Background: COVID-19 lim.tations have hindered the im.lem.ntation of new technologies by preventing proctors from.com.ng to the *** share our first experience of m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)-guided focused ultrasound(m.gFUS)treatm.nt with an international rem.te online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the m.thodology of rem.te m.gFUS ***: This single-center,nonrandom.zed controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential trem.r(ET)and 67 with trem.r-dom.nant Parkinson's disease(PD).The com.ng of proctors was im.ossible,so we arranged for the rem.te participation of proctors from.the United Kingdom.Spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telem.dicine-proctored treatm.nt(proctor group)and 56 received their treatm.nt independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating Scale for Trem.r(CRST)for ET patients and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part III for PD ***: In patients with ET,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRST reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).none of the patients showed worsening of trem.rs within 1 *** patients with PD,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).The UPDRS Part III im.rovem.nt was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).The 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).no com.lications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe m.thodology for telem.dicine rem.te online-proctored m.gFUS *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed rem.te proctor protocols in term. of com.lication rate,effect,and long-term.results;however,UPDRS Part III im.rovem.nt was better in the PD solo *** study dem.nstrated that the m.gFUS international proctorship can be perform.d successfully rem.tely.

m.rphology of crater and caldera lakes in the Far Eastern region of Russia and the features of their developm.nt

Volcanic lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are difficult to access,and for this reason,they rem.in poorly studied,with only scattered and brief data *** authors have conducted a study of 10 lake basins using m.dern digital echolocation survey techniques and have also com.iled and sum.arized published data for 15 lakes in the region,calculating their m.in m.rphom.tric *** has been established that m.ny caldera lake basins are m.dified by young explosive funnels,extrusive or effusive dom.s,and exhibit traces of hydrotherm.l *** lakes of the sam. genetic type in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are sim.lar in depth and depression form.,the group of caldera lakes shows less hom.geneity across all m.rphom.tric *** was found that the absolute heights of the reservoirs on Kam.hatka Peninsula are generally greater than those on the Kuril Islands,as is often the case with the size of their *** volcanic lakes under study can rapidly change their volum. and shape under the influence of endogenous *** the first tim. for this region,on the base of repeated observations,underwater extrusive dom. rate growth and the approxim.te rates of 2 lake level changes were *** observations of lakes in the Ksudach calderas(Kam.hatka)and on Sim.shir Island indicate approxim.te rates of level changes:a decrease ranging within 0.5-0.6 m.per year(over a 27-year observation interval)and an increase reaching up to 0.26 m.per year(over a 48-year interval).The growth rate of the underwater extrusive dom. in Lake Shtyubel has averaged 1-1.6 m.per year over the past 25 *** analysis has facilitated the first generalization regarding the m.rphology and developm.ntal features of crater and caldera lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region of Russia,representing an im.ortant step in their *** results obtained will provide a solid foundation for subsequent research in this region and m.y be of interest to researchers studying
