BACKGROUND Inflam.atory bowel disease(IBD)constitutes a substantial risk factor for colorectal *** 43(Cx43)is a protein that form. gap junction(GJ)com.lexes involved in intercellular com.unication,and its expression is altered under pathological conditions,such as IBD and *** studies have im.licated epigenetic processes m.dulating DNA m.thylation in the pathogenesis of diverse inflam.atory and m.lignant *** ten-eleven translocation-2(TET-2)enzym. catalyzes the dem.thylation,hence,regulating the activity of various cancer-prom.ting and tum.r-suppressor *** To investigate Cx43 and TET-2 expression levels and presence of 5-hydroxym.thylcytosine(5-hm.)m.rks under inflam.atory conditions both in vitro and in *** TET-2 expression was evaluated in parental HT-29 cells and in HT-29 cells expressing low or high levels of Cx43,a putative tum.r-suppressor gene whose expression varies in IBD and colorectal cancer,and which has been im.licated in the inflam.atory process and in tum.r *** dextran sulfate sodium.induced colitis m.del was reproduced in BALB/c m.ce to evaluate the expression of TET-2 and Cx43 under inflam.atory conditions in *** addition,archived colon tissue sections from.norm.l,IBD(ulcerative colitis),and sporadic colon adenocarcinom. patients were obtained and evaluated for the expression of TET-2 and *** levels were reported at the transcriptional level by quantitative real-tim. polym.rase chain reaction,and at the translational level by Western blotting and *** Under inflam.atory conditions,Cx43 and TET-2 expression levels increased com.ared to noninflam.atory ***-2 upregulation was m.re pronounced in Cx43-deficient ***,colon tissue sections from.norm.l,ulcerative colitis,and sporadic colon adenocarcinom. patients corroborated that Cx43 expression increased in IBD and decreased in adenocarcinom.,com.ared to tissues from.non-IBD ***,TET-2

Despite the safety,low cost,and high theoretical capacity(820 m. h g^(-1))of Zn m.tal anodes,the practical application of aqueous Zn m.tal batteries rem.ins a critical challenge due to the Zn dendrite growth,corrosion,and hydrogen evolution ***,we dem.nstrate the m.ene ink hosting Zn m.tal anodes(m.@Zn)for high-perform.nce and patternable Zn m.tal full *** as-designed m.@Zn electrode is m.re facile and reversible than bare Zn and CC@Zn,as verified by better cyclic stability and lower overpotentials of sym.etric cells with the plating capacity of 0.05 m. h cm.(-2)at 0.1 m.A cm.(-2)and of 1 m.A h cm.(-2)at 1 m.A cm.(-2).The m.@Zn|m.O_(2)full cells deliver a high specific capacity of 281.9 m.A h g^(-1),91.5%of the theoretical capacity,achieving 50%capacity retention from.60 m. g^(-1)to 300 m. g^(-1)and 79.7%of initial capacity after 200 ***,the patterned devices based on the m.@Zn electrode achieve high energy and power densities of 348.57 Wh kg^(-1)and 1556 W kg^(-1),respectively,along with a capacity retention of 64%and Coulom.ic efficiency of 99%over 500 *** high perform.nce of m.@Zn is attributed to the high electrical conductivity and hydrophilicity of m.ene and rapid ion diffusion through the 3D interconnected porous channels.

