Background: Em..gence agitation (EA) is a com..n phenom..on observed in pediatric patients following general anesthesia. This study aim.. to assess the efficacy of propofol and fentanyl in preventing EA and to com..re their associated com..ications or side effects. m..hods: This prospective random..ed observational com..rative study was conducted at Dhaka m..ical College Hospital from..uly 2013 to June 2014. The study aim.. to evaluate the effects of propofol and fentanyl on EA in children aged 18 to 72 m..ths undergoing circum..sion, herniotom.. and polypectom..operations. Ninety children were included in the study, with 45 in each group. Patients with psychological or neurological disorders were excluded. Various param..ers including age, sex, weight, Am..ican Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class, duration of anesthesia, Saturation of Peripheral Oxygen (SPO2), heart rate (HR), respiratory rate (RR), Pediatric Anesthesia Em..gence Delirium..PAED) score, duration of post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) stay, incidence of laryngospasm..nausea, vom..ing, and rescue drug requirem..t were com..red between the two groups. Results: Age, sex, weight, ASA class, and duration of anesthesia were com..rable between the two groups. Perioperative SpO2 and HR were sim..ar in both groups. However, the PAED score was significantly higher in the fentanyl group during all follow-ups except at 30 m..utes postoperatively. The m..n duration of PACU stay was significantly longer in the fentanyl group. Although the incidence of laryngospasm..as higher in the fentanyl group, it was not statistically significant. Conversely, nausea or vom..ing was significantly higher in the fentanyl group. The requirem..t for rescue drugs was significantly higher in the fentanyl group com..red to the propofol group. This study was carried out to prepare ZnO nanoparticles incorporated acrylam..e grafted chitosan com..site film..or possible biom..ical application especially drug loading in wound healing. ZnO nanoparticles were prepared by co-precipitation m..hod from..inc acetate di-hydrate and incorporated in acrylam..e grafted chitosan. FT-IR and TGA of the prepared com..site film..onfirm.. the successful incorporation of ZnO nanoparticles in the acrylam..e-grafted polym.. m..rix. SEm..m..es showed that the ZnO nanoparticles were hom..eneously distributed on the porous m..rix of the com..site film..Water uptake and buffer uptake analysis revealed that the com..site film..ould hold water and buffer sufficiently, which facilitated the absorption of exudate from..he wound site. Am..icillin was loaded in the prepared com..site film..nd the m..im.. loading efficiency was found to be 67.33% with drug concentration of 300 ppm..In vitro studies showed greater antim..robial activity of drug-loaded com..site film..om..red to both pure film..nd standard antibiotic disc. Finally, the In vivo m..se m..el showed m..im.. healing efficiency com..red to conventional gauge bandages because the loading of antibiotic in the film..roduced a synergistic effect and healing tim..was reduced.

为提高磁流变制动器制动能效,提出一种多盘连续可变磁流变液工作间隙结构的磁流变制动器。在ANSYS workbench环境下完成不同电流、间隙状态下的三维静态磁场仿真,对磁场沿工作间隙分布状况进行分析,通过试验台架对制动器性能进行测试。结果表明,磁流变液工作区域磁矢量分布相对均匀,无明显积聚现象,磁路设计合理。理论与实验结果变化趋势基本吻合,但在电流较大时,两者之间误差呈逐渐增大趋势。制动力矩在0~2.5 A电流变化区间增速较快,而在2.5~4.0 A区间明显放缓,最大力矩达到146.4 N·m..间隙未改变状态增加25.80%。设计的制动器TVR值达到48.81 kN·m..^(3),较传统磁流变制动器结构更紧凑,力矩调节范围更广,设计思路及实验结论对磁流变制动器结构的进一步研究具有借鉴意义。
