The objective of this paper is to understand the benefits that one can achieve for large-scale supercritical CO_(2)(S-CO_(2))coal-fired power *** aspects of energy environment and economy of 1000 mW S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system and 1000 mW ultra-supercritical(USC)water-steam Rankine cycle coal-fired power generation system are analyzed and compared at the similar main vapor parameters,by adopting the neural network genetic algorithm and life cycle assessment(LCA)***-objective optimization of the 1000 mW S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system is further carried *** power generation efficiency,environmental impact load,and investment recovery period are adopted as the objective *** main vapor parameters of temperature and pressure are set as the decision *** results are concluded as ***,the total energy consumption of the S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system is 10.48 mJ/k Wh and the energy payback ratio is 34.37%.The performance is superior to the USC coal-fired power generation ***,the resource depletion index of the S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system is 4.38μPRchina,90,which is lower than that of the USC coal-fired power generation system,and the resource consumption is ***,the environmental impact load of the S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system is 0.742 m PEchina,90,which is less than that of the USC coal-fired power generation system,0.783 m PEchina,*** all environmental impact types,human toxicity potential HTP and global warming potential GWP account for the most environmental ***,the investment cost of the S-CO_(2)coal-fired power generation system is generally less than that of the USC coal-fired power generation system because the cost of the S-CO_(2)turbine is only half of the cost of the steam *** optimal turbine inlet temperature T_(5)becomes smaller,and the optimal turbine inlet pressure is unchanged at 622.082°C/30 mPa.

Assessment of Slope-Adaptive metrics of GEDI Waveforms for Estimations of Forest Aboveground Biomass over mountainous Areas

Waveform broadening effects of large-footprint lidar caused by terrain slopes are still a great challenge limiting the estimation accuracy of forest aboveground biomass(AGB)over mountainous ***-adaptive metrics of waveforms were proposed in our previous ***,its validation was limited by the unavailability of enough reference *** study made full validation of slope-adaptive metrics using data acquired by the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation(GEDI)mission,meanwhile exploring GEDI waveforms on estimations of forest *** types of waveform metrics were employed,including slope-adaptive metrics(RHT),typical height metrics relative to ground peaks(RH),and waveform parameters(WP).In addition to terrain slopes,two other factors were also explored including the geolocation issue and signal start and ending points of *** showed that footprint geolocations in the first version GEDI data products were shifted to the left forward of nominal geolocations with a distance of about 24 m~30 m and were substantially corrected in the second version;the fourth and fifth groups of signal start and ending points of waveforms had worse performance than the rest of the four groups because they used the maximum and minimum signal thresholds,*** airborne laser scanner(ALS)data as reference,the root mean square error(RmSE)of terrain slopes extracted from the digital elevation model of the shuttle radar topography mission(SRTm DEm)was about 3°.The coefficients of determination(R^(2))of estimation models of forest AGB based on RH metrics were improved from 0.48 to 0.68 with RmSE decreased from 19.7 mg/ha to 15.4 mg/ha by the second version *** RHT and WP metrics gave the best and the worst estimation accuracy,*** further improved R^(2) to 0.77 and decreased RmSE to 13.0 mg/ha using terrain slopes extracted from SRTm DEm with a resolution of 1 arc second.R^(2) of estimation models based on RHT was finally

V2O3 nanoparticles with high surface area have been successfully prepared by a new solvothermal method without using any surfactant and template. The size of V2O3 nanoparticles is mostly equal to 10 nm-30 nm. The highest surface area of obtained V2O3 nanoparticles reaches 49 m2/g. Several kinds of V2O3 catalysts were prepared by different methods. All these V2O3 catalysts obtained thereby showed high catalytic activity for oxidative desulfurization(ODS) reaction by using tert-butyl hydroperoxide as the oxidant. The V2O3 catalyst with a highest ODS activity was obtained under the following conditions: The catalyst was prepared upon using V2O5 as the vanadium source, methanol as the solvent, and oxalic acid as the complexing reagent at a V2O5/oxalic acid molar ratio of 1:2. The process for ODS of dibenzothiophene was carried out under mild conditions(under atmospheric pressure and at a relatively low temperature). The highest ODS activity of the obtained V2O3 nanoparticles can be attributed to their highest surface area.