近年来精神障碍和社会心理问题的患病率显著增加。精神障碍患者是最脆弱的人群之一,他们的政治、经济、社会和文化权利经常被忽视,在利用卫生保健、保险、就业和住房方面也受到歧视。精神卫生立法可以提高精神障碍患者的生活水平,可以为保护精神障碍患者的基本人权提供保障,还可以为精神障碍患者的社区融合,改善其获得卫生保健的机会,保护公民权利,以及住房、教育和就业等关键问题的解决提供法律框架。精神卫生法成为促进精神障碍患者获得精神保健服务,促进和保护其权利的有效工具。事实上,精神卫生系统的建立是一个循序渐进的过程,尽管一些国家已经建立了精神卫生法,但是其精神卫生体系仍然需要进一步完善。国家需要对精神卫生立法不断进行审查、修订和修正,不断提高其质量。世界卫生组织于2005年发布了一份关于精神卫生立法的检查清单,目的是为各国制定以人权为中心的精神卫生法提供指导。这份清单不是一套绝对的规则,它有助于各国评估其精神卫生立法是否已包括了关键组成部分,也有助于拉近各国精神卫生立法与《世界人权宣言》之间的联系。目的精神卫生立法的目的是保护、促进和改善公民的生活和精神健康。制定精神卫生法可以成为保护和促进人们获得利用精神卫生服务权利的有效工具。中国和印度尼西亚都制定了精神卫生法来保护精神障碍患者的权利。然而,精神卫生法本身的执行并不能确保尊重人权。因此,有必要对精神卫生立法进行分析,以确定精神卫生立法的内容是否能为精神卫生障碍患者提供保护。精神卫生系统的发展不是一蹴而就的,它需要不断的完善来提高精神卫生服务的质量。本研究的目的:1)根据世界卫生组织精神卫生立法检查清单,对中国和印度尼西亚的精神卫生法进行比较,分析其立法符合世界卫生组织检查清单的程度;2)为中国和印度尼西亚精神卫生系统的发展提供建议。方法本研究采用文献研究和专家访谈法。以世界卫生组织公布的精神卫生立法检查清单(2005年)为基本框架,在中国和印度尼西亚分别采访了一名具有法律或卫生法经验的专家,对各自国家的精神卫生法及相关的法律对照世界卫生组织检查清单进行打分,并解释理由。访谈的印度尼西亚专家是一名律师,支持并担任法律规划工作,目前在多所大学担任法律讲师;中国的专家是某大学卫生法专业教授,同时在中国卫生法专业学会任职。本研究采用的专家访谈法在先前Kelly等评估英格兰,威尔士和爱尔兰精神卫生立法,Richard评估印度精神卫生立法时均应用过。两名专家对各自国家的精神卫生法及相关法律对照世界卫生组织检查清单(2005年)进行评估,世界卫生组织2005年精神卫生法检查清单由175个条款组成,分为27个部分:A:序言和目的;B:定义;C:精神卫生服务的获得;D:患者获得精神健康服务的权利;E:家庭成员和其他护理人员的权利;F:法律能力及监护;G:自愿住院和治疗;H:无自主决定能力患者;I:非自愿住院(独立于住院)和非自愿治疗(住院和治疗结合);J:非自愿治疗(独立于非自愿住院);K:代理人对治疗的知情同意;L:社区中的非自愿治疗;m.紧急情况;N:精神障碍的确定;O:特殊治疗;P:隔离,限制;Q:临床与实验研究;R:监督和审查机制;S:警方职责;T:犯罪的精神障碍患者;U:歧视;V:住房;W:就业;X:社会保障;Y:人权问题;Z:对弱势社群的保护;AZ:罚则。这份清单可以帮助各国审查现有精神卫生立法的全面性和充分性。根据2014年Sotelo-m.nroy的研究,我们按照以下方法对三种可能的答案进行赋值:(a)如果该材料完全符合法律规定,或在精神卫生法中没有规定,但在其他法律中有规定,则得分为2;(b)精神卫生法有规定,但不全面的为1分;(c)完全不包括在内的为0分。如果为(b),请解释为何没有充分涵盖,现有条文有何欠缺或问题。如果为(c),请解释为何现行法律不包括(如有需要,可将额外资料加入新页)。如果为(b)或(c),请说明如何/是否将其列入新法律。每个国家精神卫生立法条款与世界卫生组织检查清单的符合程度为每位专家依据世界卫生组织检查清单对各自国家精神卫生立法的评分除以世界卫生组织检查清单中该条目的最大值乘以100%,世界卫生组织检查清单包括177个项目,因此总分为354分。计算公式为:符合率:专家对每个国家精神卫生立法的评分/世界卫生组织检查清单中该条款的最大值×100%为了分析立法与世界卫生组织检查清单的符合程度,我们将结果分为4个级别符合性非常高(75-100%)、符合性一般(50-74%)、符合性较低(25-49%)和符合性非常低(低于24%)。结果1.中国精神卫生法与世界卫生组织检查清单符合率非常高的条款包括:A)序言和目的,(C)精神卫生服务的获得,(D)患者获得精神健康服务的权利,(G)自愿住院和治疗,(H)无自主决定能力患者,(N)精神障碍的确定,(S)警方职责,(U)歧视,W(就业

