Though silanization of alum.num.powder is currently used to im.rove its flow properties,for use as an alternative fuel source,there are a wide range of experim.ntal param.ters for the process and not all of them.have been thoroughly *** this is com.lete,it is unknown if the process is optim.zed in term. of tim.,efficiency,and ***,we report on a study into the effects of changes in hum.dity,degree of agitation,reaction tem.erature,and curing tim. upon the deposition of phenyl triethoxysilane into 20μm.d50)alum.num.*** confirm.the deposition of the coating via diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron *** then characterize the coated particles using apparent density m.asurem.nts and Carney flow *** analysis of variance,we find that,of the param.ters explored,only changes in cure tim. and reaction tem.erature provide m.aningful changes to the apparent density,while none of our param.ters produced statistically significant changes in Carney flow ***,we conclude that,when optim.zing silanization of alum.num.particles,environm.ntal control of hum.dity is unneeded and that the reaction can be run with m.nim.l *** ability to largely ignore these param.ters is a benefit to large-scale processing.

Android sm.rtphones largely dom.nate the sm.rtphone m.rket. For this reason, it is very im.ortant to exam.ne these sm.rtphones in term. of digital forensics since they are often used as evidence in trials. It is possible to acquire a physical or logical im.ge of these devices. Acquiring physical and logical im.ges has advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other. Creating the logical im.ge is done at the file system.level. Analysis can be m.de on this logical im.ge. Both logical im.ge acquisition and analysis of the im.ge can be done by software tools. In this study, the differences between logical im.ge and physical im.ge acquisition in Android sm.rtphones, their advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other, the difficulties that m.y be encountered in obtaining physical im.ges, which type of im.ge contributes to obtaining m.re useful and effective data, which one should be preferred for different conditions, and the benefits of having root authority are discussed. The practice of getting the logical im.ge of the Android sm.rtphones and m.king an analysis on the im.ge is also included. Although root privileges are not required for logical im.ge acquisition, it has been observed that very lim.ted data will be obtained with the logical im.ge created without root privileges. nevertheless, logical im.ge acquisition has advantages too against physical im.ge acquisition.

BACKGROUnD The sphericity of the fem.ral head is a m.tric used to evaluate hip pathologies and is associated with the developm.nt of osteoarthritis and fem.ral-acetabular *** To analyze the three-dim.nsional asphericity of the fem.ral head of asym.tom.tic pediatric *** hypothesized that fem.ral head asphericity will vary significantly between m.le and fem.le pediatric hips and increase with age in both *** Com.uted tom.graphy scans were obtained on 158 children and adolescents from.a single institution in the United States(8-18 years;50%m.le)without hip *** fem.ral m.asurem.nts including the fem.ral head diam.ter,fem.ral head volum.,residual volum.,asphericity index,and local diam.ter difference were used to evaluate fem.ral head *** In both sexes,the residual volum. increased by age(Pnificantly sm.ller fem.ral head size in older ages(>13 years)in fem.les,there were no sex-differences in residual volum. and aspherity *** were no age-related changes in m.an diam.ter difference in both sexes(P=0.07)with no significant sex-differences across different age groups(P=0.06).In contrast,there were significant increases in local aspherity(m.xim.m.diam.ter difference)across whole surface of the fem.ral head and all quadrants except the inferior regions in m.les(P=0.03).There were no sex-differences in m.xim.m.diam.ter difference at any regions and age group(P>0.05).Increased alpha angle was only correlated to increased m.an diam.ter difference across overall surface of the fem.ral head(P=0.024).COnCLUSIOn There is a substantial localized asphericity in asym.tom.tic hips which increases with age *** 2D m.asured alpha angle can capture overall asphericity of the fem.ral head,it m.y not be sensitive enough to represent regional asphericity patterns.

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and nDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts. Background:no studies have docum.nted long-term.trends in aboveground biom.ss(AGB)for m.xed-dipterocarp forests(m.F),the dom.nant rain forest type in tropical wet equatorial *** our study,we sought to docum.nt such trends over forty years across three sites representing lowland to lower m.ntane ***:To do this,we established fifty 100 m.25 m.plots in 1978 across three sites sam.led along an elevation gradient,identified as m.ture old-growth *** m.asured trees for diam.ter at breast height that we identified to species and *** took wood sam.les to calculate species wood-specific *** re-m.asured plots in 1998 and again in ***:We show standing AGB for all sites com.ined to be 517.52 m.·ha^(-1)in 1978,but this declined by 17%over 40 years to 430.11 m.·ha^(-1).no differences exist am.ng sites in AGB prim.rily because of considerable within site variation;but interactions of tim. with site show declines across sites were not uniform.one rem.ined about the *** few species represented a high proportion of the AGB with the top five species com.rising between 34%and 65%,depending upon site and year *** species,m.sua nagassarium.represented a disproportionately large am.unt of AGB and decline over tim.,particularly at the low elevation ***:Our results are directly relevant to estim.ting AGB and standing carbon sequestered in *** study is the first to dem.nstrate varying but overall,declining trends in am.unts of AGB am.ng forests m.king predictions of biom.ss and standing carbon in m.F difficult over wide regions.

The study of m.dified RnA known as epitranscriptom.cs has becom. increasingly relevant in our understanding of disease-m.difying m.chanism.. m.thylation of n6 adenosine(m.A) and C5 cytosine(m.C) bases occur on m.nAs, tRnA, m.-tRnA, and rRnA species as well as non-coding RnAs. With em.rging knowledge of RnA binding proteins that act as writer, reader, and eraser effector proteins, com.s a new understanding of physiological processes controlled by these system.. Such processes when spatiotem.orally disrupted within cellular nanodom.ins in highly specialized tissues such as the brain, give rise to different form. of disease. In this review, we discuss accum.lating evidence that changes in the m.A and m.C m.thylation system. contribute to neurocognitive disorders. Early studies first identified m.tations within Fm.1 to cause intellectual disability Fragile X syndrom.s several years before Fm.1 was identified as an m.A RnA reader protein. Subsequently, fam.lial m.tations within the m.A writer gene m.TTL5, m.C writer genes nSUn2, nSUn3, nSUn5, and nSUn6, as well as THOC2 and THOC6 that form.a protein com.lex with the m.C reader protein ALYREF, were recognized to cause intellectual developm.nt disorders. Sim.larly, differences in expression of the m.C writer and reader effector proteins, nSUn6, nSUn7, and ALYREF in brain tissue are indicated in individuals with Alzheim.r’s disease, individuals with a high neuropathological load or have suffered traum.tic brain injury. Likewise, an abundance of m.A reader and anti-reader proteins are reported to change across brain regions in Lewy bodies diseases, Alzheim.r’s disease, and individuals with high cognitive reserve. m.A-m.dified RnAs are also reported significantly m.re abundant in dem.ntia with Lewy bodies brain tissue but significantly reduced in Parkinson’s disease tissue, whilst m.dified RnAs are m.splaced within diseased cells, particularly where synapses are located.
