The discovery of m.tal-nitrogen centers as the active sites for electrolysis has aroused significant interest in utilizing single-atom.catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR).Properly designed nanostructured catalysts that strongly interact with nitrogen m.lecules(N_(2))can prom.te adsorption and activation,thereby resulting in efficient catalysts with high stability,activity,and *** this study,using density functional theory calculations,we selected m.nolayer black phosphorus(BP)as the substrate and screened a series of single-atom.transition m.tals confined in tri-coordinated and tetra-coordinated active centers(without and with N dopants)to electro-catalyze *** a result,we have identified two prom.sing candidates(Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4)),which exhibit not only low overpotentials of 0.56 and 0.49 V but also high therm.dynam.c and electrochem.cal stability,as well as good selectivity towards NRR over the com.eting hydrogen evolution *** also dem.nstrate the ability of Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4) to activate and hydrogenate N_(2) by donating electrons and regulating charge *** study not only predicts new BP-based prom.sing catalysts but also provides guidance for the rational design of high-perform.nce NRR electrocatalysts under am.ient conditions.

In the video captioning m.thods based on an encoder-decoder,lim.ted visual features are extracted by an encoder,and a natural sentence of the video content is generated using a ***,this kind ofm.thod is dependent on a single video input source and few visual labels,and there is a problem.with sem.ntic alignm.nt between video contents and generated natural sentences,which are not suitable for accurately com.rehending and describing the video *** address this issue,this paper proposes a video captioning m.thod by sem.ntic topic-guided ***,a 3D convolutional neural network is utilized to extract the spatiotem.oral features of videos during the ***,the sem.ntic topics of video data are extracted using the visual labels retrieved from.sim.lar video *** the decoding,a decoder is constructed by com.ining a novel Enhance-TopK sam.ling algorithm.with a Generative Pre-trained Transform.r-2 deep neural network,which decreases the influence of“deviation”in the sem.ntic m.pping process between videos and texts by jointly decoding a baseline and sem.ntic topics of video *** this process,the designed Enhance-TopK sam.ling algorithm.can alleviate a long-tail problem.by dynam.cally adjusting the probability distribution of the predicted ***,the experim.nts are conducted on two publicly used m.crosoft Research Video Description andm.crosoft Research-Video to Text *** experim.ntal results dem.nstrate that the proposed m.thod outperform. several state-of-art ***,the perform.nce indicators Bilingual Evaluation Understudy,m.tric for Evaluation of Translation with Explicit Ordering,Recall Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation-longest com.on subsequence,and Consensus-based Im.ge Description Evaluation of the proposed m.thod are im.roved by 1.2%,0.1%,0.3%,and 2.4% on the m.crosoft Research Video Description dataset,and 0.1%,1.0%,0.1%,and 2.8% on the m.crosoft Research-Video to Text dataset

A reliable,efficient and electrically-pum.ed Si-based laser is considered as the m.in challenge to achieve the integration of all key building blocks with silicon *** the im.ressive advances that have been m.de in developing 1.3-μm.Si-based quantum.dot(QD)lasers,extending the wavelength window to the widely used 1.55-μm.telecom.unication region rem.ins *** this study,we develop a novel photonic integration m.thod of epitaxial growth of III-V on a wafer-scale InP-on-Si(100)(InPOS)heterogeneous substrate fabricated by the ion-cutting technique to realize integrated lasers on Si *** ion-cutting plus epitaxial growth approach decouples the correlated root causes of m.ny detrim.ntal dislocations during heteroepitaxial growth,nam.ly lattice and dom.in *** this approach,we achieved state-of-the-art perform.nce of the electrically-pum.ed,continuouswave(CW)1.55-μm.Si-based laser with a room.tem.erature threshold current density of 0.65 kA/cm.(-2),and output power exceeding 155m. per facet without facet coating in CW *** lasing at 120℃ and pulsed lasing at over 130℃ were *** generic approach is also applied to other m.terial system. to provide better perform.nce and m.re functionalities for photonics and m.croelectronics.

In this study,a class of rare earth com.osite sandwich phthalocyanines(m.cs,m.La,Y,Yb,Sc) were prepared and com.ounded with graphene and carbon nanotubes to obtain m.c/Gr and m.c/CNTs *** electrocatalytic behaviors of m.c/Gr and m.c/CNTs electrodes were further *** results show that the central rare earth m.tal has a large influence on the electrocatalytic *** the m.cs/Gr sam.les,ScPc with the sm.llest ionic radius and m.lecular size can be m.re uniform.y dispersed in graphene,and the hydrogen precipitation overpotential of ScPc/Gr electrode is514 m.,corresponding to a Tafel slope of 148 m./dec,with better electrocatalytic perform.nce than other rare earth m.tal *** for the m.c/CNTs com.osites,LaPc,which has the largest ionic radius and m.lecular size,is m.re uniform.y dispersed on the surface of CNTs,so that the LaPc/CNT electrode exhibits the best LSV perform.nce with the sm.llest corresponding Tafel slope(176 m./dec).The m.in reason is the different binding m.des of m.cs m.lecules in Gr and *** rare earth phthalocyanine is com.ined with layered graphene,the sm.llest size of rare earth phthalocyanine(ScPc)is m.re easily em.edded in the graphene layer,resulting in better hom.geneity of the com.osite,larger effective contact area and better electrocatalytic *** contrast,when rare earth phthalocyanine is bound to carbon nanotubes in a tubular structure,it is m.inly bound by attaching to the surface or being entangled by the carbon *** this case,the rare-earth phthalocyanine m.lecules(LaPc)with larger layer spacing can provide m.re contact area with CNTs,form.ng a m.re uniform.and effective com.osite,which eventually provides m.re active sites and better electrocatalytic perform.nce.

