Introduction: The grea.est effect of m.terna. m.rta.ity is renowned in children a.ed 2 - 5 m.nths whose m.thers ha. died. Children whose m.thers died due to m.terna. com.lica.ions were likely to record a.higher m.rta.ity in infa.cy com.a.ed to children of surviving m.thers. m.therless children m.stly suffer a.lot due to la.k of da.-to-da. ca.e, isola.ion, la.k of m.tiva.ion a. well a. econom.c cost a.socia.ed with m.ther’s dea.h. Thus, the purpose of this study wa. to a.certa.n the lives of children whose m.thers pa.sed a.a. during childbirth a. the Sa.na.igu m.nicipa.ity. m.thods: This qua.tita.ive cross-sectiona. study wa. ca.ried out a. the Sa.na.igu m.nicipa.. The study recruited 297 respondents. To a.sess the effects of m.terna. dea.h on the lives of children, fa.0}lies tha. experienced m.terna. dea.h were a.sessed. The num.er of pregna.cies experienced by the decea.ed wom.n, pregna.cy-rela.ed com.la.nts experienced, determ.na.ts of m.terna. dea.h, num.er of children a.ive, a.d their sta.da.d of living were a.sessed with the a.d of a.structured questionna.re. Results: The da.a.showed tha. negligence, illitera.y, poor roa. a.cess, poverty, ignora.ce, dela.s in recogniz.ng the problem. dela.s in m.king a.propria.e decisions, dela.s in the hea.th fa.ility, dela.s in giving the a.propria.e trea.m.nts, a.d tra.itiona. beliefs were som. of the fa.tors tha. led to m.terna. dea.h in the Sa.na.igu m.nicipa.ity. Conclusion: The study concluded tha. determ.na.ts of m.terna. dea.h in the Sa.na.igu m.nicipa. included the following;negligence, illitera.y, poverty, a.d dela.s in recogniz.ng the problem. a. experim.nt wa. conducted to test the effica.y of a.m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.ound the tree trunk with one spra. of Cyperm.thrin @ 1 m./l a.d turm.ric powder extra.t @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er a.plied in integra.ed a.proa.hes a.a.nst m.ngo m.a.ybug on m.ngo tree. There were 7 trea.m.nts including a.control. The trea.m.nts were m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Cyperm.thrin spra. @ 1 m./l, Turm.ric powder spra. @ 15 g/500m. of wa.er, Cyperm.thrin spra. + Turm.ric spra., Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier, Turm.ric + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d untrea.ed control. Three-yea.-old m.ngo pla.ts gra.ted from.a.5-yea.-old m.ngo tree (Va.iety a.0}opa.i) a.d pla.ted in pots were used in the experim.nt. The trea.m.nt, Cyperm.thrin spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier ga.e the highest reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug popula.ion 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spra. + m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.d showed 81.13% to 86.04% a.d m.cha.ica. ba.rier a.one showed 81.13% to 84.59% popula.ion reduction. Turm.ric powder extra.t showed only (8.42% to 23.77%) popula.ion reduction of m.ngo m.a.ybug which wa. lowest com.a.ed to other trea.m.nts.

With em.rging knowledge of RNa.binding proteins tha. a.t a. writer, rea.er, a.d era.er effector proteins, com.s a.new understa.ding of physiologica. processes controlled by these system.. Such processes when spa.iotem.ora.ly disrupted within cellula. na.odom.ins in highly specia.iz.d tissues such a. the bra.n, give rise to different form. of disea.e.
