Pregnancy, which is responsible for the decline in immunity, and the immediate postpartum period can lead to reactivation or worsening of tuberculosis. We report a case of a patient who consulted for neurological disorders in the context of a deterioration in general condition. The CT scan revealed a brainstem lesion which was successfully treated like a tuberculosis. However, reactivation has been observed in the postpartum period of a pregnancy contracted during anti-tuberculosis treatment. Further clinical improvement has been achieved with anti-tuberculosis treatment. Pregnancy and the immediate postpartum had led to a transient decline in immunity in part by decreasing in the inflammatory activity of type 1 helper T cells so that the fetus, which is a foreign body, was accepted by the maternal body. This decline in immunity during pregnancy and the immediate postpartum period due to immune reconstitution had been responsible for a high degree of vulnerability, usually characterized by a significant exacerbation of tuberculosis symptoms and an unfavorable course of disease.

Pyridinone derivatives are of great interest in medicinal chemistry where they were found to be potent to various diseases. Their metal complexes added more value to their applications. Here, we have synthesized two 2-pyridinone derivatives(3-cyano-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-phenyl-2(1 H)-pyridinone and 3-cyano-4-chlorophenyl-6-(4-tolyl)-2(1 H)-pyridinone) using one-pot multicomponent system. They were well characterized using spectroscopic techniques like nuclear magnetic resonance(NmR-1 H & 13 C), Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The final structures were determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique which helps us to determine their geometries. Density functional theory(DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) with suitable basis-sets of calculations have correctly simulated these spectroscopic parameters. The intramolecular charge transfer(ICT) of both substrates has been discussed using natural bond orbital(NBO) technique. molecular electrostatic potential(mEP) surfaces showed their reactive locations for intermolecular charge transfer. Compared to p-nitroaniline(pNA), both substrates were shown to have substantial molecular hyperpolarizability.

The goal of this analysis was to evaluate the association between county-level ambient vinyl chloride(VC)and county-level liver cancer incidence and mortality rates in *** county-level ambient VC data were obtained from the National Air Toxics ***-adjusted county-level liver cancer incidence rates were abstracted from the Texas Cancer Registry and age-standardized county-level liver cancer mortality rates were obtained from the peer-reviewed *** imputation was utilized to impute incidence rates in counties with suppressed liver cancer incidence *** binomial and Poisson regression models were utilized to evaluate the association between county-level ambient VC and county-level liver cancer incidence and mortality rates,respectively,adjusted for county-level heavy drinking prevalence,hepatitis mortality rates,median income,and race(percent Hispanic).County-level ambient VC was not associated with county-level liver cancer incidence or mortality ***,when compared to the lowest tertile of ambient VC,the middle(relative risk[RR]:1.06,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.95-1.19)and highest(RR:1.03,95%CI:0.90-1.17)tertiles of ambient VC were not associated with liver cancer ***,county-level ambient VC in the middle(RR:0.95,95%CI:0.85-1.05)and highest(RR:0.93,95%CI:0.82-1.05)tertiles were not associated with liver cancer *** analysis suggests that county-level ambient VC is not associated with liver cancer incidence or mortality in *** study provides novel results regarding liver cancer risk from low-level non-occupational exposure to ambient VC.

Several kind of new numerical schemes for the stationary Navier-Stokes equations based on the virtue of Inertial manifold and Approximate Inertial manifold, which we call them inertial algorithms in this paper, together with their error estimations are presented. All these algorithms are constructed under an uniform frame, that is to construct some kind of new projections for the Sobolev space in which the true solution is sought. It is shown that the proposed inertial algorithms can greatly improve the convergence rate of the standard Galerkin approximate solution with lower computing effort. And some numerical examples are also given to verify results of this paper.

We use the sampling representations associated with Sturm-Liouville difference operators to derive generalized integral-valued trigonometric sums. This extends the known results where zeros of Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind are involved to the use of the eigenvalues of difference operators, which leads to new identities. In these identities Bernoulli＇s numbers play a role similar to that of Euler＇s in the old ones. Our technique differs from that of Byrne-Smith （1997） and Berndt-Yeap （2002）.

The Khur metallogenic district is located in a volcanic-plutonic belt in the central Lut Block(central eastern Iran). mineralization occurs in middle Eocene andesitic tuff and along four main vein systems trending northwest-southeast(Shurk, mir-e-Khash, Shikasteh Sabz and Ghar-e-Kaftar veins).microscopic studies reveal that the veins contain bornite, chalcocite, pyrite, tennantite together with minor sphalerite and chalcopyrite as hypogene minerals and chalcocite, digenite, covellite, valleriite,malachite, azurite, atacamite, hematite, and goethite as supergene minerals. The ore bodies are accompanied by narrow but intensely developed wall rock alterations of argillization, carbonatization and silicification. Copper content reaches 6.5, 2.4, 4.2 and 5% in mir-e-Khash, Shikasteh Sabz, Ghar-eKaftar and Shurk, respectively. microthermometric measurements of quartz-and calcite-hosted fluid inclusions indicate that the mineralization might be derived from a moderately saline hydrothermal fluid at temperatures between 175-316℃. Calculated δO values of water in equilibrium with quartz and calcite for Khur veins suggest that the fluid might have had a magmatic source, but theO-depletion was developed through mixing with meteoric water. Copper deposition in Khur veins is believed to have been largely caused by mixing, although wall rock reactions may also have occurred. The Khur veins are classified as volcanic-subvolcanic hydrothermal-related vein deposits.

Valorization of AZ91 by the hydrolysis reaction for hydrogen production(Electrochemical approach)

The hydrolysis of mg-based materials appears to be an ideal solution for clean energy *** hydrogen was produced by the hydrolysis reaction of a"standard"AZ91 alloy(called AZ91 in the following)in"model"seawater *** milling speeds(i.e.250 rpm and 350 rpm)were tested to enhance the reactivity of *** and AlCl_(3)were used as ball milling *** at higher rotational speed is more energetic,hence it ameliorates the most the hydrolysis performance of *** both milling additives,AlCl_(3)enhances the most the hydrolysis of AZ91 with a generation of 65%of its theoretical H_(2)generation *** best material was obtained by milling AZ91 at 350 rpm with graphite for 2 h followed by a further milling with AlCl_(3)for 2h-a yield of 75%of its theoretical H_(2)generation capacity was reached within a few *** corrosion behavior of milled AZ91 was investigated by anodic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The calculated electrochemical parameters from EIS fitting of two materials milled under different conditions but with the same milling additive are approximately the *** suggests that,in order to fully evaluate the reactivity of AZ91,hydrolysis,anodic polarization and EIS must be considered.

The free convective heat transfer to the power-law non-Newtonian flow from a vertical plate in a porous medium saturated with nanofluid under laminar conditions is investigated. It is considered that the non-Newtonian nanofluid obeys the mathematical model of power-law. The model used for the nanofluid incorporates the effects of Brown- ian motion and thermophoresis. The partial differential system governing the problem is transformed into an ordinary system via a usual similarity transformation. The numer- ical solutions of the resulting ordinary system are obtained. These solutions depend on the power-law index n, Lewis number Le, buoyancy-ratio number Nr, Brownian motion number Nb, and thermophoresis number Nt. For various values of n and Le, the effects of the influence parameters on the fluid behavior as well as the reduced Nusselt number are presented and discussed.
