Background: The form.ti.n of ki.ney stones i. consi.ered a com.li.ated process. Consequently, there are m.ny questi.ns about the li.k between ki.ney stones form.ti.n and level of sali.ary uri. aci. and calculus form.ti.n on the teeth surfaces. Objecti.es: To evaluate the correlati.n between the level of sali.ary uri. aci. and ki.ney stones form.ti.n and thei. i.fluence on dental calculus and peri.dontal status am.ng saudi.pati.nts aged 25 - 70 years. m.teri.ls and m.thods: 120 saudi.m.le pati.nts were exam.ned (60 of Ki.ney stones pati.nts and 60 pati.nts of non-ki.ney stones pati.nts) for cli.i.al evaluati.n of plaque i.dex (PLi., gi.gi.al i.dex (Gi., calculus i.dex of oral hygi.ne (Ci. and cli.i.al attachm.nt loss (CAL). m.reover, lab assessm.nt of uri. aci. level i. the collected sali.ary sam.les was done. The fi.di.gs were analyzed usi.g of ANOVA test and Tukey’s test. Results: There were stati.ti.ally si.ni.i.ant di.ferences i. cli.i.al param.ters am.ng ki.ney stones pati.nts and non-ki.ney stones pati.nts (p i.ferences were hi.hly stati.ti.ally si.ni.i.ant i. the correlati.n between calculus i.dex (Ci., plaque i.dex (PLi. and gi.gi.al i.dex (Gi. am.ng ki.ney stone pati.nts i. group i., m.reover, PLi.and cli.i.al attachm.nt loss (CAL) am.ng ki.ney stone pati.nts i. group i.i.(p i.ti.al analyses revealed stati.ti.ally si.ni.i.ant di.ferences i. the level of sali.ary uri. aci. i. the present study,the therm.l,m.chani.al,and bi.logi.al properti.s of xAg/Ti.30Ta(x=0,0.41,0.82 and 2.48 at%)shape m.m.ry alloys(Sm.s)were *** study was conducted usi.g opti.al and scanni.g electron m.croscopy(SEm.,X-ray di.fractom.try(XRD),com.ressi.n test,and shape m.m.ry *** xAg/Ti.Ta was m.de usi.g a powder m.tallurgy techni.ue and m.crowave-si.teri.g *** results revealed that the addi.i.n of Ag has a si.ni.i.ant effect on the pore si.e and shape,whereas the sm.llest pore si.e of 11μm.was found wi.h the addi.i.n of 0.41 at%along wi.h a relati.e densi.y of 72%.The fracture stress and strai. i.creased wi.h the addi.i.n of Ag,reachi.g the m.ni.0}m.values around 0.41 at%***,thi. com.osi.i.n showed the m.xi.0}m.stress and strai. at fracture ***,0.82 Ag/Ti.Ta shows m.re excellent corrosi.n resi.tance and bi.com.ati.i.i.y than other percentages,obtai.i.g alm.st the sam. behavi.ur of the pure Ti.and Ti.6Al-4V alloys,whi.h can be recom.ended for thei. prom.si.g and potenti.l response for bi.m.teri.l appli.ati.ns.

We sam.led twenty populati.ns of the vulnera- ble endem.c shrub or tree, Arbutus pavari. Pam.an., at di.ferent elevati.ns and aspects wi.hi. the A1-Akhdar m.untai.ous regi.n of Li.ya. Our sam.li.g si.es were at elevati.ns rangi.g from.285 to 738 m.above sea level, and several di.ferent habi.ats： valli.s （locally known as wadi.）, north- and south-faci.g slopes, and m.untai.tops. All i.di.i.uals wi.hi. each quadrat were studi.d. Populati.n si.e and structure, and plant functi.nal trai.s were assessed. None of the populati.ns had a stable di.tri.uti.n of si.e classes. Som. consi.ted m.stly of sm.ll plants, wi.h li.tle or no frui. producti.n; others consi.ted only of m.d-si.ed and large plants, wi.h hi.h frui. producti.n, but no juveni.e recrui.m.nt. There was a si.ni.i.ant i.crease i. percent cover wi.h i.creasi.g elevati.n; reproducti.e output （the num.er of frui.s per branch and total num.er of frui.s per i.di.i.ual） also generally i.creased wi.h elevati.n. i. som. of these populati.ns the lack of recrui.m.nt, and i. others the fai.ure to produce frui., together consti.uted seri.us dem.graphi. threats. i. li.ht of these results, recom.en- dati.ns are m.de for conservati.n of thi. vulnerable endem.c speci.s.

Cost effi.i.nt treatm.nt processes that are effecti.e i. rem.vi.g organi. load and other contam.nants are essenti.l to m.et stri.gent envi.onm.ntal regulati.ns appli.d i. Kuwai.. A research study was carri.d out at the Ki.R （Kuwai. i.sti.ute for Sci.nti.i. Research） to assess the techni.al vi.bi.i.y and econom.c feasi.i.i.y of com.i.ed m.crofi.trati.n and bi.logi.al treatm.nt system. Thi. work presents the econom.c evaluati.n of the adopted treatm.nt system. The results show that the cost of the i.tegrated system.for large scale i. esti.0}ted to be US$ 1.575/m., whi.h i. 25% less than the cost of wastewater transportati.n and treatm.nt i. conventi.nal sewage plants.

A [ReO(i.0})(Hyd)(H2O)2OH] com.lex was successfully synthesi.ed by the li.and exchange m.thod usi.g oxorhenui.0}ci.rate and an i.0}dazole /Hydanton m.xed li.and system. Geom.try opti.0}zati.n of com.lex has been carri.d out usi.g DFT at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ functi.nal i. si.glet state. B3LYP predi.ated i.frared spectrum.of the geom.tri.ally opti.0}zed structure usi.g the sam. level of the theory and the sam. base set showed good agreem.nt wi.h experi.0}ntally observed values. The spi. allowed si.glet-si.glet electroni. transi.i.n of the [ReO(i.0})(Hyd) (H2O)2OH] com.lex was calculated wi.h ti.0} dependent densi.y functi.n theory (TD-DFT) and the UV-Vi. spectra has been di.cussed on thi. basi.. The com.lex was characteri.ed usi.g m.croanalysi. and i., UV-Vi., Nm. and m.ss spectroscopi.. The techneti.m.tracer [99m.cO(i.0})(Hyd) (H2O)2OH] has also been synthesi.ed by two m.thods usi.g 99m.c-gluconate as a precursor or;by di.ect reducti.n. The radi.chem.cal puri.y of the com.lex was over 95% as m.asured by thi. layer chrom.tography. i. vi.ro studi.s showed that the com.lex possessed good stabi.i.y under physi.logi.al condi.i.ns. The parti.i.n coeffi.i.nt i.di.ated that the com.lex hydrophi.i. and the electrophoresi. results showed that the com.lex cati.ni.. Bi.di.trbuti.n i. m.ce showed that the com.lex accum.lated i. heart uptake of 9.53±3.87 % i./gm.at 5 m.n and good retenti.n (6.37±1.21) % i./gm.at 60 m.n. One hour after the i.jecti.n, the heart/li.er, heart/lung and heart/blood radi.acti.i.y rati.s were 0.46, 1.04 and 0.56, respecti.ely. These fi.di.gs i.di.ate that the com.lex m.ght be sui.able for m.ocardi.l i.0}gi.g.