Current researches based on areal or spaceborne stereo images with very high resolutions(m)have demonstrated that it is possible to derive vegetation height from stereo *** second version of the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer Global Digital Elevation model(ASTER GDEm)is the state-of-the-art global elevation data-set developed by stereo ***,the resolution of ASTER stereo images(15 m)is much coarser than areal stereo images,and the ASTER GDEm is compiled products from stereo images acquired over 10 *** forest disturbances as well as forest growth are inevitable in 10 years time *** this study,the features of ASTER GDEm over vegetated areas under both flat and mountainous conditions were investigated by comparisons with lidar *** factors possibly affecting the extraction of vegetation canopy height considered include(1)co-registration of DEms;(2)spatial resolution of digital elevation models(DEms);(3)spatial vegetation structure;and(4)terrain *** results show that the accurate coregistration between ASTER GDEm and national elevation dataset(NED)is necessary over mountainous *** correlation between ASTER GDEm minus NED and vegetation canopy height is improved from 0.328 to 0.43 by degrading resolutions from 1 arc-second to 5 arc-second and further improved to 0.6 if only homogenous vegetated areas were considered.

In order to predict the conductance for dilute 1 1 valent electrolyte solutions, a new conductance equation was proposed based on the Onsager and Onsagar Fuoss Chen conductance equation. It has only one parameter A , which can be obtained directly from the data of ionic limiting molar conductivity Λ ∞ m, and its expression is very simple. The new equation has been verified by the experimental molar conductivities of some single strong electrolyte and mixed electrolyte solutions at 298.15 K reported in literatures. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data. meanwhile the ionization constants of some weak electrolyte solutions were calculated by a modified equation of this new equation, and it was also found that the calculation results are in good agreement with the data in the literature.

The ultrasonic spray technology is studied by the method of theoretical derivation, CFD simulation, spray particle diameter detection and analysis, and experimental analysis. And the ultrasonic spray process for the coating of vascular stent is also optimized. Firstly, the ultrasonic atomization physical model is established and the equation of atomization particle diameter is derived. Secondly, the ultrasonic atomization process is simulated by the CFD method, and shows three atomization patterns： incomplete atomization pattern, critical atomization pattern and jet atomization pattem. The critical amplitude and power equation for ultrasonic atomization is derived. Thirdly, experiment is conducted to study the influence of parameters including power, gas pressure, and surface tension. The results show that the spray is stable though few particles are likely to collide each other during spray moving, and the droplet diameter is about 10μm. The Rosin-Rammler distribution equation for ultrasonic spray is created, and the uniform index number is between 7.11 and 11.48. The uniformity of spray particle diameter, the efficiency of adjustment and the energy consumption are better than traditional spray technology. Lastly, the ultrasonic spray process parameters for stent coating are optimized to eliminate the common defects and obtain fine coating.

Biofilms grown inside two sewage collecting pipes located in industrial and residential areas are studied. Bacterial biomass inside three layers of biofilms was evaluated. Biofilm cohesion under different mixing rate and ionic strength was also investigated. Effects of physical and chemical parameters in the biofilms were evaluated by monitoring turbidity, chemical and biochemical oxygen demands. Extracted organic matter from biofilms was partitioned to polar, aromatic and saturated fractions using activated silica column chromatography. Results revealed that bacterial biomass growth depending on biofilm thickness and stratification. The most loaded stratum in bacteria/biomass was the sewage-biofilm interface stratum that represented 51% of the total bacteria/biomass. Stirring rate and ionic strength of mono- and bivalent salts showed a major influence in biofilm disruption. The stirring time enhanced the exchange dynamic and matter capture between biofilm fragments at the critical stirring rate 90 r/min. Sodium chloride showed the dispersing effect on biofilms in suspension, and decreased the BOD5 （biochemical oxygen demand） beyond the physiological salt concentration.

A theoretical basis for the optimization of carbon dioxide injection parameters and the development of the drainage system can be provided by identifying the permeability change characteristic of coal and rock after injection of carbon dioxide into the coal seam. Sihe, Yuwu, and Changcun mines were used as research sites. Scanning electron microscopy and permeability instruments were used to measure coal properties such as permeability and surface structure of the coal samples at different pH values of carbon dioxide solution and over different timescales. The results show that the reaction between minerals in coal and carbonate solution exhibit positive and negative aspects of permeability-the dissolution reaction between carbonate minerals in coal and acid solution improves the conductivity of coal whilst, on the other hand, the clay minerals in the coal （mainly including montmorillonite, illite and kaolinite） exhibit expansion as a result of ion exchange with the H~ in acid solution, which has a negative effect on the per- meability of the coal. The permeability of coal samples increased at first and then decreased with immer- sion time, and when the soaking time is 2-3 months the permeability of the coal reached a maximum. In general, for coals with permeabilities less than 0.2 mD or greater than 2 roD, the effect on the permeabil- ity is low： when the permeability of the coal is in the range 0.2-2 mD, the effect on the permeability is highest. Research into permeability change characteristics can provide a theoretical basis for carbon diox- ide injection under different reservoir permeability conditions and subsequent drainage.
