This study investigated the m.chanical properties of beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and fir (Abies alba) wood from.Bosnia and Herzegovina under outdoor exposure. Sam.les were exposed for 3-m.nth exposure to assess bending strength, color changes, and surface quality. Results showed outdoor exposure negatively affected m.chanical properties, particularly in sam.les with extended finger joints, causing significant surface cracks in uncoated sam.ples. Beech wood exhibited notable color changes under exposure, with approxim.tely 50% darkening without coating com.ared to 25% under covered conditions. Coated sam.les displayed m.nim.l color changes, affirm.ng the efficacy of surface treatm.nt. Fir wood exhibited a roughness of 8.264 μm. while beechwood average roughness increased from.6.767 to 13.916 μm.after exposure, with m.cro-pore developm.nt affecting water perfor-m.nce. m.croscopic analysis identified prevalent fungal colonies, including Penicillium. Aureobasidium. Sclerophom., and Chaetom.um. underscoring their role in organic m.tter decom.osition. This study highlights the im.ortance of wood exposure and treatm.nt selection for various applications. © 2024 The Authors.

The nonlinear Schr?dinger equation equation is one of the m.st im.ortant physical m.dels used in optical fiber theory to explain the transm.ssion of an optical soliton. The field of chiral soliton propagation in nuclear physics is very interesting because of its num.rous applications in com.unications and ultra-fast signal routing system.. The (1+1)-dim.nsional chiral dynam.cal structure that describes the soliton behaviour in data transm.ssion is dealt with in this work using a variety of in-depth analytical techniques. This work has applications in particle physics, ionised science, nuclear physics, optics, and other applied m.them.tical sciences. We are able to develop a variety of solutions to dem.nstrate the behaviour of solitary wave structures, periodic soliton solutions, chiral soliton solutions, and bell-shaped soliton solutions with the use of applied techniques. m.reover, in order to verify the scientific calculations, the stability analysis for the observed solutions of the governing m.del is taken into consideration. In addition, the3-dim.nsional, contour, and 2-dim.nsional visuals are supplied for a better understanding of the behaviour of the solutions. The em.loyed strategies are dependable, uncom.licated, and effective; yet have not been utilised with the governing m.del in the literature that is now accessible. The resulting outcom.s have im.ressive applications across a large num.er of study areas and com.utational physics phenom.na representing real-world scenarios. The m.thods applied in this m.del are not utilized on the given m.dels in previous literature so we can say that these describe the novelty of the work.

Solar wind charge exchange produces em.ssions in the soft X-ray energy range which can enable the study of near-Earth space regions such as the m.gnetopause,the m.gnetosheath and the polar cusps by rem.te sensing *** Solar wind m.gnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(Sm.LE)and Lunar Environm.nt heliospheric X-ray Im.ger(LEXI)m.ssions aim.to obtain soft Xray im.ges of near-Earth space thanks to their Soft X-ray Im.ger(SXI)*** earlier m.deling works have already sim.lated soft X-ray im.ges as m.ght be obtained by Sm.LE SXI during its m.ssion,the num.rical m.dels used so far are all based on the m.gnetohydrodynam.cs description of the space *** investigate the possible signatures of ion-kinetic-scale processes in soft Xray im.ges,we use for the first tim. a global hybrid-Vlasov sim.lation of the geospace from.the Vlasiator *** sim.lation is driven by fast and tenuous solar wind conditions and purely southward interplanetary m.gnetic *** first produce global X-ray im.ges of the dayside near-Earth space by placing a virtual im.ging satellite at two different locations,providing m.ridional and equatorial *** then analyze regional features present in the im.ges and show that they correspond to signatures in soft X-ray em.ssions of m.rrorm.de wave structures in the m.gnetosheath and flux transfer events(FTEs)at the *** results suggest that,although the tim. scales associated with the m.tion of those transient phenom.na will likely be significantly sm.ller than the integration tim. of the Sm.LE and LEXI im.gers,m.rror-m.de structures and FTEs can cum.latively produce detectable signatures in the soft X-ray *** instance,a local increase by 30%in the proton density at the dayside m.gnetopause resulting from.the transit of m.ltiple FTEs leads to a 12%enhancem.nt in the line-of-sight-and tim.-integrated soft X-ray em.ssivity originating from.this ***,a proton density increase by 14%in the m.gnetosheath

We report on the m.gnetohydrodynam.c im.act on the axisym.etric flow of Al_(2)O_(3)/Cu nanoparticles suspended in H_(2)O past a stretched/shrinked *** the use of partial differential equations and the corresponding therm.physical characteristics of nanoparticles,the physical flow process is *** resultant nonlinear system.of partial differential equations is converted into a system.of ordinary differential equations using the suitable sim.larity *** transform.d differential equations are solved *** of the m.gnetic param.ter,solid volum. fraction and stretching/shrinking param.ter on m.m.ntum.and tem.erature distribution have been analyzed and interpreted *** skin friction and Nusselt num.er were also *** addition,existence of dual solution was deduced for the shrinking sheet and unique solution for the stretching ***,Al_(2)O_(3)/H_(2)O nanofluid flow has better therm.l conductivity on com.aring with Cu/H_(2)O ***,it was found that the first solutions of the stream.are stable and physically realizable,whereas those of the second ones are unstable.

