were mostly larger or *** most common clinical finding was *** of hypersplenism were present in children with a single sh larger than 4.5 cm(diameter range:4.5-18.0 cm)and in those with multiple hamartomas,ranging from a few millimeters to 5 *** percent of patients with available laboratory findings had hematological abnormalities such as anemia,thrombocytopenia,or *** symptoms and signs included abdominal pain,recurrent infections,fever,night sweats,lethargy,growth retardation,and weight *** use of multiple imaging modalities may suggest the preoperative diagnosis of a splenic mass in children and determine the therapeutic ***,the final diagnosis of sh relies on histopathological ***,including total or partial splenectomy(PS),is the mainstay of sh *** m et *** in children WJCC https://*** 1910 April 16,2024 Volume 12 Issue 11 Although total splenectomy carries a greater risk of overwhelming post-splenectomy infection than PS it has remained the most performed surgical procedure in children with *** the majority of pediatric patients with symptomatic sh,resolution of symptoms and resolution or improvement of cytopenias occurred after surgical treatment.
