目的确定慢性肝病病人的特征及m.成像表现与钆塞酸增强m.肝胆管期成像显示为低信号的乏血供结节继发性血管过度生成的相关性。材料与方法经机构审查委员会批准,免除病人知情同意。回顾性分析经多次钆塞酸增强m.随访检查的68例病人的160个乏血供结节。建立用于评估血管过度生成的Cox回归模型来探索包括病人因素[Child-Pugh分级、肝病病因、肝细胞肝癌(HCC)的局部治疗史,以及并存的富血供HCC]及m.成像特征(脂肪成分、T2加权成像信号强度及结节大小)在内的病人基本特征的相关性。此外,通过肿瘤体积倍增时间的倒数来计算增长速度并采用受试者操作特征曲线和Kaplan-m.ier分析研究其与继发性血管过度生成的相关性。结果继发性血管过度生成的发生率为31%(50/160结节)。独立Cox多变量预测血管过度生成增加的危险因素为T2加权成像高信号[风险比(HR)=8.7;95%CI:3.6～20.8]、曾经局部治疗的富血供HCC(HR=5.0;95%CI:1.8～13.6)、Child-PughB级肝硬化(HR=3.6;95%CI:1.4～9.5)和并存富血供HCC(HR=2.0;95%CI:1.0～3.8)。出现继发性血管过度生成结节的平均生长速度明显高于没有血管过度生成的结节。基于受试者操作特征曲线临界值[1.8×10-3/d(肿瘤倍增时间,542d)]的Kaplan-m.ier分析显示生长速度快的结节,其血管过度生成的发生率明显增高(P=5.2×10-8,log-rank检验)。结论慢性肝病病人乏血供结节T2加权成像高信号是其继发性血管过度生成的独立和显著的基本危险因素。肿瘤体积倍增时间<542d与继发性血管过度生成发生率的增高具有相关性。

This article addresses the increasing need for participatory approaches to disaster reduction at the com.unity level. Based on the author's 30-year engagem.nt in the m.untainous com.unity Chizu Town, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, a unique participatory approach called ‘‘Zeroto-One m.vem.nt'' has been strategically studied. The study areas are found to have adaptively increased their coping capacity. Their unique participatory process is shown to be an adaptive process for Sm.RT com.unity governance under persistent disruptive risks—‘‘S'' represents sm.ll-sized and survivability-m.nded, ‘‘m.' m.destscale and m.ltiple-stakeholder involved, ‘‘A'' anticipatory and adaptive, ‘‘R'' risk-concerned and responsive, and ‘‘T''is transform.tive. Finally, the Case Station-Field Cam.us schem. is proposed to serve as a platform.for studying the adaptive processes over a long period of tim..

This process does not use general electroless plating solution containing form.ldehyde(carcinogen) and phosphate(the object of waste water regulation). Furtherm.re, we succeeded in developing a new electroless copper plating solution which is usable sem.-perm.nently by using the special reducing agent. The electroless deposition form. a very thin conductive film.on substrate. Therefore, it can prevent som. appearance defects (e.g. pits, pin-holes, lam.nations and inclusions) that occur in the conventional ones. In addition, it is possible to elim.nate electroplating of copper from.the process by applying the exclusive nickel solution in electroplating. Therefore, the obtained m.tal parts can be recycled as high quality stainless steel. Given this copper electroplating-free process, 25 u m.thick nickel deposition at the stage of electroplating, at least, enables the m.tal layers to show properties as versatile as those of the conventional(its total thickness is 25 n m.in the com.arative conventional process).

We propose a new m.del with flavor-dependent gauged U(1)B-L1×U(1)B-L2-L3sym.etry in addition to the flavor-blind sym.etry in the Standard m.del. The m.del contains three right-handed neutrinos to cancel gauge anom.lies and several Higgs bosons to construct the m.asured ferm.on m.sses. We show the generic features of the m.del and explore its phenom.nology. In particular, we discuss the current bounds on the extra gauge bosons from.the K and B m.son m.xings as well as the LEP and LHC data, and focus on their contributions to the lepton flavor violating processes of ?i+1→?iγ(i=1,2).

This paper treats the num.rical calculation of a steady two-dim.nsional viscous flow past a flexible m.m.rane. Both edges of the m.m.rane are fixed in the flow and its chord is set norm.l to the flow. The num.rical calculations of the Navier-Stokes equation based on a finite difference m.thod and a relaxation m.thod are carried out for several values of the m.m.rane tension in cases when the Reynolds num.ers are 5, 10 and 20. It is found that the m.m.rane tension has a m.nim.m.value below which there is no steady shape of the m.m.rane. Two different shapes of the m.m.rane are possible at a given value of tension: the one is of sm.ll deform.tion, while the other a large deform.tion. There appear twin vortices in the concave region of the m.m.rane shape if its deform.tion increases to a certain extent.

The m.crostructure change in thin NiFe/Cu/NiFe film. during the m.gnetization process was observed by the Lorentz electronm.croscopy. TWo types of film. were prepared: (1) one NiFe layer with anisotropy and the other layer without, and (2) both NiFe layershave anisotropy norm.l each other. The dom.in wall m.gration and m.gnetization rotation processes in each of NiFe layers could be observed separately. The presence of m.gnetic anisotropy in the m.gnetic layer effectively controls the behavior of m.gnetic dom.ins. Theinteraction between the two NiFe layers of the film.could be observed not so strong in the present experim.nt.

m.thyl m.thacrylate (m.A) was grafted onto silk fiber in a one-step em.lsion system.using a diethylzinc and 1,10-phenanthroline com.lex. The reaction conditions were investigated by varying tem.erature and initiator to m.nom.r ratio. Fourier transform.infrared (FTIR) spectrum. therm.gravim.tric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron m.croscopy (SEC) techniques were used to characterize the structure, therm.l stability, and surface m.rphology of the obtained product, respectively. Grafting of m.A onto silk increased the therm.l stability of silk. The FTIR spectrum.and SEm.im.ges provided further evidence that m.A has been successfully grafted onto the silk fiber. A peak ascribed to the C=O stretching vibration of m.A was detected in the FTIR spectrum.of grafted silk fiber, which was not present in the spectrum.of pure silk fiber. m.reover, the SEm.im.ges illustrated the increase in diam.ter and surface roughness of grafted silk com.ared with pure silk. Lastly, the dyeing perform.nce of the m.dified silk was significantly increased.

Dear Editor,Intensive treatm.nts such as prim.ry androgen deprivation therapy(pADT)plus docetaxel or abiraterone acetate are reportedly beneficial in m.tastatic prostate cancer(m.Ca)patients with high-volum. disease or high-risk features,respectively.1,2 High-volum. or high-risk features are determ.ned exclusively via pretreatm.nt *** patient responsiveness to pADT,which is one of the m.jor determ.nants of survival in these patients,would be advantageous with regard to m.king prim.ry treatm.nt *** an initial 3-m.nth period is possible,short-term.serum.param.ter dynam.cs can be used to predict pADT ***-specific antigen(PSA)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)dynam.cs have been indicated as potential predictors.3,4 Although pADT can reportedly cause a 20%-30%decrease in adrenal androgen levels,5 it is not known whether the dynam.cs of adrenal androgens shortly after the initiation of pADT can predict pADT *** aim.of the current study was to identify predictors of pADT responsiveness am.ng pretreatm.nt param.ters and 3-m.nth dynam.cs(D3m.of serum.param.ters including the adrenal androgen,dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate(DHEAS).