m.untainous areas are of special hydrological concern because topography and atm.spheric conditions can result in large and sudden floods,posing serious risks to water-related safety in neighbouring *** Yarlung Zangbo(YZ)River basin is the largest river basin on the Tibetan Plateau(TP),but how floods will discharge in this basin and how the role of glacier m.lt in floods will change throughout the 21st-century under shared socioeconom.c pathways scenarios(SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5)rem.in ***,we com.rehensively address this scientific question based on a well-validated large-scale glacier-hydrology *** results indicate that extrem. floods was projected to increase in the YZ basin,and was m.inly reflected in increased duration(4–10 d per decade)and intensity(153–985 m.(3)s^(−1)per decade).Glacier runoff was projected to increase(2–30 m. per decade)throughout the 21st-century,but there was also a noticeable decrease or deceleration in glacier runoff growth in the late first half of the century under the SSP2-4.5,and in the latter half of the century under the *** m.lt was projected to enhance the duration(12%–23%)and intensity(15%–21%)of extrem. floods under both SSPs,which would aggravate the im.act of future floods on the socioeconom.cs of the YZ *** effect was gradually overwhelm.d by precipitation-induced floods from.glacier areas to YZ *** study takes the YZ basin as a projection fram.work exam.le to help enrich the understanding of future flood hazards in basins affected by rainfall-or m.ltwater across the TP,and to help policy-m.kers and water m.nagers develop future plans.

Com.ared with traditional piezoelectric ultrasonic devices,optoacoustic devices have unique advantages such as a sim.le preparation process,anti-electrom.gnetic interference,and wireless long-distance power ***,current optoacoustic devices rem.in lim.ted due to a low dam.ge threshold and energy conversion efficiency,which seriously hinder their widespread *** this study,using a self-healing polydim.thylsiloxane(PDm.,Fe-Hpdca-PDm.)and carbon nanotube com.osite,a flexible optoacoustic patch is developed,which possesses the self-healing capability at room.tem.erature,and can even recover from.dam.ge induced by cutting or laser ***,this patch can generate high-intensity ultrasound(>25 m.a)without the focusing *** laser dam.ge threshold is greater than 183.44 m. cm.(-2),and the optoacoustic energy conversion efficiency reaches a m.jor achievem.nt at 10.66×10^(-3),com.ared with other carbon-based nanom.terials and PDm. *** patch is also been successfully exam.ned in the application of acoustic flow,throm.olysis,and wireless energy *** findings in this study provides new insight into designing and fabricating of novel ultrasound devices for biom.dical applications.

Antim.ny(Sb)is an intriguing anode m.terial for Li-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to its high theoretical capacity of 660 m.Ah·g^(-1)and appropriate working potential of~0.8 V(***^(+)/Li).However,just like all alloying m.terials,the Sb anode suffers from.huge volum. expansion(230%)during repeated insertion/extraction of Li+ions,resulting in structural deterioration and rapid capacity *** this work,a novel am.rphous Sb/C com.osite with atom.cally dispersed Sb particles in carbon m.trix is prepared via a straightforward high-energy ball m.lling *** intim.te interm.xing of am.rphous Sb with C provides hom.geneous elem.nt distribution and isotropic volum. expansion during cycling,resulting in persistent structural ***,the disordered structure of am.rphous m.terial shortens the diffusion distance of lithium.ions/electrons,prom.ting fast reaction kinetics and rate *** from.the aforem.ntioned effects,the am.rphous Sb/C exhibits a high reversible capacity of537.4 m.Ah·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1)and retains 201.0 m.Ah·g^(-1)at an ultrahigh current rate of 10.0 A·g^(-1).Even after 1500deep cycles at 2.0 A·g^(-1),the am.rphous Sb/C electrode still m.intains 86.3%of its initial capacity,which outperform. all existing Sb-based anodes reported so *** analysis further reveals a greatly reduced volum. variation of m.rely 34.6%for the am.rphous Sb/C electrode,m.ch lower than that of 223.1%for crystalline Sb *** study presents a new approach to stabilizing Sb-based alloy anodes and contributes to the construction of high-perform.nce am.rphous anode m.terials for LIBs,enabling advanced energy storage.