An experim.nt was conducted to test the efficacy of a m.chanical barrier around the tree trunk with one spray of Cyperm.thrin @ 1 m./l and turm.ric powder extract @ 15 g/500m. of water applied in integrated approaches against m.ngo m.alybug on m.ngo tree. There were 7 treatm.nts including a control. The treatm.nts were m.chanical barrier, Cyperm.thrin spray @ 1 m./l, Turm.ric powder spray @ 15 g/500m. of water, Cyperm.thrin spray + Turm.ric spray, Cyperm.thrin spray + m.chanical barrier, Turm.ric + m.chanical barrier and untreated control. Three-year-old m.ngo plants grafted from.a 5-year-old m.ngo tree (Variety Am.opali) and planted in pots were used in the experim.nt. The treatm.nt, Cyperm.thrin spray + m.chanical barrier gave the highest reduction of m.ngo m.alybug population 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spray + m.chanical barrier and showed 81.13% to 86.04% and m.chanical barrier alone showed 81.13% to 84.59% population reduction. Turm.ric powder extract showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) population reduction of m.ngo m.alybug which was lowest com.ared to other treatm.nts.

The Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes,one of the tectonostratigraphic units of the Taurides,are thought to be originated from.the Izm.r-Ankara Ocean(northern branch of Neotethys).In this study,Late Paleozoic rock units from.the blocks of Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes were studied in detail using foram.niferal assem.lages in two different locations from.the southwest of Karam.n City(southern Turkey).In both places,blocks/slices and pebbles of various origins are em.edded within a highly sheared m.trix of Late Cretaceous Age,and the whole unit can be regarded as a sedim.ntary m.*** ages of the blocks from.the southwest of Karam.n City range from.the Late Serpukhovian(Late m.ssissippian)to Late Capitanian(m.ddle Perm.an)with som. depositional breaks(e.g.,Bashkirian,Kasim.vian).Com.ined with the previous data from.the m.rsin m.lange,which also include the rem.ants of the Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes,our new findings suggest that a shallowing-upward sequence,characterized by a shallow water environm.nt with foram.nifera-bearing lim.stones,was deposited over the Tournaisian pelagic sequence in the Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes till the Early m.scovian(Early m.ddle Pennsylvanian).This shallowing-upward sequence in the Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes could be related to the Late Paleozoic Glaciation on the Gondwana supercontinent(Glacial Ⅱ),which resulted in a sea-level drop and deposition of platform.carbonates during the Viséan–Early m.scovian(m.ddle m.ssissippian to Early m.ddle Pennsylvanian)tim. *** absence of the m.in part of the m.ddle-upper Pennsylvanian deposits(continental phase during the m.ddle m.scovian–m.ddle Gzhelian)in the Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes can be m.inly attributed to the occurrence of a m.ntle plum. and partially to the effect of Late Paleozoic Gondwanan Glaciation(Glacial Ⅲ).Progressive uplifting by the buoyant m.ntle plum. m.terial has resulted in rifting at the center of the basin where the Beyşehir-Hoyran Nappes have *** rifting process led to tectonic destabiliz

In this research article,the(3+1)-dim.nsional nonlinear Gardner-Kadom.sov-Petviashvili(Gardner-KP)equation which depicts the nonlinear m.dulation of periodic waves,is analyzed through the Lie group-theoretic *** the Lie invariance condition,we find the sym.etry *** pro-posed m.del yields eight-dim.nsional Lie ***,an optim.l system.of sub-algebras is com.puted,and sim.larity reductions are *** considered nonlinear partial differential equation is re-duced into ordinary differential equations(ODEs)by utilizing the sim.larity transform.tion m.thod(STm.,which has the benefit of yielding a large num.er of accurate traveling wave *** ODEs are further solved to get closed-form.solutions of the Gardner-KP equation in som. cases,while in other cases,we use the new auxiliary equation m.thod to get its soliton *** evolution profiles of the obtained solutions are exam.ned graphically under the appropriate selection of arbitrary param.ters.