Discrim.nation between upper versus lower airway com.onents to the rise of total airway resistance m.asured by Pennock’s m.thod after nasal irritant challenge

Term.nals of the trigem.nal afferents innervating nasal m.cosa are called gate keepers, since these fibres detect substances entering the airways. Trigem.nal excitation by irritants initiates airway defensive m.chanism., and it is also attributed to the influence of lower airways resistance in a term.of nasobronchial reflex. This phenom.non is frequently under debate, because som. investigators were unable to confirm.its existence. The aim.of our study was to determ.ne, whether pharm.cological approach could be useful to reach high accuracy and better interpretation of the data obtained by Pennock’s m.thod. Pennock’s m.thod, which is frequently used to m.asure airway resistance in vivo (Raw) in fact m.asures total airway resistance, however, the data are usually interpreted in a term. of bronchom.tor response. The upper airway com.onent, which represents approxim.tely 40% of Raw, is com.only not considered as being im.ortant in this m.thod. 30 Dunkin Hartley guinea pigs were exposed to nasal stim.li (TRPA1 agonist—irritant allylisothiocyanate (10 m., AITC), TRPm. agonist with cooling potential m.nthol (10-3 m. and saline as a control). Raw was m.asured pre challenge as baseline, after nasal provocation and further, after nasal inhalation of histam.ne and m.thacholine (10-6 m. each. The data showed rise of Raw only after nasal AITC challenge, with further increased responsiveness to histam.ne and m.thacholine (5.3 vs 10.18 vs 11.26 vs 17.32 cm.2O.s-1, p 0.05). No significant changes were detected after saline, or m.nthol respectively. Data obtained in further experim.nt and its analysis showed that pre-treatm.nt with nasal adm.nistration of 1% oxym.tazoline but without salbutam.l inhalation prevented the rise of Raw after nasal irritant challenges. Raw after nasal irritant challenges rises rather due to nasal response than due to narrowing of the lower airways.

m.nsoonal Influence on Evapotranspiration of the Tropical m.ngrove Forest in Northeast India

Evapotranspiration (ET) is an im.ortant part of the water cycle. This study reports on the m.nsoonal influence on the tem.oral variation in evapotranspiration of an extrem.ly water conservative and salinity stressed tropical m.ngrove forest at the land-ocean boundary of northeast coast of India. The m.gnitude and dynam.cs of evapotranspiration (ET) exhibited seasonality dom.nated by m.nsoon and evaporation rate was greater (0.055 ± 0.015 g·m.2·s-1) during the m.nsoon than in pre-m.nsoon (0.049 ± 0.018 g·m.2·s-1) and post-m.nsoon (0.044 ± 0.012 g·m.2·s-1). Seasonal difference in evapotranpiration was m.stly due to fluctuation of canopy resistance, which was the m.nim.m.during m.nsoon when relative hum.dity was greater than in the dry season (pre- and post-m.nsoon) and deficiency of water supply (ET ≈ ETeq) was m.nim.m. Evapotranspiration in the Sundarban m.ngrove ecosystem.is the predom.nant biophysical processes that recycles 67.7% of total precipitation annually to the atm.sphere, and has significant m.nsoonal influence.

