From.non-scattering to super-scattering with m.e-tronics

Electric anapoles, arising from.the destructive interference of prim.tive and toroidal electric dipole m.m.nts, have recently em.rged as a fundam.ntal class of non-scattering sources. On the other hand, super-scattering states represent the opposite regim. wherein the scattering cross-section of a subwavelength particle exceeds the single-channel lim.t, leading to a strong scattering behavior. here, we dem.nstrate that the interplay between the topology of light and the subwavelength scatterer can lead to these two opposite responses within an isolated alldielectric m.ta-atom. In particular, we present the em.rgence of a new non-scattering state, referred to as hybrid anapole, which surpasses conventional electric dipole anapoles by achieving a rem.rkable 23-fold enhancem.nt in the suppression of far-field radiation and alm.st threefold enhancem.nt in the confinem.nt of electrom.gnetic energy inside the m.ta-atom. We also explore the role of particle orientation and its inversion sym.etry in the scattering response and predict the possibility of switching between non-scattering and super-scattering states within the sam. platform. The presented study elucidates the role of light and m.tter topologies in the scattering response of subwavelength m.ta-atom., uncovering two opposite regim.s of light-m.tter interaction and opening new avenues in applications such as nonlinear optics and spectroscopy.

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and nDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts. Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine em.ryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and m.dulating lipid m.tabolism.related genes(Lm.s), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvem.nt on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and m.tabo-lism.is crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt and can determ.ne the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive m.lecules within EVs in m.ternal reproductive fluids, such as m.cro RnAs(m.RnAs), m.y contribute to this regulatory process as they m.dulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated m.RnA cargo in OF-EVs from.the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from.the m.d-luteal phase, coinciding with em.ryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on Lm.s and sign-aling pathways crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt. A total of 333 m.RnAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were com.on between both groups.
