A series of dust pollen sam.les was collected along N-S transects in east China (18°N to 53°N latitudes). Sam.le sites extend from.the cold-tem.erate zone in the north to the tropical region in the south. Pollen taxa characterize each region and reflect the natural and devastated vegetation as well as corre- sponding clim.tic zones. The quantitative pollen data can be used to estim.te the spatial distribution of planted and introduced species. Valuable inform.tion of hum.n disturbance of the natural forest is evaluated by quantitative com.arison between dust pollen and in-situ pollen of protected forest. In addition, percentages of grass pollen vary regularly from.north to south that is consistent with spatial distribution of net prim.ry productivity in east China. Am.ng all grasses, Artem.sia and the Gram.neae carry the clearest signal: their ratio increases northwards and therefore represent a suitable and con- venient tool for palaeoclim.te reconstructions.

Background: Novel player tracking technologies can change the understanding of perform.nce determ.nants in team.sports by allowing to accurately m.asuring the activity dem.nds. The aim.of this study was to identify how the defensive pressure affects the tim.-m.tion variables and the technical actions in ***: Twenty international m.le players(age: 16.05 ± 2.09 years, weight: 73.13 ± 8.10 kg, height: 183.10 ± 5.88 cm. played two 10 m.n basketball quarters, where they used a m.n-to-m.n 1/4-court defense until the 4th m.n(F1/4), changed to m.n-to-m.n full court(FULL) for 3 m.n and, from.the 7th to the 10 th m.n returned to 1/4-court defense(S1/4). A com.uterized notational analysis was perform.d using Sim. Scout and positional data were captured with the Ubisense Real Tim. Location System.m.an sam.ling rate 3.74 ± 0.45 Hz per transm.tter/player).Results: The tim.-m.tion variables presented sim.lar results between defensive conditions, showing a total distance covered around 90 m.***, results suggested possible vertical jum. im.airm.nts in S1/4 periods. Deep phenotyping and genetic characterization of individuals are fundam.ntal to assessing the m.tabolic status and determ.ning nutrition-specific requirem.nts. This study aim.d to ascertain the utm.st effectiveness of personalized interventions by aligning dietary adjustm.nts with both the genotype and m.tabolotype of individuals. Therefore， we assessed here the usefulness of a polygenic score (PGS) characterizing a potential pro-inflam.atory profile (PGSi) as a nutrigenetic tool to discern individuals from.the Danish PREVENTOm.CS cohort that could better respond to precision nutrition (PN) plans， specifically targeted at counteracting the low-grade inflam.atory profile typically found in obesity. The cohort followed a PN plan to counteract the pro-inflam.atory profile (PNi group) or generic dietary recom.endations (Control) for 10 weeks. PGSi was applied for genetic stratification (Low/High). The effects of the intervention on anthropom.trics and biom.rkers related to inflam.atory profile and carbohydrate m.tabolism.were assessed. Around 30% of subjects had a high genetic predisposition to pro-inflam.atory status (high-PGSi). These individuals dem.nstrated the m.st effective response to the dietary plan， experiencing im.roved body com.osition， with significant decreases in body weight (△: -4.84%; p=0.039) and body fat (△: -4.86%; p=0.007)， and beneficial changes in pro- and anti-inflam.atory biom.rkers， with significant increases in IL-10 (△: 71.3%; p=0.025) and decreases in TNF-α (△: -3.0%; p=0.048)， CRP (△: -31.1%)， ICAm. (△: -5.8%)， and m.P1 (△: -4.2%) circulating levels， com.ared to low-PGSi individuals. Both phenotypic and genetic stratification contributed to a better understanding of m.tabolic heterogeneity in response to diet. This approach allows for refinem.nt of the prediction of individual requirem.nts and potentially for better m.nagem.nt of obesity.

在中国东部连续的尘土孢粉样基础上,用转换函数的方法研究中国东部孢粉与气候的定量关系。研究结果证明,中国东部现代花粉的分布与年均温有密切关系,某些草本植物花粉之间的含量变化很大程度上与太阳辐射量和不同纬度的温度变化有关。因此定量重建古植被带的迁移及古气候的变化就成为可能。通过对比,选择Artem.sia与Poaceae的比值作为温度替代指标。Arte/Poac与纬度相关系数的平方值(R^2)为0.9579,它与年均温的相关系数平方值也达到0.9162。用回归方程定量重建了中国东部海域钻孔DGKS-9602的古气候,由于末次盛冰期草本植物花粉丰富,获得的气候值可信度最好,即年均温比现代降低了8℃左右(6—10℃),植被带向南推移了约8—10纬度,这一结果与前人的研究结果基本吻合。