Com.ined Effects of Hall Current and Rotation on Unsteady Couette Flow in a Porous Channel

The com.ined influences of Hall currents and rotation on the m.D Couette flow of a viscous incom.ressible electrically conducting fluid between two infinite horizontal parallel porous plates channel in a rotating system.in the presence of a uniform.transverse m.gnetic field have been carried out. The solutions for the velocity field as well as shear stresses have been obtained for sm.ll tim. as well as for large tim.s by Laplace transform.technique. It is found that for large tim.s the Hall currents accelerates prim.ry flow whereas it retards secondary flow while the rotation retards the prim.ry flow whereas it accelerates the secondary flow. It is also found that the velocity com.onents converge m.re rapidly for sm.ll tim. solution than the general solution. The asym.totic behavior of the solution is analyzed for sm.ll as well as large values of m.gnetic param.ter m., rotation param.ter K2 and Reynolds num.er Re. It is observed that a thin boundary layer is form.d near the m.ving plate of the channel and the thicknesses of the layer increases with increase in either Hall param.ter m.or Reynolds num.er Re while it decreases with increase in Hartm.nn num.er m. It is interesting to note that for large values of m. , the boundary layer thickness is independent of the rotation param.ter.

Chronic cough is a troublesom. problem.and it is frequently associated with diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux, asthm. and upper airway diseases—so called diagnostic triade. The m.gnitude and severity of cough is strongly associated with the ongoing nasal inflam.ation in subjects with rhinosinusitis and treatm.nt of nasal inflam.ation leads to the down regulation of pathologically up-regulated cough. Histam.ne plays a key role in the inflam.ation of the upper airways of different aetiologies;therefore histam.ne receptors seem.to be prom.sing targets. The aim.of our study was to ascertain the effect of H3R agonist im.tit and H3R antagonist thioperam.de on cough and sym.tom. of allergic rhinitis (AR) in an anim.l m.del of upper airway cough syndrom. in ovalbum.n sensitized guinea pigs. OVA sensitized guinea pigs (n = 10) were repeatedly challenged with i.n. allergen-OVA to induce allergic rhinitis and to enhance cough reflex according to the validated m.del of experim.ntal allergic rhinitis. Anim.ls were pre-treated by i.p. adm.nistration of im.tit (1 m./kg and 2 m./kg of body weight) and thioperam.de 30 m.n. prior i.n. OVA adm.nistration. Rhinitis evaluation was based on the occurrence of typical sym.tom.. The effect on cough was assessed from.the response to inhalation of citric acid (0.4 m. 10 m.n), final cough count and cough latency were analysed from.the airflow traces, cough m.tor pattern and the cough sound. AR up-regulated the cough response from.9 ± 2 to 16 ± 1 cough per provocation, m.d ± IQR, p m.tit (1 m./kg) suppressed nasal sym.tom. and decreased num.er of cough from.16 ± 1 to 12 ± 1;however the data did not reach significance. Im.tit (2 m./kg) significantly suppressed the nasal sym.tom., and num.er of coughs from.16 ± 1 to 6 ± 2, m.d ± IQR, p m.de (5 m./kg of body weight) did not have expected effects on tested param.ters. Com.osites containing biological m.terials with nanostructured architecture have becom. of great interest in m.dem.m.terials science, yielding both interesting chem.cal properties and inspiration for biom.m.tic research. Herein, we describe the preparation of a novel three-dim.nsional （3D） nanostructured m.O2-based com. posite developed using a carbonized proteinaceous spongin tem.late by an extrem. biom.m.tics approach. The therm.l stability of the spongin-based scaffold fadlitated the form.tion of both carbonized m.terial （at 650 ℃ with exclusion of oxygen） and m.nganese oxide with a defined nanoscale structure under 150 ℃. Rem.rkably, the unique network of spongin fibers was m.intained after pyrolysis and hydro^erm.l processing, yielding a novel porous support. The m.O2-spongin com.osite shows a bim.dal pore distribution, with m.cropores originating from.the spongin network and m.sopores from.the nanostructured oxidic coating. Interestingl3~ the com.osites also showed im.roved electrochem.cal properties com.ared to those of m.o2. Voltam.etry cycling dem.nstrated the good stability of the m.terial over m.re than 3,000 charging/discharging cydes. Additionally, electrochem.cal im.edance spectroscopy revealed lower charge transfer resistance in the prepared m.terials. We dem.nstrate the potential of extrem. biom.m.tics for developing a new generation of nanostructred m.terials with 3D centim.ter-scale architecture for the storage and conversion of energy generated from.renewable natural sources.
